Ayise skidded into the lab, almost crashing into a set of beakers. "Morning'." She yawned, she wore an over-sized pink sweater and white tennis skirt; her hair was pushed up into a bun that clearly showed she was only half-awake. She yawned again, "What a beautiful morning before noon which is morning." Implying she didn't like getting up early, she pulled out a thermos of coffee and began drinking it. She sighed, and tried to smile cheerfully, "So, what's shakin' Kumi-chan?"

'At this so early hour of the morning...?'

"Kumi-chan knows he is wrong." She's already knew about the process of distlling different types of coolers and alcohols due to her family's involovment in just about everything a person could imagine.

Ayise stated bluntly, "Even if he is of a legal age to drink." She glared and him and sighed, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, Well, how about we go get something to eat?" She asked taking a bigger sip of coffee. "I heard there's a cafe' just a bit off-campus, they serve the best tea and- Kii-kun?"

She started looking up her sleeves and down her shirt for the missing poisonous Black Asp that for some reason she kept as a pet. "Kii-kun? Where'd you go?" she kneeled down near the ground, "I hope he doesn't bite anyone...that could be unpleasant."

Ayise looked at Kumizu from underneath a table, "Kii-kun is misunderstood, without his poison how could he catch his food?" She nodded as if it was common sense, "Humans couldn't catch their food without hands, so it only makes sense that snakes need a 1-up too." She shrugged, "Besides Kii-kun only bites in self-defense."

She pushed her hair out of her face and sweatdropped, "Um..Kumi-chan?" she asked quietly, "Don't move, okies?" She had spotted the AWOL "pet" slithering up Kumizu's leg. "No sudden movements, neh?" "Kii-kun" merely looked at Ayise and continued his 'escape'.

"...! I feel...rejected..."

"Relax, I just didn't want you to scare poor Kii-kun. He has a delicate psyche." She reached out and plucked up the animal by the back of it's head and it crawled up her arm and around her neck, "He's harmless, for the most part, I mean what's six minutes of agony compared to an enternity in heaven?" She said cheerfully, and rather morbidly finding the bright side of 'death by snake poison'.

"'Do something!' You weren't scared, were you, Kumi-chan?" She snickered, "Not so tough are you?" She'd never let this one go, it was right there in her mind with her theories of being a mermaid and a sponge.

"Uh-huh." She turned around and waved to a female scientist who was cowering on top of a metal stool. "Wow, she's odd." She walked out into the sunshine and stretched, "...Still...too...early..." She yawned, (One would take into account that Kii-kun, has vanished again...)

"The cafe' is just a bit off campus, if you're not up to it..." She trailed off, challenging him, "I mean you constantly complain about your cane..." She peered at him from the corner from her eye. "Yes, we'd better just stay on campus."

" 'Ding-Dong it's the witch doctor, Ding-Dong he;s coming for you...' "Ayise sang happily as she leaned on a lab table reading her physics book. Kii-kun laid on a table (with a lump that was probably lunch) while a group of scientists examined him. They seemed curious about how tame he was.

"He's harmless." She insisted, she'd been busted about him after he'd escaped last night in the Wingardia Dorms. Supposedly, she had to have him de-toxed. She doubted they had the nerve to open the animal's mouth. She doubted it was smart either.

She kicked her sneakers on the table and dug through her jeans pockets, then she burst into random laughter. The scientists glanced up at her and then looked away. They were getting used to her psychosis already.

Lorelai came skipping happily back into the room in Asura Labs that she'd cleaned up earlier to serve as her own personal living quarters and laboratory. Noticing that some stuff was out of place as she came in, she shrugged and made her way over to the table in the middle of the room.

"Looks like some people ignored the sign," she thought out loud. "Guess I really will have to get a keypad installed. A girl's got to have her privacy, after all!"

Beckoning Usagihana into the room after her, she waved her hand toward the table she was standing at. Opening one of the drawers, she started getting out a bunch of different mechanic's tools, as well as emptying the contents of the bag she was carrying onto the countertop. Rolling up the sleeves on her jumpsuit, she smiled widely.

"Okay! Let's get started!"

"You're probably right," Lorelai said, nodding at Usagihana's earlier remark. "Maybe it would be a better idea to have a high-end security system installed instead, with containment fields and lasers and things." She quietly considered this as she made her way over to the lab table.

"All right," she said, everything laid out neatly on the table in front of her. "Hop on up here, and let's see that data of yours." Booting up her laptop and all of her sensors, Lorelai connected Usagihana to the equipment just as she had done at the lake, setting the programs up for efficient data transfer between her computer and the bunny-bot.

"This way we can make sure that we've both got the same data - plus, my systems and yours probably analyzed it differently, so it'll be nice to get two perspectives on the same numbers." The computer began whirring as the data zipped along the transfer cable between it and Usagihana, various numbers and charts skimming across the screen at high speeds. After several minutes, a helpful smiley face popped up on Lorelai's computer, cheerfully announcing the completion of the data sharing.

Smiling back at Usagihana, she disconnected the cables. "There we go!" she announced happily. "That didn't take long at all. Thank goodness for superior technology." Stepping back, she threw her arms out wide. "So, you mentioned you needed to take some scans of my personal energy wavelengths and cerebral function, right? Go ahead and do your thing, then."

She stood just like that, waiting for Usagihana to commence the scanning.
