Hair
Around the time of Nov 01 Mike, Chester and Joe had shaved heads- amusingly enough Mike said they did this to avoid questions about their hair.
* Linkin Park use Special FX (or Special Effects) and Fudge to color their hair
* Mike's natural hair color is black.
* During the 'One Step Closer' era, Mike's hair was bright red. He bleached his hair himself at the time and colored it red with "Ruby Red" and occasionally Fudge 'Rock Star Red'.
* When Mike later colored his hair blue, he had it professionally bleached because he said he couldn't do a good job by himself. Mike thought the whole blue thing was too annoying though. This led to just blue/red tips,etc.

Linkin Park has announced the formation of Music For Relief to aid tsunami victims in southern Asia. The band is working in alliance with the American Red Cross and has donated $100,000 as a starter for the program.
The band was strongly affected by the tragic events that unfolded on December 26th and decided to act rather than remain on the sidelines.
As Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson put it, "As a band, we were in a position to help, but this needs to be a lot broader effort, both by our fans and by other musicians. If one of our fans can donate $10, then that's going to help, and the faster we can do it, the better." Delson also added, "We don't have a specific monetary goal right now, but we hope that anyone and everyone who can help will. We hope people will contribute what they can, because we can really save lives."
Donations can be made via Music For Relief at MusicForRelief.org, or via the American Red Cross Web site at RedCross.org
