get the madman valve. i bet you could get it down to 200 if you did.

yes thats duck tape on the frame. i was REALLY board and couldnt sleep. i'm thinking i might want to use a wire brush attatchment on a dremel and do the whole body silver. i've messed up the back pretty bad when the dremel slipped. maybe if i practice i can do a fade or something.

it was a spider compact 2000. so the whole rear of the gun was one solid piece

i have:
hacked up the back
put macroline insted of steel hose
coin mod
trigger job
modded stock switch
14" no name barrel

going to:
drill larger VA holes
finnish cutting slot for bolt pin
put together bolt pin.

I've heard the Tornado valve and Madman are the absolute best. The Tornado costs too much money and the Madman is too complicated to tune. Besides most people can only go down to 200ish PSI anyway the extra money isin't worth it in my opinion. I have never heard of a Spyder going any lower than 250PSI personally working flawlessly anyway with no re cocking problems. I'm considering buying a NDZ valve and a AKA bolt. I find it hard to get the right FPS without a better bolt. I'm going to try modyfing the stock one first before spending the $$$

I think the half backing is nice, good job smile

the madman valve is only like $40 last i heard. i have no idea about the tuning though.

tuning it is a b***h that's why I decided not to bother with it.
I was reading how to install it and it was way BEYOND me. mrgreen

hrm well this would be the place to ask. okay im getting a spyder MR1 in the next few months. i dont want electric kuz its rainy here soooooo much. and elec would die when i go navy seal.. so yeah okay what should i put on it barrelwise, a good air tank (suggestions), uhh i will put some sort of a 1x or 1.5x scope on it. so suggestions on that too...

I've heard that some barrels might not fit the MR1 so ask around. I'm pretty sure the J&J will fit.

It can't rain that much lol but since it's woodsball it's cool. I would suggest buying a cheap HPA tank. a steal one. You can find them around 50dollars, but before buying any aircource make sure you have a local paintball shop and or scubashop that can fill whatever air source you need.

I would not bother with a scope. Paintballs aren't so accurate that you would most likely use it. Your lucky if your shots will go strait much less be balls on accurate. cool

I would just grab a refurbished xtra, the MR1 has a side feed and costs more. But if milsim is what you like then knock yourself out.
