*The Captain of the Leo-9, which like the other Leos have no names as of yet, looked to his view screen and his jaw dropped. The scattered and numerous voices on the ship bridge stopped and everyone looked to their view screens to see something rising from the chaotic dusts of the planet below. The captain knew what it was and fear welled within him.*

"Damnit... Have all ships direct their ship fire on the Daemon.... the Claymore must not be allowed to fire upon us! The fighters can take care of the wanzers."

*The Claymore warfrigate is one of the most destructive forces in the universe with the one weapon more powerful than the Leo warship's particle burst and beam technology, the Pulsar Bomb. A bright flash came from the bow of the Claymore and a bright flash of purple flew across the battlefield and struck the Leo-6, which began to glow of white, purple, blue, and bright green and then a moment later the Leo-6 was gone in a inward flash, as if it had used its blink engines, but then there was a huge energy wave from the point singularity that formed for a split second. All ships felt the wave and the sensors were scrambled for moments, the Claymore's pulsar bomb system was damaged by a missle barrage from the Leo-6 and the Claymore then began to launch its own missles and phaser arrays, it most likely be destroyed in a few fortminutes.*

The ships of the Centurion Fleet, stopped what they were doing and began to focus on their fire onthe Claymore Warfrigate as well. Long range bombardment was even coming for the distant Olympus class ships. It was quite evident that all the ship''s wanted the Claymore gone before they became the next target.

*Gabriel and his small troop wander into the passageway that Daisuke's troops beacon signaled from. He waves to the group and shows that they meet peacefully.*

"It's good to see you guys.... but you need to follow us please to the maglift so we can get to the Sanctum before Pride bretches it and takes all the glory."

*He turns and waved them to follow with his Yarigrin custom pistol and headed back to join up with Pride and his five troop divisions.*

*Gabriel and the troops stepped off the lift and began to traverse the shrapnel from the explosions used to remove some doors and the melted metal of others. They come up on Pride and the troopers who were putting the final explosives on the final sanctum shield door.*

Gabriel: "I see you're almost done, Sir."

*Pride looked over at Gabriel and smiled. He pointed to the large man wiring the bomb.*

Pride: "Yea, good thing the major here knows how to rewire the bombs and make them stronger than the usual stock allows."

*Gabriel loses his smile and begins to shake his head, and he brings his pistol in scope of Pride and he pulled back the hammer and had his finger firm on the trigger.*

Gabriel: "I'm sorry, sir. But, I can't let you do this. I respect you but I can't let you go through with this. My loyalties lie with the Council... they mean well and in the end they know best. You helped in the formation of that council and deemed you unfit for duty. I was told to follow along with you... and over time I did come to like you sir, as a commanding officer... but that is over and rank has been stripped. I'm sorry but I must do this duty."

*Pride dropped his head and lightly shook it.*

Pride: "No Gabriel.... I'm the one who is sorry. Not for what I have done... or that I trusted you... I am sorry that you actually brought any troops with you or escorted Daisuke's men here if you wanted to kill me. All you had to do was sabotage something or killed me earlier. Now you are in a death trap and think getting rid of me will fix this."

*Gabriel began to shake his gun a little and his eyes wandered around looking at those at his sides and in front of him/*

Gabriel: "No sir... my men are loyal to me, ergo loyal to the Council... and they believe as I do and will defend me. And your men will have trouble shooting at their comrads and friends. Daisuke's men can't do a thing about this... I could easily take you out atleast if I am shot."

*Gabriel reaffirmed his grip and began to line the gun up with Pride's head and a tear runs down his cheek.*

Gabriel: "I really am sorry, sir, may God have mercy on all our souls.

*Pride closed his eyes and bowed his head.*

*Pride noticed that Gabriel's eyes wandered at the morita rifles pointed at him and the laser was distracting his pariferal vision. He nodded and pulled up his own pistol and let out a shot into Gabriel's right shoulder making him lose control of his hand and drop the gun. He walks over to Gabriel who was holding his shoulder and grimacing.*

"I'm sorry friend but it is for the best, you now have a choice... you can come to serve what is right and learn what is best by your own mind and heart and possibly serve on the next council... or die here for their lost and unrighteous cause. What say you?"

*Gabriel just slumped over and passed out.*

"Such a pity... just lock him up and we will discuss his sentence later."

*He turned as one of his men stopped the bleeding and then bound him to be retrieved later. The Major returned to wiring the spear bomb.*

*Pride looked back for a minute at the new figure and then looked over the Major's shoulder.*

"Good to see that your hear Daisuke. We're about to blow the door... five minutes and it will fling outward into the wall and not cause shrapnel to fliy into peopes precious faces or other body parts."

*They step back from the Major as he does the final poisitioning.*

*The bomb went off turning the metal of the door into a white hot mass that spread out with the air into the wall and fusing the wiring in there causing the lights in the passage and sanctum to flicker and pulse. The name of the bomb made sense when the flames shot forward in a spear-like flare into the next room.*

"Okay lets move out!"

*The major jumps up and is the first to run into the room 'Come on yah panzys!... You can't live forever." Pride shakes his head and pulls up his P90-TAC and follows the major and the rest of the troops unload into the large room to see where the Council was hiding within this sanctum of law.*

*Pride shakes his head and pulls down his goggles and also sees no heat signatures resembling people.*

"Only the council and the acting Commandant can be in this sanctum... believe me thats the way it was when I was here... and the Council liked it that way. They are somewhere in here... possibly hidden in one of the quarters or in any of the other storage rooms."

*Pride walks towards the council room and opens the door to see no heat signatures but a strange form stands across the room. He flips up his goggles and looks through the vapors. He sees a man in a suit with a pistol at his side, a gunKata!, Pride steps back and opens his mouth.*

"Jeanus! You abomination upon this domain.... I didn't think you'd hide behind the cowardly walls the Council put up to hide their yellow asses."

*Pride lifts up his weapon and puts it in sight and range of Jeanus for a clear shot, Jeanus lifts his own gun and his helmet visor lifts up and shows his face.*

"I only waited for you brother. This ends here."

*Pride just sighs.*

"You are just full of cliches.... I swear!"
