-She finished shaking Lustra's hand, then turned to look at Destiny. She scoffed as she watched the woman talking to the boy, then turned her back to them both and started talkign to Lustra again.- "Hmmm, So am I really that loud? Oh, no matter...You should come up on deck some time, I find it's awfully shut up down here..."

((why is everyone calling me Lustra?? i thought my name was Lutra!!))
you were. *she looked around and, still seeing nothing to do, stood.*
i don't mind closed spaces. i prefer to be outside at night anyway. *Lutra began pacing up and down a beam in the floor from being unable to run.* she hated daylight, it was always so bright.

-Sparrow's lips turned from a happy smile to a glower. This place and these people were putting a damper on her good mood. She'd have to leave before she'd become a drama queen and huff-off back up to her nest where she'd remain for a good while. Forcing the smile back on her lips, she spoke.- "Well, Lutra [Happy?] it was a pleasure to meet you, hopefully I'll return down here one day and we might comence in drinking...untill then, tatas." -She nodded her head to everyone else and left to galley, returning to deck where she belonged, leaving what she'd refer to in the future as the 'Sour-Box'.-

Since the boy didn't seen to want to talk, Destiny turned, and saw Sparrow leaving the Galley. You're welcome down here anytime Sparrow! she called out to the departing figure. Turning to Lutra, she said " if you want to go out on deck, that's perfectly all right. You can come and go as you please. Only there is one rule.. no filching food from the galley. I'm usually here all hours, let me know, and I'l fix you a snack... Other than that, help yourself to lunch, and come back whenever.."

Kauro sat there for what seemed like ages as he tried to will himself not to up his guts ((in other words puke)) after taking such a large swig of the Captain's special hang over remedy. Slowly hes face started to regained color again and his head stopped spinning. " That's it I'm not getting drunk like that ever again...." Said the youth in a still somewhat sickly tone. He then brought his head up an glanced around the galley. Spotting Lutra he asked her for a mug of water.

certainly *Lutra darted in the galley, found a mug and water, put the water in the mug ((these things are essential, the mug is not in the water)), and was out before the door had closed the first time.*
here you go. need anything else? bah! curse this sudden good mood.

Destiny plunked herself down in the chair across from the boy.
" So, what brings you aboard the Lady? Don't believe that I've seen you about before. Are you hungry?"

"I guess its not much of surprise... I've must have been gonna longer than I thought." Said the youth with a bit of a sigh, shaking his head a little when the lady offered him something to eat.

Destiny started to sit down opposite from the boy and Lutra, then remembered that she had not updated the galley menu for the week. Grabbing some chalk and a rag, she wiped the slate blackboard and rewrote the menu for the week.

- Pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots
- Apple and Walnut Salad
- Biscuits with Cream and Sausage Gracy
- Officer's Desert for this week: Hot Apple Pie a la Mode`

"is that rain i hear?" Lutra looked up from the grian in the table, which she had been tracing with her finger.
"i love the rain! i'll be back down in a little while. just yell if anyone needs me." she jumped up and ran out of the galley, stumbling on the stairs but picking erself up just as quick as she had gone down. rain, rain, rain. i love rain! pit-pat, pit-pat, rain! she sang to herself as she slid on the already slick deck and landed laughing.

Kauro sighed as he watched the younger lass ran up the stairs to the deck. "Guess I should go see what duties the Captain has for me." Getting up carefully the youth got to his feet and made his way up to the deck aswell.

Taking a step into the Galley a familiar smell hung in the air.
Well, I'm glad to see the food did not change much
Sitting down at a table she glances around to see if any familiar faces show themselves.

Destiny swung through the galley on her way to her quarters to pick up her wet-weather gear, and she saw a new face. "Hello there I'm Destiny, ship's cook. I'm sorry that there's nothing going yet. We're out working on cleaning the ship's hull at the moment. You're welcome to help yourself to anything in the kitchen, within reason. Just clean up after yourself. I"ll be back in later to fix supper for the crew." She waved to the girl, then went on to her cabin.
