Asa eyed him, moving closer to them so that their fur touched as she sat again. Was he teasing her? "Oh, just lovely. But, the cubs are growing up strong, and I really have nothing to complain about." Though she wanted to.

It wasn't as if U'yosi was a bad mate, he just expected more out of her than Asa was willing to give at the moment. How could she help it if the remnants of her Clan reminded her of the past? Of watching all but her most immediate family grow sick and die? But she brought none of this up around Aya. He would think it weak, and so she pushed it from her mind.

"And yours?" She smiled, knowing how bored he became without her around.

Aya frowned, he should've known the question would backfire. He snorted, "Could be better, but I can't complain much either." He didn't like the whole clan system exspecially when he was trapped with Ina, his cousin. Of all the clans he could be in, he was trapped with him all day. "There is a change coming," Asa pressed against him and he couldn't help but purr between his sentence, " Yeah, like I was saying. A change is coming. If you haven't noticed the old generation is dieing out, there are only two elders in all our clans. Perhaps our ways should change too. Even the spirits are dwelling on what they really want." He looked up at the foliage hiding the whispy night clouds from view as if he could see right through them. "They are confused and anxious." His blue eyes twinkled at his deep inner thoughts.

Aya sighed, there was so many things in his way at the moment. If only he could part it all, and create a path for himself, or he feared that someday he may go insane from his bottled up dreams.

((Sorry this came out kinda weird, I'm listening to Yellowcard's "Only One" and its clouding my vision in roleplaying. xp ))

Asa'nunu watched him, she loved to see that dreamy look to his eyes. But no matter how much she loved being with him, she knew her first priority was her Clan. As it would always be.

"A change, Aya?" She nuzzled her nose against his shoulder. He was so thoughtful at times, unlike U'yosi. Aya had plans. He could sense the spirits, those things that were always beyond Asa. "Hopefully for the better," she murmured. Change was frightening to her, as it was what had killed off most of her Clan. But she trusted in Aya, and his great plans.

Things were beginning to blur in her mind, the priorities of her Clan and Aya were becoming confused. If she had to choose between them, right now, Asa had no idea what she would do. That was what being around Aya did to her.

((hehe *evil chesire cat grin* Aya confizziles Asa....he good at that *pets*))

Aya smiled down at the head pressed into his shoulder, "Hopefully, but everything has its downsides, just sometimes its to good to notice the bad parts." He hoped that wouldn't worry Asa, he hated seeing her upset. He licked her face to help. It was quiet, but the tree's branches creaked absently in the light wind. He knew he would get no sleep tonight, once again he was right. He couldn't let his pride get to him though, it was the spirits that told him. He yawned anyway, "Hmmm."

Stumbling around in the dark, Uhi'sati Galu'nadi searched for her father. It was past her bedtime, but she couldn't go to sleep without Aya'tas present. Flattening her ears back to her skull, the little cub sniffed the ground. She had been following her father's scent, a smell she knew well. It pained her heart that he would leave her even for a minute. She was always with her daddy. Breaking through a wall of brush and grass, Uhi saw her father and Asa'nunu together. The cub snorted as she glared Asa. She didn't want to share her father with anyone! Uhi bounded forward, planting herself between the pair. Turning to Aya'tas, she looked up to him, a pathetically sad face strew across her face. "Daddy, why did you leave me?"

Kala listened to the conversation quietly, perhaps hoping that nobody would notice her, or give her any tasks to do. However, with her mother's attention on her, and Aya's suggestion of finding the others in the clan, she knew who they wanted for the job, much to her own personal dislike. The lioness' ears flattened to her head slightly as she thought to herself who she needed to find. The only others whom did not know of these plans to move were her brother Ama, her daughter Uhi'sati, Ada'wehi, and Ina'li Dida.

Bowing her head to her mother, she turned the opposite direction and padded off into the grass once more. Knowing Aya, he is going to look for Uhi'sati on his own. So that leaves my brother, Ada'wehi, and Ina'li. Well, since Ada'wehi is a cub, I think I shall go look for her first... Pointing her nose into the air and inhaling deeply, she searched for the cub's scent. A small sensation of Ada'wehi's presence tickled her nostrils. And with that, the lioness bound off into the grass, heading towards the area she had been gazing at the moon.

Aya jerked in surprise fromo his daughter's intrusion, "Oh, hello daughter." He tried to rip himself away from Asa, and was able to do so after a few pained seconds. He plodded over, looking down at her daughter with immense pride. "I didn't leave you, I couldn't find you." He sat down on the ground with a plunk, "There is a difference you know." He wondered if his daughter was relayed the news. He really couldn't tell, so he decided he's just tell her. Besides its more impressive coming from him, "Did you hear we are going to Star Groove? Look, we already met with the Wolf Clan." He smiled sheepishly at Asa, but before he turned back to Uhi the expression had diminished. "Are you ready?"

U'yosi glanced down at his son, blunt ears perking upright and body tensed, though a rough smile was still upon his face.. "Smell the Sky Clan upon the wind! They are north, moving south towards us. Perhaps even the adu'ladai and your sister are with them. Shall we run to meet them also?" The male lion seemed eager to see others, but then suddenly realised his cloud-marked son was tired.
"Or we could take our time, and explore a little upon the way," he offered generously, the kindly father in his tone.

Us'kali padded up, but lingered a short distance away from Aya and his daughter, noticing the visual exchange between Aya and Asa and shaking her head ruefully. If Kala weren't so focused on her grief, that could be a problem...which is part of the reason that I stand by my opinion that Aya would not be a suitable wanidatsi...for to unite all of the clans, one must be able to remain above reproach, at all times... she thought, actually sighing aloud and looking even more tired than usual.

Asa stared at Uhi'sati, her blue eyes almost glaring. But the emotion was gone in an instant, and she pretended as if they had been doing nothing. "I will go find my Clan, Aya'tas." She said softly, bowing her head as she moved out from under the branches. The little brat wouldn't be gone anytime soon, and it was best if they weren't seen together.

She padded hurridly towards U'yosi's smell, growling softly into the wind. She didn't like being pulled away from Aya, especially by some cub.

Aya watched Asa go, face dropping with sadness. He tried to regain his stiff posture as to not give any ideas to her lovable daughter. "Good bye Asa'nunu. Join back later tonight so we can start the journy to Star Grove." He gave a last warm heated smile to Asa before turning back to his daughter. It was bad timing for his daughter to bud in, but she was only a cub, probably oblivious to the connection he has with Asa. He couldn't blame her. His blue eyes were direct but more lax, then normal. Usually he was always this way with Uhi, but with Asa around he just couldn't help but be nice to everyone. It might even have an affect with how he views Ina, but that wasn't likely to happen.

((grrrr....hehe.... xd ))

Young Asegi smirked and shook his shaggy head,

"No way, I can do it, lets go find them now!"

Asegi was greatly excited. He hoped that Asa and Tsi was there, he had only been away from the two for a few hours at the least but already missed them terribly. He purred as he brushed across his fathers leg and bounded to the front, towards the scent of the Sky Clan. He could barely contain his excitement, one could see it in his steps. He turned around and smiled up at his father, waiting for him at catch up.

The cub watched as Asa disappeared, happy to see her go. She knew there was more between Asa and Aya than what needed, but still being a cub, she was unaware of the level of their relationship. The cub just felt like something was off; and she didn't like it, though her face didn't show her true feelings. Turning back to her father, Uhi's big cub eyes were filled with innocence as she peered up at him. She shook her head at his question. "No.. Where's that? Are there stars there?"

Asa'nunu spotted Asegi, slowing to a gentle lope as she came closer, stopping just in the path of her bounding son. "Hello Asegi," she murmured, and anyone would be able to tell she was trying her hardest to be nice to him. The young lioness had never really had a mind for cubs, as her own childhood had been stolen from her in the Long Journey.

"U'yosi, there is going to be a meeting in the Star Grove soon. Have you seen Tsi'lihu?" Asa had lost track of her daughter in seeing Aya, and now glanced around for the little white femme. She hadn't cared earlier in her surge of emotions, but now she was calmer. If Tsi was lost, along with her would go half hope of the Wolf Clan.

Aya laughed quietly, "Of course there are stars up there Uhi, there are stars everywhere, you can never escape them. Star Grove is close to the mountains we crossed over, long ago, before you were born." He pointed a paw in the direction they would be traveling. "See its way over there, it might take some time to get there though. You up for it?" He smiled dimly at his daughter. She was bright and perhaps could someday possess the powers of the spirits. He might have to decide someday, training one takes some time, and it was no easy task. He turned to stare in the direction of Star Grove, maybe at this meeting more of the clans would listen to his ideas. There was a good chance they wouldn't. They were all to worried about keeping their own behinds safe. He shrugged, some day something must happen, it was inevitable.

((Hehehe....inevitable...*dresses Aya up in Matrix garb*))
