((I'm gunna make Nimbus a teen in this one and then I'll make him adult when we timeskip next ^^))
Santos trotted into the cave happily after finishing his rounds about the pride. He bowed his head to his queen, Karonous, and the cubs. but as he did so the smell of blood filled his nostrels. Shooting a concerned look at Adia he ran to the back of the cave to where the scent came from. What he saw when he found the cause of the blood made him smile. Naida and three new cubs.
Nimbus had justgrown into a teen and was helping his dad outaround the pride. Following Santos into the cave he too noticed the smell. Insted of going after his father though he just stared at his mom and sibling with a confused expression. "What's going on?"
Arsenic sat on a rock and watched as his dad shot off to find Naida. He had a feeling he knew what was going on. He smiled at Nimbus as if he didn't and shrugged though. "I have a feeling we'll find out very soon."

Adia stayed put as Santos ran past her in alarm. A small smile appeared on her face and she turned her head to Kaorunos. "Follow him. It's something you want to see." Adia said and her smile grew and her eyes filled with a knowing that almost made her look wise. After a moment Adia turned her head to Nimbus. Everytime she looked at him he seemed to change but in a good way that sent her heart flying to see her oldest son growing. "You will see in a moment. Let's let Kaorunos see first."

Karounos nodded curiously at Adia, and followed his king into the cave. the scent of blood assulted his sense of smell, and only one thought came to mind: cubs. (They wouldn't be excited for naida ot be dead, he figured, so that was the only solution.)
He padded close to her sleeping form and smiled down at her. He wanted ot nuzzle her so badly, but thought it best not to wake her...

As if on cue, or perhaps because she smelled her mate's presence, Naida sleeply awoke and looked up. Smiling, she whispered, "You're a daddy," before nuzzling Karounos sofly and settling back down to sleep, this time deeply. She had no worries she'd be in danger anymore with everyone else around, especially her one and only love.
((if you guys wanna do a time skip at this point, I'd so go ahead xd ))

((*waves a paw, timeskipping!*))
Karounos gave a hefty yawn against the starry sky. Oh, how he wished to be back in the cave, asleep with his cubs and mate. But alas, he was on night watch, and not allowed to sleep...
Nomis was curled in a croner ofthe cave near her mother and siblings, but still seperated. She was the youngest of the litter, and also the quietest. She contrasted her brother most.
With a small yawn-yowl, she snuggled her face into her tail feathers, desperately trying to doze off and defeat her insomnia.

Santos awoke in the middle of the night and looked over his family once with a loving smile before gently getting up, trying not to wake Adia or the cubs, and heading towards the entrance of the gave. He tapped Karonous' shoulder and sat down next to him. "Go sleep withyour family, I'll take care of this shift. You surely must wish to be with them," he smiled at the new father and then stared at the stars.
Nimbus slept just inside the cave near the entrance. He had grown again, now his mane was fully grown out and he had become quite large. He twitched and woke up with a deep frown. Whatever he had dreamed obviously upset him. He didn't get up, or move at all for thatmatter, he just satthere and staredinto the deepening darkness of the cave.
Arsenic was curled up by his mother resting happily. He shifted slightly when he dad moved away but other than that he stayed perfectly still, snoring softly.

Karounos smiled at Santos, grateful for his offer, "Ah, ya read me even in yer sleep... Thank you." He stood and bowed, then quietly padded into the cave, settling himself down next to Nomis on his one side, and the rest of his family on the other. He nuzzled Naida before resting his head on his paws to sleep.
Nomis cocked her head as her father came and laid next ho her. After waiting to see if he was asleep, she crawled over his paws and under the crook of his neck, settling under his mane.

Naida lifted her head when she heard the footsteps of her mate approach, and watched him lay down with Nomis on one side, and nuzzled him as he nuzzled her. Quietly, she shifted her body slightly and entwined her tail with his, fell back asleep purring.
Yukio lay on his back with his head on Sienna, using her as a pillow, and his mom as a footrest. Soft snores could be heard from both, and neither awoke when their father came to sleep beside them...though Sienna did follow her sister's idea, when she awoke a little later to climb up her daddy and curl up in his warm mane. Yukio, as usual, remained oblivious and snoring.

Nomis nuzzled her ister as she joined her. sleep still wouldn't come, but she was mostly unbothered by it. The stars she could see from the cave entrance extranced her.
After watching them for awhile, the sun slowly crept into the sky, and the birds sang with its arrival. Carefully, Nomis crawled out of the jungle of a mane and padded toward the entrance. Had she fallen asleep at all during the night? Maybe for a little while, since the sunrise seemed to come quickly. But it couldn't have been for longer than a few flaps of a bird's wing.

It was near dawn when Naida awoke, but still...she kept her eyes closed enjoying the chance to be lazy. With three cubs, that didn't seem to come all that often. She started to yawn, when the scratch of cubby claws on the floor of the den made her open one eye slightly to see who it was, suspecting perhaps it was merely Yukio rolling over. Instead, it was Nomis, making her way to the cave entrance.
With her eye half open, she watched her youngest daughter, and smiled. So quiet...so gentle...sometimes she wondered if she was really supossed to be Arsenic's sister, since they were so much alike in that regard, and so unlike her brother and sister with they're playful getting-into-trouble attitudes. Chuckling softly to herself, she nudged Yukio closer to his father and nuzzled Karounos softly before getting up to walk towards Nomis. Nuzzling her daughter, Naida lay down beside Nomis without a word. It was a time to bond, to share a quiet morning together before the duties of the day needed to be carried out, and the other cubs and lions awoke....
((*waves paw and time passes till it is that evening....*))
Naida trotted up through the lands of the Pride, with the cubs on her back. It was early evening, the sun was just starting to set and tinge the sky with red. It seemed so long ago that she had shared a quiet moment with Nomis as they greeted the day.
As Nomis had decided she wanted to hang out with her father, and Yukio had wanted to play with Daveigh, it had been Naida's idea to take Sienna out on an outing alone, knowing it would do good for her middle cub to get away from her older brother (as Sienna was starting to get a little jealous of Yukio spending so much time with Daveigh instead of with his sister like he used to) for awhile, and perhaps work on her swimming lessons. Whether or not she would actually turn out to be a water cub was yet to be seen, but the knowledge was good to have....just in case, and besides Sienna loved the water.
Naida decided the day had been a good one as she finally spied the cave in the distance. Her daughter had found herself a new friend, and Santos's pride was going to grow with the addition of another member. Albeit a cub, but still, he was young, he had excellent manners, and would turn into a great and proud lion. "Welcome to the lands of the Rose Petal Pride, Aquos...ahead is the den, and it is there that we will await the return of the pride. It should not be long now, as the day is nearly to a close."

The white and teal cub jumped off of Naida's back. "Thank you for caring me her." he said to her, bowing his head. Aquos streched his legs out and yawned, but still kep his half asleep look and soft tone to his voice. He looked around at his new pride..Or he hoped to be his new pride. He awaited Sienna's desent from her mother's back. "I hope I will be accepted into the pride. I still need the kings and queens aprovel...I look forward to meeting the pride aswell." he explained to Sienna.

Nomis sat on the edge of a small cliff, overlooking a quiet, forgotten oasis deep within their pride borders. He father had needed to scout, and left her to explore, as long as she didn't leave the lands.
Was there any need to, though? With a place as beautiful and secluded as this, she almost lef the pride without leaving it. Nomis descended the gentle cliff, her eyes alight with quiet excitement as she neared the oasis.
When she made her way through the small ring of trees surrounding the pond, she found herself staring into a clear and glassy lake - it was bigger than it had appeared before - surrounded by myriad birds, rabbits, and even a small herd of antelope.
As she approached the drinking beasts, they didn't flinch at her presense. In fact, those without their heads bowed ot the water bowed slightly to her. She bowed back in greeting to them, and knelt next to the pool for a drink.
Just then, it seemed as if this magical place had created a bond between her and the creatures that inhabited it. It gave her the fresh, clam feeling that spending the sunrise with her mother had given her, and brought a smile to her lips as she plunged into the water, padding her feet in merriment of the clean, cool water. She had found a quiet paradise away form her family and pride. A place of her own.
Karounos stalked around the borders of the lands, making sure no unwanted lions were attempted to trespass. It seemed that as their cubs got older, they wanted to spend less time with their parents. Though, it had been he who had left Nomis, and Naida was with Sienna... os perhaps that asn't quite true. Still, he felt a sense of lonliness surround him as he thought of slowly growing distant fomr his cubs...

((*Is going to wait until next time skip to grow Daveigh into her teen stage*))
Adia walked slowly through the grasses towards the middle of the prides lands. She sighed as she moved at what seemed almost like a bored pace. Without a cub to follow her around it seemed almost boring patroling the lands now. Arsenic was off with his father who insisted on training him to be a king and someday take his place as king and now Daveigh wanted to play with Yukio more than be with her. It saddened her to see her cubs growing up so quickly but it was to be expected. They couldn't be cubs forever.
Daveigh bounded through the grass and weaved around the scattered trees of the current area of the pride she wandered. At the current she was in search for Yukio in their game of hide and seek and she was the seeker.

Her breathing was ragged, sweat trickled down her brow. The lioness had traveled far. Even though she was grown, she was yet used to her adult body, and her endurance was poor. Her ears twitched gently as she came to the boarder of the pride. She stared at it for a moment before letting out a loud roar. It was an unusual roar for a lioness...not ment for one at all. More of a male's roar that held a hint of feminity to it. It seemed to travel to the ears of one lion only...Nimbus. Finishing her roar, she looked around for a place to hide. She wanted to surprise her friend. Finding some tall grasses, she sunk low, her coat fitting in nicely with her surroundings. Now all she had to do was wait...

Yukio giggled as he watched Daveigh walk right by where he was hidden on a branch about a quarter of the way up the tree. He put a paw over his mouth, hoping to smother the sound...
Sienna hopped down from off her mother as Naida lay near the cave entrance to watch for the other members of the pride. "You'll be fine!" she declared as she wasted no time to pounce on one of his ears.
