Or cut off a thief's hand for stealing his possessions" stare
"Brother? TT.TT" Knocking his chair over when he stood up as abruptly as he did, Faust stares directly behind Riven, biggrin "Ziggy eek ? By the gods, is this really you and not another figment sent to test me? crying " biggrin

Laughing nervously, she hid her hands behind her.
"It was a joke, I swear. sweatdrop "
Kyte and Sunset stand up and move between the newcomer and their cousin.
"And she is Riven, our cousin who we would die protecting."
"She is a Rogue, but that doesn't mean we will let you harm her."

biggrin "Yes, Dimitri speaks nothing but kindness about his friend Kyte, I'm sure we can trust her." biggrin Even though Faust is smiling, his eyes are filled with tear at the sight of his brother. He lives! He's alive! My brother is alive! crying Reaching to a glass of water Faust takes off his glasses and splashes a bit of water on his face then starts to drink a bit.
stare "...I see you've grown up Dimitri. *smirking* Have you outgrown giving you brother a hug." stare Immediately Dimitri dives into his brother's outstretch arm, "Oof, careful there Little One."

I continued to smile as I sat down as well, looking at Nerezza "Even had you been paying attention, you would not have gotten my name, for I have not yet given it. I go by Blaise, though I have no family name, as I was born into slavery. My birth name is long forgotten to me. I grew up in the harsh desert's of Anauroch, though for the last few years I have been living a nomadic life, going from place to place, staying far from there. But, my exploits of are no importance, I would much rather hear of yours." I pull out more gold, count it, and then ask the barmaid to keep the ale coming, then turn and look back at Nerezza, ready to listen intently.

Sensing bloodlust and hearing a faint sound that fills him with dread, Faust puts himself between his brother and his new friends, biggrin "Please brother! There is no need for violence here. Though I have not known them for long. Dimitri is friends with Kyte and that is enough for me to trust them." biggrin
Glaring at Riven, then looking quickly away, stare "I was just joking, I swear twisted ! Here, let me go get some ale for our newfound friends after which I'll apologize and introduce myself." stare Ziggy turns and walks to the bar.
Slumping into his chair Faust just continues to look at the back of Ziggy, seeing his brother's fear Dimitri takes a seat next to him. Under the pretense of wiping his face with his robes he whispers to him. "Are you alright sweatdrop ?"
Pretending to be praying with his head down, biggrin "Yes, I'm fine. sweatdrop " biggrin
"You know, I heard it too. Just like you I'll never forget it. But I heard that all of them were either destroyed or lost and the creator of them died a few months back. Well, any who. I'm really glad you were the one to talk to him. If it was me, I would've panic and say the first thing to stop them xp ."
biggrin "What would that have been?" biggrin
" redface She'd hate me, but I would have said that Kyte is the mother of my child redface ...." The last part a bare whisper. "He probably hear Riven's name but since Kyte has a twin, he wouldn't attack either one in fear of harming her and me swearing vengence on him."

biggrin "And people use to say you weren't capable of tactical thinking." biggrin This time addressing to the elves in front of him, biggrin "Please ladies, no need for you weapons. I feel that, as the eldest sibling, I must appologize for my younger brother's behavior. Please for give him, he means no harm. biggrin "

They released their weapons, but stayed tense. Kyte and Sunset sat down on either side of Riven, one or the other glancing behind them every few seconds.
"He was mocking me." Riven said, tensing even more.
"Don't worry about it."
Noticing the way Dimitri and Faust sat, Kyte said, "Are you two OK?"

One adjusted his ruby glasses and tighten the string on his ponuytail, while the other fixed his cowl and his hood. "Of course we are."
biggrin "Of course we are." biggrin Both looking at each other, and letting out a laugh. "I'm sorry if seemed anything other than worry."
biggrin "Yes, even though he may not at it, Ziggy is a wonderful person." biggrin
"I just hope he remembers that I can't drink and that you swore off drinking."
biggrin "He's our brother, of course he didn't forget sweatdrop . I just more worried about him telling our family name to strangers, and then start another incident." biggrin
At that moment, stare "Something tells me I'm forgetting something. *shrugs *Oh well, you serving wench! Tell you you bartender that the brothers Fate would like six ales!" stare

Then they were confused.

"We don't really remember."
"We know we grew up without parents, and that we found Riven later,......"
".....but the earliest memory we have is when we were 10 on the streets."
"We decided to become Rangers 5 years later, and split up to try to find something of our past."
"I didn't see the point and stayed in town, later leaving, to become a Rogue. You know, there are more jobs for Thieves than you would think."
(they are pointedly ignoring the last couple comments stare )

biggrin "Ah, then we are alike then. I have no doubt that Dimitri here once talked of our past. Let's see, chances were he made no mention of Ziggy nor my name but on ambigously named us Big Bro. But talked highly of him, yes? Made no mention of either our parents and spoke a bit of being raised in a monestary and that before we part I brought to him Brendon, am I correct?" biggrin
"Oh you poor thing you crying !" With that, Dimitri reaches over an gives Kyte a particial hug and pats her head.
(Faust couldn't care less, it's their choice to share, Ziggy is to far to hear, and Dimitri is just blissfully ignorant.)
