[Oh. xD;;]
"K," Kana nodded, watching as Kazan dashed off and returned with her bag. "Oh, thank you!" she exclaimed, wondering how their bags even got here. She quickly changed into an oversized, white t-shirt with long black pajama pants and set her bag down beside the bed. She draped the clothing she'd just taken off carefully over it, not wanting to ruin it, and then laid herself down on the bed. She didn't climb under the covers just yet though, feeling way too restless to sleep. She made up her mind then that she was going to go exploring. She couldn't fight the urge any longer. She rolled onto her side, wincing slightly as she pressed the aching wound there, and watched Kazan until she was sure the girl was alseep.
Then Kana closed her eyes, and a second later a small black cat with bright blue eyes was lying in her place. The cat leapt soundlessly to the floor and crossed to the door. She stretched up with her paws, catching hold of the handle and turning it to let herself outside. Then she nudged the door quietly back closed and stared down the hall, keeping in the shadows since she knew she'd blend in. She sniffed the air, making sure she'd know how to get back, but in doing so, also caught the scent of salty air. A beach? she thought curiously to herself and then crept off in that direction. She followed quickly, though suddenly froze as she saw someone standing by a railing, but she soon discovered it was Koichi.
She blinked, head tilting slightly as she considered what she could do. She decided to just hope he wouldn't recognize her. Did he know she could turn into a cat? She couldn't remember if she'd told him. But she did know that the last time she did this to someone, he hadn't recognized her until she'd revealed herself. So she slowly decided to creep forward, keeping against the wall in the shadows, until she reached the very corner of the railing and stuck her head through to see. Her eyes widened slightly as she stared down at the rocks below.

Koichi's head moved slightly, seeing something out of the corner of his eyes. He didn't know it was Kana, but that was okay; he wouldn't be able to read his mind, either. "Hey there, Kitty," he said softly, crouching down and holding out a hand for her to sniff; cats were prone to doing that, right? He wasn't wearing anything on his feet, and was only dressed in a black muscle shirt with some flannel black-white checkered pants. He looked down at the kitten and smiled, hoping it wouldn't back away from him or anything.

Kana jumped, hearing him call her kitty. But after a moment, she realized he didn't recognize her. Otherwise, he wouldn't be acting like this, right? She blinked at him, and decided to play the part of a regular cat for now. She crept towards him slowly and finally reached his hand. She sniffed at it, then nosed it gently before rubbing her head against it. Being in her cat form made her more prone to follow her instincts as well, and she definitely loved being pet, or rubbing against things, though she was embarassed to admit it. She actualy began purring now, unable to stop herself. If she wasn't in this form, her face would have been near crimson.

Koichi smiled, petting her as she brushed against his hand. After a moment, he picked her up and held her in his arms, keeping her close to his chest. He smiled down at it before glancing back at the sea. "You remind me of another Kitty-chan I know," he admited, chuckling softly. "Now, don't go plan on jumping into that, okay?" he asked of her, pointing to the sea before returning his hand to hold her close.

Kana's back arched as he pet her, but her eyes widened slightly as she felt herself being lifted. Once she was up though, she couldn't help peering over his arms to the sea below, placing on paw on his arm as she leaned forward. Her ears tilted as she spoke and she turned to look at him. She could only assume that the other 'kitty-chan' she reminded him of, was actually herself. Then she bobbed her head up and down to show she understood the warning before she could stop herself. She quickly lowered her head after, hoping he wouldn't think it strange that she'd done that. She didn't want to be discovered, but she hoped he wouldn't get mad if she was.

[ohhh can i tell the kitty he might like her? xD]
"You're a smart kitty, aren't you?" Koichi asked her softly, kissing her gently on the head, between the ears; he woulda done that, even if she'd been a stray. "What's wrong, eh? You trying to tell me I'm ugly?" he joked, still gently scratching her side, although more towards the back. Another breeze slowly rolled in, carrying the strong smell of salt water, and blowing his clothes and hair behind him slightly.
[i feel like the posts are short now, since they've been longer lately xDDDD]

[I was kind of wondering if you would. xD I wouldn't mind it. <3]
Kana blinked as he kissed her, and then looked sharply back at him. "Mew?" she said softly, tilting her head. She wanted to yell out 'no' at the ugly question, but she'd have to transform back in order to do that, and she really did not wish to be found out. Instead she continued purring as he scratched her. It felt wonderful, and she honestly hadn't let anyone in a very long time, since she found it very embarassing. As the wind seemed to pick up for a moment, she placed her face against his arm, eyes closing and tail curling into her side. She lifted her head for a moment to sneeze from all the salt in the air, and then gently pawed at her nose, eye still shut.

Koichi chuckled. "Bless you, Kitty," he smiled. He looked at her for a moment, then sighed to himself before looking back out at the sea. "If I told you something, Kitty, would you promise not to laugh and go telling all your kitty friends?" he asked her gently, still looking out at the sea. There was so much he wanted to tell people, but there was no way he could; instead he kept things bottled up in his head for only the voice to talk and shout back to him. He wondered, though, if the kitten he held in his arms would listen.

Kana placed her paw back on his arm and away from her nose as she looked back up at him. She blinked as he spoke though, forcing her eyes not to widen like they wished to. Instead she just continued staring at him, then bobbed her head up and down one time to signal she agreed. She felt really guilty, having him talk to her without knowing that it was her, but at the same time, she was much to curious to run away, especially now. She needed to know what it was he was going to say. She was a little hurt though, since she'd found from experience that people tended to tell her things when she was a cat instead of when she was in her normal form. Maybe it was because animals wouldn't laugh or make fun of you for what you say. But, that also meant they couldn't give advice based on what they're told. Kana tilted her head as she watched him, blinking a couple times.

[ack. I tell you, then i have to go eat lunch xD i think i have to make it, though, so i'll be back and forth]
Koichi grinned slightly, feeling her head nodding. He didn't quite know how to say this, but since he knew the kitten wouldn't laugh, or at least shun him in some way, that he could put it anyway and it wouldn't matter. "There's this small feeling inside me... when i'm with that friend I told you about earlier. I know I asked her to be my sister, but I want so much more now. I mean... I tell myself over and over that I'm her brother, and that I should be nothing more... that when I kissed her, it was for the sake of showing her what could happen... but I can't help but feel I want so much more..." he started, pausing in between every now and then. It was difficult to say, even if it was a cat, since he knew he didn't want to admit he like his sister; he felt like he was betraying himself in a way that not even he knew.

[Haha, k. I haven't eaten anything today, now that you mention it. xP]
Kana continued watching him, head tilting even more as she listened. Her ears perked as he began, and this time her eyes did widen and she couldn't help it. She certainly hadn't expected whatever he was about to say to be about her. She didn't really know what she had expected, but it certainly wasn't that. She stared at him for a moment longer, blue eyes still wide. But then she realized the greatest chance she had of being recognized was by her eyes, the only thing that didn't really change. She meowed softly, almost questioningly, as she set her head back down on his arm. She was trying her best not to do something to give herself away, despite how surprised she was. Now that he'd begun, she couldn't help wanting to hear move, especially since it concerned her.

Koichi smiled as he heard the cat mew. "Thanks for not judging me, I guess," he said softly, petting her ear with his pointer finger very gently. "It's nice to talk to you, Kitty. I don't know why, but I think you understand me... too bad I can't talk cat, though," he laughed quietly. He paused for a moment and shook his head. "So then, Kitty, can you tell me where you came from? Or at least what you're doing here," he asked her gently, wondering if she was a stray or one of the families owned her.

Kana closed her eyes for a moment, processing what he'd said. Though, as he pet her ear, she couldn't help purring again, deep in her throat. She felt really relaxed, but also confused and guilty at the same time. It was an odd combination. She peeked one eye open at him as he asked where she was from, and decided against shaking her head. That might seem even odder than when she'd nodded earlier. Instead she just watched him for a moment, tail flicking gently against her side. Was now a good time to head back? She wasn't sure, but she didn't want him to turn her over to anyone. So she meowed softly, but didn't try to scramble away or anything. She found she didn't really want to leave just yet... Though, her mind was spinning and she wasn't sure if she was thinking straight either.

"Come now, you hvae to be from somewhere, right?" Koichi pressed on, his voice still calm. "Well, then, I can't let you just roam around all night, can I?" he smled, "If your owners miss you, they can find you again in the morning, right? But if you don't have a place to sleep for the night, Kitty, you're more than welcome to share my room," he said, assuring her it was alright. He was still gently petting her, not wanting to hurt her in anyway, as he continued to lean against he rail, although he'd moved over so his back could lean against a colomn, too.

Kana's head jerked up suddenly as he mentioned she could stay in his room. She stared at him, eyes wide again until she forced herself to calm down. She knew her heart must be beating extremely fast against his arms as he held her, though she hoped he'd assume she was just afraid or something. She meowed softly again, and raised herself up on her front paws, looking around. Now would probably be a good time to leave. She didn't want to risk getting stuck in his room and then not being able to get back to hers before Kazan woke up. But at the same time, she wasn't completely against the idea either... She froze at the thought and quickly shook her head, shutting her eyes. She didn't know what to do!
