Miika glanced over his shoulder, only to notice that Maybe didn't hear or see anything, he was too busy working with the cat. Giving a little smirk, he turned back to Koji and nodded softly before he rubbed the back of his neck, sitting down in a chair next to his window as he poured himself some white wine.
"I suppose you should get back to your studies, Koji... You've still so much to learn."
Miika thought for a few moments before he nodded to himself. After Maybe finished up with getting Ryland to come out and be social, he would erase the cat's mind, if that was what he still wanted. As for Enyalius... well, Enyalius basically belonged to Maybe more-so than himself. True, he bit Enyalius, but Maybe was his Sire, and got first pick of those in his home. Enyalius seemed more like Maybe's type than Koji or Ryland, so he was sure who his Sire would pick.

Koji smiled before exiting the room and walked back into the library. Picking up one of the vampire books he walked out and back into Miika's room. He plopped himself down on the bed and sat indian style with the book on his lap. Opening it up he looked over at the silent Miika. "I decided to study in here instead of leaving you alone." He then looked down at the book reading some of the lines a bit.
Continueing to read he scratched his head a bit and wiggled his coon tail around. "Hmm so Maybe is your childe then. He doesn't seem like that bad of a vampire." He said to Miika not lifting his eyes from the book. He didn't know that Miika was actually Maybe's childe.

Not really knowing what to do, Enyalius walked into the library and browsed the shelves. Choosing a historical work on the decline of nobility in the late middle ages, he took a seat in a chair near the window and cracked the book. He could hear Miika and Koji talking in the next room, but is too polite to evesdrop on them, despite his curiosity.

Maybe had finally coaxed Ryland out into the open and had been talking quietly with him until he came to the full conclusion of the cat's problem, in which he had already known before being told. Nodding his head again, he smiled softly before recieving the feline's permission to bite him. In doing so, he gifted the cat with an enormous amount of pleasure to cover up the fact that he was erasing his memory. Once he had done so, he walked into the library and smiled at Enyalius, reaching up a hand to wipe blood from his lips as he smiled.
"Enyalius, would you be a dear and help me carry Ryland's body away from the house? When he wakes up I don't want him to be here, I erased his memory and he needs to be as far from here as possible."
"That's because I'm the bad one. I told a little white lie because I thought that I had been abandoned, that I was left on my own."
Miika fell silent for a few moments before he stood up and stretched, shaking his head just a little bit as if he was trying to work out the details himself. What he was really trying to work out was how he could explain the truth using the smallest amount of words as possible. Finally he gave a small shrug and walked over to the large bay window, looking outside before he grabbed a handle, pushing one side of the window as it swung open like a door. He looked back at Koji and smirked.
"Truth be told, I'm the childe and he is my Sire."
He said flatly before he stepped out onto the deck, closing the windowed door behind him.

Koji sighed after hearing him. He seen him close the door behind him and knew it was best not to disturb him so he ignored it. "Oh well we all make mistakes." He said to himself since Miika wasn't in the room with him. Shutting his book he stretched out on the bed a bit looking up to the ceiling. He thought about all the events and wondered if maybe he could just leave and never see any of these anthro's again. He was being a little morbid right now as he thought of different things, so these thoughts ran through his mind quite frequently.

Miika stood outside for a little bit before he walked back in, his tail flicking behind him as he pointed a finger at Koji. He spoke in a rush and stumbled over many words, some of them running together.
"Ijustwantedyoutoknow... That's the o-only thing I liedabouttoyou. Okay?"
Miika put a hand on his hip and then put it on his forehead, as if he was trying to calm himself down, or as if he was feeling embarrassed about something. He finally put his hands on his hips and let out a long sigh, biting his lower lip as he looked down towards the ground. Man, he couldn't stand telling someone he lied. He trusted Koji, and Koji did guard him while he slept, and said he'd be happy to guard his sleep anytime, so the fact he lied about that little situation made him feel horrible, and it was rather apparent which was odd since usually he was unreadable.
"I..." He sighed heavily. "... I'm not sorry I lied, I'm only sorry if I hurt you."

Koji continued to look at the ceiling after hearing the vampire's words. "Hmmm okay." He said in a montone voice trying not to let his emotions out. He of course was only faking all this to try and play around with Miika, but he couldn't keep it up for long.
Sitting up he narrowed his eyes slightly to Miika as he got up off the bed. In an instant his face broke into a smile before he hugged Miika. "It's alright. Everyone lies and everyone makes mistakes. We just have to learn from them." He said to the vampire as he broke the hug and pounced back onto Miika's bed. He laid out like he was before and looked at the ceiling again. This coon could be very unpredictable at times.

Enyalius stood up, neatly folding the book closed and replacing it where he found it. "Certainly, Maybe." He walks into the other room, taking a moment to touch his hand to the side of Ryland's neck and feel his pulse.
"I would assume you erased his memories? That seems the best possible scenario for everyone concerned, he did not seem to handle the stress well." He pauses for a moment, shaking his head. "There I go again, analyzing instead of feeling. This is quite a new expereince for me, until I met Miika, I thought vampires were only a myth, or perhaps a race long dead." He shakes his head again. "How easily our 'facts' are revealed to be falacies."
With a gentle movement, he lifts Ryland onto his back in a fireman's carry and looks at Maybe. "Where do you wish to place him? Somewhere that he can find help would be preferable, he does not seem a bad sort."

OOC: First, 'Miika's' real name is on the loose: Mikkael Du'Coudrae. So from now on, feel free to refer to him as Mikkael, since it is indeed, his real name. Miika was a name he stole from a demon in which he truely despises. >>;
Many, many, MANY nights later... Maybe and his right-hand demon got together for a discussion... little did they know a little feline would be visiting..

Maybe sat in the library, his tail flicking around behind him as his eyes scanned the pages of a very old book. In his hand he held a wine glass, with white wine in it instead of blood... for once. Sighing softly as he tucked strands of his red hair behind his ear, he lifted his green eyes to glance about. Four hours and still no sign of his right-hand demon. What kind of right-hand anything was that? It was very improper to be late when an important matter needed to be discussed... Well, perhaps not that important. It was only about a little feline named Enyalius. He had sent Jaukk a few letters explaining why they needed the cat, but the demon didn't seem too thrilled.
Silly, silly demon. What good was he if he never showed up on time? Maybe's patience was starting to wear thin, causing him to rub his temples gently as his emerald orbs glanced towards the clock before turning back to the book in which he was so intently focused on. Growing tired of the little testing of his patience that he knew Jaukk was pulling, he closed the book and put it on the small en-table beside him as he took another sip of wine.

A demon with mussed purple hair slowly merged from the darkness and leaned against the door frame, crossing one leg over the other as he shoved his hands in his pockets. His mouth was half stitched and he had one eye stitched firmly shut, the other eye was wide open and gold. Sighing rather heavily, his wings twitched as he stepped into the room and leaned back against a wall, leaning his body out so he wouldn't exactly crush his wings. "Been waiting long, Maybe? You seem impatient." He said rather sarcastically, and cruelly as well.
