Amber_SWD LigerZeroSnyder Amber_SWD Although Quistis had a badass cutscene when exiting Dollet, she did not have the character support in the game. Selphie too but she did have a part where she was a leader and she went to visit Trabia. When Quistis takes Squall to the secret area in The training Center, what went through my head was "oh god this is too long" lol The secret area was her character development, which more or less ends there. I couldn't quite take that scene seriously. Gotta laugh at the "go talk to a wall" bit though. But then again, Squall then was just a little bit higher than a wall, I suppose. XD then again also she plays a part with seifer. She is around the same age as squall and seifer and also grew up with them. She tried to be a leader but it failed. True, she seems to get her emotions too mixed up into things, but than again like you said she's still young and trying to guide people her own age. It's a bit of a shame. On that note, I would have liked to know how her relationship with Seifer was compared to her relationship with Squall. It was kind of vague.

Plus the dream sequences always casting him as Laguna.

Funny when Kiros, Laguna and Ward are in the Ragnarok Kiros tells squall you look like your mother" and then says afterwards "good thing you don't look like your father".

Rinoa is my least favorite character, but Irvine is a close second. I always thought that Quistis and Squall should have gotten together. ^_^

I hated Quistis. She was the only character I didn't like, too. She bothered me because she was just so annoying. Like always trying to get with Squall and then saying later that it was her protective instinct. wtf? She never was suited to be an instructor and it's fine to be emotional sometimes, but she went way over the limit. The only thing I ever liked about her at all was her hair. xd

Now, Rinoa is definitely my least favorite. But here's why, she tried to get too involved and didn't have much of a back story that anyone could associate with.
If she stayed out of the way and didn't battle.. EVER, then it would have been fine. She could have been Squall's little squeeze on the side when keeping up appearances with the rest of the party. 3nodding
But what did she do? Always showed up when not in the party, and always got into some predicament that we had to yank her out of. The parade in Deling City, the hanging from a ledge in Balamb Garden, the appearance in Galbadia Garden after you defeated Edea... b***h, just sit in your train and be quiet. scream

rofl @ TVA. I admit, that got a bit annoying.
My least favorite was always Zell. He sucks as a magic user. I don't really like Duel, since on most fighting games, I'm a button-masher and not that quick about it.
Besides, he is a Chicken Wuss, a big mouth, and he's a huge whiner. lol

I so disagree with all of that(except for the rofl @ TVA)
With the right junctions(that I figured out and put on him), I had him drawing magic better and doing more damage in the beginning than Squall or Quistis was. Plus Duel works wonders in many ways, even without finding and reading all the magazines. Armageddon Rush was usually all one needed.
In addition, how much easier was it to get to the bottom of the Deep Sea Research facility with Zell? Plus, how would you have gotten out of the D-District prison without him? He was the star at that point. 3nodding

That's because he blurted out they were from Garden. He had to make it up to them somehow. And besides, he was the only one they couldn't really take his weapons away.
But, I still hated having him in my party. 3nodding

Even if he didn't say anything about Garden, the party still got captured and he got them out of that mess. In addition to not being able to take his weapons away, he also piloted the crane that brought the rest of the party to the top. 3nodding

I wholeheartedly believe that those two should be together. Quistis understands Squall the way he is and admires that, while Rinoa doesn't understand Squall so she goes and tries to change him. That's a horrible way to go about it....
