Heck yes! You know they are just going to butcher it so much because of its length and also, it humanly impossible to find a guy to play Edward, or any of the characters for that matter.
But I'd go see it, I can't resist.

I 100% agree with you.
Twilight should never, ever, ever be made into a movie. Ever.
Firstly, if I watch that damn movie (which I probably will out of obsession and curiosity of the looks of the characters) I'll most likely read the book again, and lose my image of all of the characters, which will be replaced by the actors! GAHHH! THAT SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN. I'm NOT losing my image of Edward! I'll put my life on the line. If my imagination makes my image of Edward demented in any kind of way because of the movie I will kill the film so no one in my area will see it! >: D
Second, it will never feel the same. Never. Sometimes I prefer the books version over the movie version. You will feel it better in your own way with your own imagination.
Third, what if the Cullens are UGLY when they're supposed to be beautiful?!
Fourth, if Danielle Panabaker or anyone else other than Emily Browning in playing Bella, I'm not watching. The best Bella I've seen is Emily Browning. If she's not it, I'm not watching it. Also with Edward. No offence to Henry Cavill fans, but I don't see any resemblance. And I don't think he's very good-looking in an Edward kind of way. If Gaspard Ulliel is not Edward, I'm not watching it.
I'm quite the picky one now, aren't I?

While i'm scared of them messing the storyline up, i'd still see it out of curiousity. Everyone has their own vision of how the characters look, that's why I don't honestly think it's the best idea in the world.

if they make twilight into a movie it would have to have SUPERB casting, not much publicity, and an independant movie. thats the only way i could allow it.

i agree that the book should NOT be made into a movie...not yet at least...i want to be completely done with the series before it comes out....even before the trailers come out. it would just ruin it for me. The characters will just jump in my head when i read it. I DON'T WANT THAT!!!
it happened to me before....the sisterhood of the traveling pants? anyone see it? well....it completely deviated from the books, and I could never read the book the same ever again. I could only see the actors in my head when i tried to read it. I actually stopped reading it.....

They will most likely butcher that perfection of the book, but I believe that the inevitability of Twilight being turned into a movie was kinda obvious after seeing the fanbase enormity from the books release.
In lamen's terms meaning that it couldn't be avoided. So I can accept that they made a movie, with those hollywood block-heads seeing the amount of money they KNOW will be raked in when a movie is made. They are somehow smart enough to realize that even those people who are vehemently against the book being turned into a movie will probably go see it, just so they can complain against it's faults.
On a final note, don't ezpect Stephenie's word to be taken very seriously. She may be the author, but the Hollywood bozo's won't realize that her word really is law (Ex. Harry Potter). So be prepared for the worst haha.
