The man doesn't even flinch at Trei's feint, which means he's seen straight through it... So then, time to play it up.

Using his own kick, with his left arm as a pivot point, Trei spins a complete one-hundred and eighty degrees as the man takes to the air...even as the man's right leg snaps out to kick, it will meet only the back of Trei's shoulder as helunges forward in a tackle, his hands held under his chest in a modified boxer stance.

The man was fast, the man was strong, and the man was reading him like a book. In the back of his mind, a movie plays out; every action he'd seen from his opponent, in beautiful stick-figure animation. There has to be a way...

::Though still in the air, Trei moves in quickly after Deity's first kick, aiming to tackle him to the ground. A maneuver not seen by the Orinian often these days, and a bit of a surprise, at that. As he sees the boy lunging forth, he pulls his right foot back in as planned, the relaxed angle of his elbows showing that his arms are simply hanging by their thumbs in his pockets.

Fortunately for Deity, he has already planned for such a counterattack, prepared to strike quickly should Trei remain in range and ready to pull a counter himself. Should one be able to sense it, a rapid spike of energy can be felt within the boy; Deity leaves little room to analyze this power surge, however. His movement suddenly in the range of one thousand and one hundred feet per second, the Mystic demon's poised left leg explodes into motion as a supersonic blur, making a second attempt for Trei's sternum.

The strength of the attack is immense, Deity's foot aiming to slam into his opponent's chest and send him rocketing across the room at a speed human beings are not meant to be sent. The odd surge of power is over the instant it is released, obviously used to quickly enhance the speed and strength of that kick and made brief to reduce the chances of someone catching it entirely. Hit or miss, his left foot swings down after reaching the intended contact point as the Orinian's body lowers back down to the floor, touching left boot first, followed by his right.::

KeNsHiNo5o
The bright light surrounded Ken-Runt, who ignored it completely. The lack of using the eyes made it so Ken-Runt never percieved the light at all.

The sensors reported to the mini-virus that the figure on the other side of the room had successfully stabbed itself in the hand, pinning itself to the ground. Taking advantage of the pinned-person, Ken-Runt lept into the air, about ten feet off the ground. As he was in the air, he pointed his swords downwards. If nothing interrupted his jump, he would manage to land on the spot that Lys was currently in, successively stabbing both swords into her.

Lys, though wounded, still had enough perception to notice the figure falling towards her, but she didn't increase the speed of her actions in any way, she simply started to remove the knife from her hand, that was pinning it to the center of her symbol.

The symbols intent was still only known to Lys, but as soon as the figure landed his attack, he would see the purpose. As the figure continued its attack, now at its full momentum, he would be met with a most unpleasant interruption in the form of a shade demon.

In the dark corner, the figure would be completely invisible to all but the summoner, Lys. The creature, at the moment was nothing more than a mindless-souless embodiment of dark power, suitable enough to absord the attack directed at Lys without much trouble. Though the creature was spawned of shadows, the blood Lys had provided gave it substance, substance stronger than that of a humans body, equivalent to a shield of carbon.

Aside from just its physical makeup, its appearance would also be quite shocking to any who encountered it. Standing at a height of 6'9" with horns extending this height by a foot more atleast. In the light, its body would be seen as pitch black, possibly even absorbing some of the light around it, to form an aura of darkness around it. Perhaps the most frightening feature was the creatures claws, which were not only half a foot in length, but also barbed, so that once they had cut into flesh, they would rend it on the way out.

After Ken-Runts attack hit, Lys would need to move quick in order to make use of the creature, as though it could withstand a good deal of damage, it is just standing there, and unlikely to draw much attention off of Lys herself.

Though Trei isn't naturally an aura sensor, he can't help but to feel the spike of spiritual energy emitted by his opponent. What happens next, though, is unbelievably strange...

The man's kick, powerful as it was, would never impact with Trei's body... rather, the man would find his foot slamming into what seems to be a wall of warped, iridescent air that seems to move forward with Trei's own motion.

"What the hell..." Trei stops himself mid stride, looking at the shimmering barrier as it fades away. "Ummm....did you do that?"

The figure that was attacking Lys had vanished, and for an unknown reason. This worried Lys, perhaps he was the darkness she had come to vanquish, she would find out soon enough as the tournament was starting.

Not wanting to waste the blood and effort she had put in to calling the shade demon, Lys lifted her pendant from her neck, and as it dangled in her hands, she reached into the chest of the shade demon and placed the necklace where its heart would be.

Immediately Lys' body collapsed to the ground, at which point the large demon gently picked her up and placed her over its shoulder.

Being in this form was nothing new to Lys, as it was one of her favorites, but she could not mearly abandon her human body, it was her pass to presumably being normal. Not many people can simply accept a kind hearted woman inside the body of a horrific demon.

Lys, as the demon, searched the room for some hand wraps with which to seal the wound in Lys' physical body. Though the demon could try and heal the body with dark magic, Lys was unsure the effect it would have, as she had never used dark regeneration on a human. A simple wrap would have to do.

Tightly the demon bound Lys' bleeding hand and then flung her once again over its shoulder before rushing to the arena. Lys couldn't miss her opening match...

::Rather than kick the intended target, Deity's left foot comes into contact with some strange sort of barrier, hitting it like a wall of force that halts his movement. This in mind, he simply kicks off of it into a backflip, flying across the room to land two meters away onto his right foot, his left soon to follow.

Once again assuming a comfortably relaxed position, the Orinian's long wolflike tail sways back and forth at a dull pace as the tall boy examines the fading shield. He says nothing, his eyebrows raising up in acknowledgement of his opponent's question. He responds with a simple shake of his head, curious as to how Trei did such a thing on such short notice.::

Trei pokes the air where the barrier had been, but his finger just slides through. How had that happened?

The man was shaking his head, signifying that he hadn't put up the barrier... which, on on hand, is good because it means the guy isn't holding THAT much back. Perhaps a built-in defense that protects fighters from being killed outside of their actual match?

Trei looks at his opponent and shrugs. "Fuggin' weird. Oh well...shall we continue?"

::Remaining silent, Deity nods shallowly to Trei, now wary for another sort of barrier the likes of which he has just experienced. He finds that a different approach to his next attack is in order for this next attack, Trei undoubtedly expecting another high-speed direct attack. Without a word or sign of tension, Deity again stands sideways, his left foot forward as his thumb slips from the jean pocket positioned at his left hip. Slowly raising his arm and extending it forward, his fingers open gracefully and stretch out, as thought he were holding a basketball. There is a sudden airborne tremor, very subtle, distorting the atmosphere around Deity's arm.

Bursting out of the Orinian's body is a heavy collection of physical force, just smaller in dimensions than a full-size bed mattress. Invisible to the eye, it bolts forth to slam into the target like a wrecking ball. A fast one, at that, covering this two meter distance in one hundredth of a second.::

The man raises his arm...and Trei is already nearly on him, his fist flying around in a powerful right hook aimed straight for his opponent's chest. His left hand shoots up, to knock the offending arm to the side so that his opponent's chest remain's open, if for nothing but a chance to knock the man back a few steps...

::The result of Trei's movement forward does little to change Deity's battle plan - he simply releases the attack sooner instead of taking his time. Upon his first steps toward Deity, Trei still faces the threat of the kiai exploding out toward him, the fact that he is closing the distance between them causing the attack to reach him more quickly. Even should the boy prove so quick as to knock the Orinian's hand aside, it'd still do nothing to stop the kiai, which needn't be released from the palm to begin with.::

His opponent wasn't flinching, but Trei could see things alot better now that he was closer... for example, the air around his opponent's arm ripples, meaning something's coming. Stuck in mid-sprint, the boy does the only thing he can think of...he hops up and crosses his arms over his chest, getting hit but managing to avoid the knock-out. Bugger hurt like hell, though... sends Trei back across the room, landing with a skid across the hardwood floor.

Dammit. What's going on? Trei regains his footing and shakes out his arms, glad they aren't broken from the man's strike. This fugger's getting to be a pain. Why can't I lay a finger on him?

In the back of the young man's mind, a scene plays out...Trei feinting, the man ignoring it and focusing on his second attack. How could he get around someone who would totally ignore feints? If the man could tell when he was intending to hit him, he'd never get confused...Unless...

With a grin, Trei goes over to his swords, never removing the blades from their sheathes. He has an idea...but whether that works or not, he's gonna need everything he's got to fight this guy.

" I hope you'll allow me to bring these back into the game..." With a flash in his eye, the young man takes a relatively relaxed stance; the tachi's are gripped in his hands in a boxer-like stance, swords held in perpendicular fourty-five degree angles, left arm extended farther than the right. Grin never fading, he awaits his opponent's reply.

::The tall Mystic Orinian stands tall and still as Trei regains his bearings and returns to his feet. There is something about this one; the average joe would have found it useless to continue. A gentle expression - a smile - finally is shown on Deity's face, but just for a moment. Keeping his left foot forward, he calmly gestures with his left arm, opening his palm, fingers together, and swaying it from his right to his left, indicating the greater space inbetween the two. He retains a soft tone in his voice, just loud enough for Trei to hear clearly as he speaks.::

....do as you wish.

"You don't have to tell me three times..." With a chuckle, Trei charges forward, blades still held in-sheathe. If he's right, this just might work...

As he nears, he brings the right hand sword around in another feint, his arms switching back-to-front as the blade's hilt bursts towards the man's throat, the left hand behind it preparing for it's own attack...

::Deity's smile slowly fades back into that solemnly concentrated expression as Trei approaches, wielding two swords, both sheathed. He senses an attack, but his ability does not, however, show from whence the attack comes. With two possible outcomes and the first - the right-handed attack - more than likely being used as a diversion, the tall stranger opts for a direct counter-offensive maneuver.

After Trei has begun his right-armed swing, Deity waits only a fraction of a millisecond before moving in as well. His limbs again moving as - to the human eye - nothing more than supersonic distortions of color, Deity lunges his left leg forward and to Trei's right-hand side in a sidestep, knee bent at an eighty-five degree angle with his right foot sliding along the ground, leg kept straight. In this exact deft motion, his left hand reaches up and attempts a grab at the underside of his opponent's right arm (the tricep area), his fingers intending to curl tightly around the limb in a grip that one would find all but impossible to shake.

After the grab, Deity's elbow bent halfway, he quickly straightens his left knee to one hundred and thirty-five degrees, shifting his balance into that side and standing, therefore letting his right foot slide closer. The toes of both boots face partially away from eachother at slanting angles, the boy's heels just two feet apart. Along with this standing motion, the Tonepian forcefully guides Trei's arm further forward, twisting it with his hand somewhat inward to make an attack with Trei's right hand impossible - unless his elbow can bend the other way.

His body still moving like the speed demon it belongs to, Deity lets go of the young man's arm the instant his face is at level with the Orinian's. All actions unhindered thus far, his attack comes powerful and swift, his left fingers curling slightly as his right thumb unhooks from his jean pocket.

The moment he releases Trei's arm, his right-angled elbow pounds backward toward the boy's face at the same speed as that monstrous kick a moment ago, though lacking somewhat in power when compared to it. The instant he makes contact, he tightens the muscles of his wrist and fingers and pulls his elbow mere inches away before swinging his arm by Trei's face in a tight curve, aiming a follow-up backhand for the exact same point. An attack moving faster still, but a hit still with not enough power to do more than make Trei stumble back should he recieve it.

Waiting but a heartbeat, the Mystic devil pivots his right foot so it faces his left, dropping his right knee to the ground. As his left arm swings away from Trei's face, Deity's third strike of this attempt comes in the form of a right-handed palm strike. Just as his knee hits the floor, his fingers curled atop his palm slightly, Deity's right arm extends forward at a speed of two thousand five hundred feet per second, a force worthy of that speed ready and willing to send Trei into the wall behind him. The surface of his palm aims to come into contact with the very bottom of the breastbone, the target well within reach even if the first two hits hit home as intended.::

Raine left the dorms and made her way to the gym. She felt refreshed after her long hours of dozing and allowing her body to heal up and rest. Her cuts and burns stung a bit, but over-all, she felt great.
Her Odachi was sheathed at her left side. The giant sword had been polished and cleaned, sharpened, and was once more ready for battle..She couldn't wait for the second matches to start. But, before they did start, she thought it'd be best if she got in some training time for her next opponent.
Entering the gym, she saw various people sparring, some training with weights, just various people like that..
She stopped for a moment, standing there watching the spar going on in there. It was interesting, but she preferred to fight battles rather than watch them. She sighed, making her way to the corner where she'd be out of the way of the two.
Her eyes stared at the floor for a bit..Her face expressionless as usual.
She spotted a man in her general area, fighting...The air. He looked like he was having a blast...
She blinked and made her way over to him. It was unlike her to actually talk to strangers, but he seemed kinda unoccupied and looked as though he might be up for something..Say..A battle.

Hello..
Do you want to spar with me?
Your terms.
There's really nothing else to do...

Her voice was soft, yet commanding. It was also intrigueing, with a hint of something a little bit off in it. She simply stood, waiting for a reply.
