((Sorry! I've been so busy since I got back... sweatdrop ))
Reira's eyes widened when Tiki Jim told her of his family's interest in music. "So you hear a lot of music!" She commented, eager to continue chatting about random topics. She made an effort to mimic his dance style, but ended up shaking her rear a bit and laughing at what she knew was a failed effort.
"Yay! Sir Tiki Jim to the rescue!" She exclaimed as he slashed away the invisible foe.

Tiki Jim nodded. "Oh, yes. Jazz is the elder of Entertainment and she sings alot. She's like my aunt or something." Jazz and Jet weren't releated to him by blood, but they were family.
Tiki Jim put the invisable sword at his side and bowed. "I'm glad to be of help, oh Princess."

Reira had heard rumors of elders, and her eyes grew wide at the mention of one. "Wow! How cool!" she exclaimed, a bit jealous that Tiki Jim had so many people in his family. There were a few Pae she had met, but Tiki Jim was probably the closest to her of the select group, despite having just met him that day.
"You must come to supper tonight, then! We can celebrate your victory with a huge ball with lots of dancing and fun! The queen and I would be honored to have you as our guest!" Reira curtsied to the best of her ability, laughing as she straightened her back.

Tiki Jim nodded. "Yeah, you'll have to come to the bar sometime. It's not just for older pae. There is a a pool under the dance floor plus food we can eat." He smiled as he sat back down near her.
"Yes, I would love to come. Want to dance?" He chuckled.

"More swimming?" Reira asked incredulously. Tiki Jim's family certainly seemed to love the water. The bar did sound fun, though. "I'll have to go there sometime!" was her enthusiastic response.
She followed this statement with an uncharacteristic pause. For once, she was at a temporary loss for words. Truth was, she didn't actually know how to dance dance. She just knew how to do the childish 'move around a bunch and call it dancing' dance... and she also knew that there was a 'real' way to dance, the way princes and princesses do. Ego took over, though, and she recovered enough to smile and respond, "Of course! A princess is always willing to dance."

Tiki Jim smiled. "Yay that will be fun!" He said about the bar. He was born from a family of beach and bar bums. He liked simlar things to them.
He stood up and held out his hands. he didn't really know much of dancing besides the hula either. However, he had seen paes dance in the bar. He thought he could give a go.

Reira stood up as well, nervous. She had some idea of how to dance, from books and what Talea had taught her. Maybe that'd be enough... Besides, the point was to have fun, right?
She joined Tiki Jim and started humming a random upbeat song that she had heard so they'd have something to dance to.

Tiki Jim nodded. "So, I think you just go back and forth." He nodded and began to sway from side to side. That's what it looked like to him when he watched others dance.
The hula was different, but Tiki Jim didn't know it as well as his mom and Hula Grandaddy.

Reira was relieved that Tiki Jim didn't seem particularly familiar with dancing either. "Right!" she responded, doing her best to sway back and forth. Soon enough, she was bouncing from one foot to the other and her was humming breaking into an occasional giggle.

Tiki Jim chuckled. "This is kinda fun, huh?" He asked as he danced around the castle. He had to make sure not to step on it. Didn't want to be the one who ruined the Queen and Princess' home.

"Mmhmm!" Reira replied, breaking into her hummed soundtrack to do so. She continued around the castle just as Tiki Jim did, but her carelessness led her foot a step off from where she intended. One of the towers crumbled as her toe hit it, stopping her instantly.
For a moment, a blank stare filled her face, as if she didn't know what to think. Always good-humored, though, she simply laughed it off. "Oh well... Castles can be rebuilt, right?"

((Oh, I"m so sorry. For some reason I didn't see that you wrote back.))
Tiki Jim looked down at the castle. "Yeah, that's true." He laughed as he sat down. Tiki Jim then went to work on fixing it so that there would still be a place for the Queen and Princess to live.

((That's okay! I got really busy for a week and was thusly quite delayed...))
Reira joined Tiki Jim in fixing the castle. This time, she had a little better idea of what to and she was even prouder of the work they did. The tower looked like she wanted, and the could imagine where a window would be, and a winding stairwell inside. If only she could really life in a castle like this one.
Sighing, Reira sat down in the sand and watched the tide for a moment. The way the sun was hitting it made it sparkle brilliantly. Today was turning out to be a long day, but she was having a blast.

Tiki Jim looked at the castle when they were done with a smile. "I wonder where castle's really are? I haven't really ever seen one. What about you?" He asked he with a smile.
Hula Bob was watching over the two as he waited to see if anyone wanted a lesson in surf. "Maybe it's time for Hula lessons?"
