Warninglv100 [NUTs] Warninglv100 [NUTs] I want to stretch my second lobe holes to 16g(i believe it is) to fit in tongue rings. I just found it so unfair that u can find such awsome looking tongue rings -___- cuz theres no way i'd ever pierce my toungue >.> also i'm putting it in the second hole because i always like putting regular earings in the first (ones that dangle) and in the third i keep gold loops regardless of what jewelry is in the other 2 holes. the way i've stared it out was i put 2 gold earings in one hole. i used vaseline and it barely stung so i think it's all good. sorry if i sound like a foolish home piercer or something, just that this just makes sence to me. so am i completely stupid for doing it the way i am? (i.e. i just put 2 earings in one slot to stretch) because i don't see the harm in it if it caused little to no pain. i hear stretching lobes smell? does that apply when going from an 18g to 16g? and is it easy to go back to normal size should i decide to one day take it out? I believe tongue barbells come in 14ga minimum, but I could be wrong. It sort of sounded like you pierced your ear for a second there, but putting in two pieces of jewelry in one hole already there can work. It's really not the best though at that size. Small gauge earring can tend to slice through lobes if you're not careful, so you could end up with a slit rather than a nice round hole. At that small of a size, it'd really just be better to get some 14ga (since that's the size I believe most barbells come in, but I don't know where you're finding them, but either way, 14 ga works) tapered jewelry. I used 14ga "enlarging crescents" for my first stretch and it just stung for a day or two. As for smell, all piercings can smell due to the dead skin and oil being sloughed out of the piercing. Even before with my 20ga jewelry, there could be a slight odor. Stretched ears can just make it more noticible. This really isn't a concern unless you're dealing with a nose piercing in my opinion. It's not like it's an overwhelming occurence. With that small of a size, you shouldn't have any trouble going back as long as the jewelry doesn't slice through. thanks for the info, it's probably 14 like you said. and about the cresents you were talking about, well i dont think it's possible for me because i don't want it to be noticable that i've stretched my hole if my mom sees it sweatdrop Hm.. that does pose an issue. You could just get a single taper then and follow the barbells after, then the jewelry won't show the noticable stretch. Tapers can be pricey is the only issue. Acrylic tapers would be cheaper though. You may be able to get the 14ga barbells in depending on the hole size. It's worth a try, just DON'T force them in if they don't want to slide in. I only offer that as an option since it's such a small gauge. mm hmm.... so uh... i put the bar in lol i took out the 2 earings and put vaseline on the bar and my ear, then got it in. i had to force it but not drasticly. it stings a little now but i figured it would, and it didn't bleed or anything mrgreen w00t?

That's good that it didn't bleed. And as long as it didn't blow out in the back that's great. Just make sure to clean out that vaseline. That could end up a mess. xp Congrats on the new size. xd Just baby them for a few days for the stinging to go down, and if it doesn't anymore now, all the better.

I used to have two lobe piercings naturually stretched on each side, the lower at 1/2in and the upper at 0g.. But a few days ago I had them cut into one hole, because if I continued stretching they'd both be off center and not what I wanted. I have pictures of the entire experience on my photobucket here: http://photobucket.com/albums/v192/kotobukya/

Uuuuugh, I tried to stretch from 14 to 10.
It wasn't pain, really... it just would NOT go through. So I bought 12g and it went swell. So now my first lobes are 12, my second 14, and third are just standard. I tried to put 16g in the third but they bled and it terrified me so I stopped.

I`m currently waiting for my parcel from BME. Then, I`m gonna stretch my earpiercngs. I have two in each ear. The lowest are gonna be 6mm, and the top is gonna be 3mm. Stretching is fun and pretty! I have a friend with 6cm big earlobes...

Thanks guys. @K-9wolf: Once you get to 4g you'll most likely want to keep going bigger. My goal was 0g and I'm at 1/2" right now. ha.

i've been told its addicting... =x
but..really, i cant be too addicted to it. i'm trying to trick my mind- stop at 4, so if you do, u could go bigger to like a 0 or so...
but see, i want to be an art teacher, so i'd need to be able to hide things still. =x hah. more'n a 4 may get difficult to do so ^^'
