I'll have my master of the city call your master of the city and we'll set up a playdate. It crossed my mind to mention it and I'd feel really silly making a thread about it, but I too have a toy penguin. A stuffed creature I saw just last month and had to get cause he was so adorable. Anyway, his name is Sigmund since everytime I see a penguin I can only think of his name and the AB series. The only stuffed animal I own that has a name xd

Hello everyone!
My name is Ave, and I'll be 17 in March. I currently live in the ice box that is Minnesota, but I alternate between parents, so I also have a home near Anglesey, Wales. I started reading Anita Blake... about a month ago, and as an avid reader, I've quickly finished a great number of them! I just love how witty Anita is, and I would give anything to have Jean Claude (at least, at the point I'm at in the books that is) trailing after me! I actually have a stuffed pengui too, so thats really cool. I just finished Circus of the Damned, and I know I'm not going in order (They didn't have the next books) but I just started The Killing Dance, which I've heard is a very good book! Looking forward to conversing with fellow anitaholics! ~Ave~

Hey y'all. The name's Ray and I'm a 16 year old Floridian.
A friend of mine (Laurella) got me into the series not quite a year ago. She started me off with The Killing Dance (something for which I will never forgive her!), and I've been hooked ever since. I read all the way up through Cerulean Sins, then restarted with Guilty Pleasures. I made it up to Circus of the Damned, but with school in the way I haven't been able to continue, so I am still without having read Lunatic Cafe and Bloody Bones.
Although I may be flamed for this, I am still a Richard girl at heart, and I do not care for Micah in the slightest. She should have shot him, if you ask me.
I am simply fine with the way the series is going, sex and all; the random ******** do not disgust nor disappoint me in the slightest. It all serves a purpose and people should quit whining about it.
I have not read the "Merry Gentry" series, nor have I read any of Laurell's short stories. I plan on reading them all eventually, however. smile
Hmm. I think that's about all I have to say. If you'd like to know anything else, reply or PM me. I'm pretty sociable (online) and I don't mind talking/chatting/conversing with basically anyone. smile n00bs beware, however.

I think a lot of us don't care for Micah. I personally don't. I started out as a Richard fan (favoring him over Jean Claude) then became tired of his whining but with the release of Incubus Dreams I can feel my old Richard love blossoming again. Welcome to the guild 3nodding

IRL: I"m sixteen years old, a junior in high school and I fell in lvoe with the series about two years after my friend gave me a copy of Burnt OFferings and I had sat down and just started reading it. After the first few pages I was hooked and I read the whole series. I lvoe it because it holds alot of supsense, mystrey, great detail and romance. I love that in a novel. I love Anita Blake and Asher the most I think. I love it all. I think Richard's kind of a pain but hey.
As a char: Skyler Daratrazanoff, or just simply Skyler, was a created char from another series. In this case she's a vampire born in the carpathian mountian range and was brought over here by her uncleas a newborn vampire (No not an infant) She has sable hair tha tfalls to her waist, silver eyes, and she's not quite an anceint. Still a mere fledgling compared to alot of the others. She is sweet but has a bad temper....

Greetings all, I am Daraku , and have Been an A.B. fan for about two years now....
Is it just me, or does this almost seem like the begining of an A.A. meeting? sweatdrop
I first got into the series when a good friend of mine from highschool handed me Guilty Pleasures saying it was perfect for me. And I was hooked! I devoured all the rest of the books currently out within one month! not to mention bought her newest as soon as it hit the shelves.
I am 22, 23 mid Feb, married to another Anita obsesee heart and currently working to pave over plot holes in a fic I am writing.
