ChocoHearts I think what Zely means is, you should only be able to use a single, specific element. For example: my character only can use Air magic, and Galexia's uses Shadow magic. Having Mastery over all of the elements implies that, through combinations of powers, your character would be able to manipulate anything. And, frankly, that's grossly overpowered. Precisely. It needs to be less broad, not more broad.

I'm just gone scratch the character. I based her on certain beliefs and myths in real life and she is just too complicated to explain. Been reading too many metaphysic books. 'Sides I don't know if I'll be on enough to rp.

Alrighty. I may take the character to use as an NPC for a bit, since you've posted in the RP already. You're free to make a new character if you want.

Catacombs are up.
Council Members: Before I post your HQ, I need your requests for defensive features. Just toss some out here and I'll build them into the location. If you could be somewhat specific as to what you want, like what the effect is, where it is, how it's activated, and if there's anything else special about it. Otherwise, I'll build it in as I see appropriate.

And their should be some sort of anti magic field...wheither this is inside or around the building it doesnt matter, but in a city of mages you would think this an obvious features if it exists outside the clan of Rha-cant-remember-his-name Diamond windows..unbreakable ^__^ and lots of alarms...

All of that is do-able, even the sea bass. Just keep in mind that you're the lords of the most powerful, most rich, most magical city in the world. You can have anything, especially with magical features. You could have unbreakable stained glass windows if you want. Lemme see what I can remember from the last council HQ: Mortal guards The Watchers (two trees that effectively slowed time around the Chambers, which gave the council time to decide what to do with anyone approaching.) Anti Magic shell around the building Scrying table where they could observe anything and everything in the city (and beyond) That's what I remember. As far as an anti-magic shield goes, Yeah, it's possible to have the same sort of barrier as kept Iahhel's clan out, but you've got to remember that they don't know he's back yet. Magical scrying fails around him as he absorbs it. But a general anti-magic shield around the building is a must. Inside, it probably doesn't work since the Council will want to be able to use their magic.

Reminds me of pyramids... maybe have some trap-doors with man-eating spiders in the bottom. that would probably make me not want to come to HQ! LMAO! Oh. And I want a kitchen so Fior can cook for the 5AUs. razz

Do the guards just recognize the Council members and allow them to walk through, or are there security tests that they have to go through, like showing identification? What I was thinking was something like having some sort of magical ID that only glows for a positive ID when held by the Council Member or someone with a type of magic very close to a Council members. Flying monkeys ala Wizard of Oz would be great but probably too ridiculous. Maybe they could have hawks or falcons patrolling the HQ though, crying out and swooping down if someone unfamiliar or unescorted gets too close to the HQ.

Well, in the Lower City description it says that the Council is normally only accesable from gates that Council Members can open. Almost definitely guarded too. It's possible that someone else might open it, so there'll be more inside. Thus, the artifact that opens it will be a good indication to the guards of who can go in.
