Malkut How long do you have to leave the nose stud in before you can take it out for an 8 hour day? 3-6 months.

I've always wanted to, but I live in a small town, and my parents are well known, so I can't do anything too crazy.
Though I did dye my hair purple at the beginning of the year. smile

Though I did dye my hair purple at the beginning of the year. smile Gotta love purple hair. My mom is so anti-facial piercings. I hid in my room for 3 days so she wouldn't see it. She picked me up from my night class (i purposefully got it on the side of my nose that doesn't face her in the car) and she decided we needed to go to the store real quick. I'm walking around trying not to face her when she tells me to get ahead of her in line and get the stuff outta the cart, unfortunately as i turned into the line, she got a square look at my nose and Yells "what is that" I just turn to her with the most guilty look and she just says "it doesn't look that bad, not as big as i thought it would be" the nicest thing my mom has ever said (that mattered). She even lets me wear it to her company picnic lol

My mom's not big on facial piercings, but it's more for hygenic reasons, or so she says. She was a medical technition for a number of years.
It was actually her idea for me to do the hair purple. It's one of our University's colors, and it was football season. I didn't go to any games, but I had the hair. smile

In the name of school spirit, I see, nice. I'm unaware of any hygenic problems unless the person is normally unhygenic, then I see what she means.

I think for her it's just the idea of piercing something that's near a mucus gland. And she's caught up on "how do you sneeze or blow your nose without stuff getting caught?" Hehe.

Carefully, sneezing is the easiest, blowing your nose takes some getting used to. you'll end up stabbing the inside of your nose with the stud (not as bad as it sounds) if you're not careful.

My mom's like that too (she's a Nurse). I've never wanted a nose piercing, for which she's glad, but I still like the lip piercing and she's not too happy with that prospect. sweatdrop

I've seen some moms with some, I just don't know any (non of my friends' moms). course now that I think about it, my friend just had a baby and she at one time had facial piercings, not now though.
