Diana OConnell what about Jaberwakey or the raven or hollow men or second coming...wait thouse might not be the best examples sweatdrop i don't recall having read jaberwakey, but i know of it. the raven.... i'm drawing a blank, who's the poet? hollow men was good, but not my fav. i didn't like the second coming, at all. i really liked The Rhime of the Ancient Mariner (rhime is spelt that way on purpose), or Whoso List to Hunt. ooo or The Destruction of Sennacharib.... *babbles on* i don't like modern poetry at all. and i HATE margaret atwood. she's so... dry. gimme the good ol stuff! heh. beowulf. ^_________________^

i've only heard part of the raven. from what i've read, it's good. once upon a midnight dreary, as i pondered weak and weary .... something like that. i like the Lenore version xd once upon a midnight dreary, as i pondered weak and weary, there came a rap tapping on my study door... t'was the wind *pic of lenore with her cheek bulging and feathers fluttering through the air and a bird foot poking out of her mouth* and nuffin' more. biggrin
