Skai sighed, looking at Kaide, who just grinned in an evil way at her. Then she looked back at Cassi. "We're spying on the armies of the four countries Marsolan, Rhodendron, Thasala, and Azalea. If any of them are to go to war, we are supposed to find out, and return to Glavendrell, and report to the High King. Be prepared, we may end up fighting on the way." She pulled her knife out, and began sharpening it with a rock.

"Hand-to-hand, I suppose. Well..." Cassandra said as she pulled a sword from a sheath under her overcoat. "I just happened to have 'borrowed' Father's sword." She smiled menacingly.

Kaide sniggered. "You 'borrowed' it, eh? Haha! That's a good one." She laughed slightly then went quiet, looking around. "So are we going to go now or what?"
Skai raised an eyebrow at Kaide. "Yes, I suppose we should go. Are we all ready?" She looked about the clearing, putting a hand on her hip, while taking a bite from the browning apple, which she took from Kaide, in the other.

[<3]Shizuri woke up the next morning.
"Wioah.. How long did I sleep..?" he said to himself tiredly, rubbing his eyes, and finding out the knife in which he had fallen asleep with, had cut his hand wide open.
"s**t," he cursed, seeing how deep it was, and how much dirt had gotten inside. He ran trough the trees, trying to find the hotspring he had seen on his way through the forest.
"Ah, there it is," he said thankfully, and he slowly submerged his hand into the warm water.
He gasped a writh of pain, it hurt, but he knew it would be good for him. He took his hand out of the water, and spead the two seams of the cut away from each other. He saw no more dirt, so just as a precaution, shoved his hand back into the water, and went back to his "camp".

[<3]Shi sits down, grabs his bag with the good hand he has, and unzips the front pouch. There he keeps all his first aid things. He grabs a guazeball, drenches it in hydrogen peroxide, and wipes the cut with it. He then starts wrapping his hand in a smooth, clean white strap bandage. He packs up all of his things, grabs his bag, and starts heading down the forest path.
"Hm.. Should go into own today. Got to get some food, and I need a real bed to sleep on," he mumbles to himself, "can't use my left hand katar, either. Gah.."
He starts to walk dejectedly and drunk-like down the forest path, and collapses.

Skai's ears perked up. She sened moevment in the forest not too far away. "I'll be right back." She stated tossing her apple back to Kaide. She ran into the trees, heading in the direction she sensed the movement.
After a few moments she ran onto a path. "Oh my." She stated, seeing the man lying on the ground. She got down on her knees eside him, pulling out her leather water holder. She checked his pulse. It was there. She sighed in relief, before taking the lid offf of her water holder and dribbled some of it on his face, hoping to wake him up.

Skai ooked up and saw Soki. "Yes, he's alive." She looked back down, placing her hand on the man's forehead, and speaking a few words. Kaide ran into the clearing, pulling her wand out.
Kaide ran up to Skai. "You called? Oh! That's why" She bent down beside the man, placing the tip of her wand on his left hand, where there was a large, deep cut. It instantly healed up. "There. My work here is done." She stood and walked over to a tree, putting her wand back into her bag.

He sat down under a tree and checked his pocket watch again. The words "7-7 Burning Justice" were etched in the inner covering.

Skai pulled the man over against a tree, taking off her cloak, and laying it beneath his head, like a pillow. After a moment she stood up again and walked over to the edge of the clearing. "It's nearly sun set already. Wow." The bright colors were just beginning to appear in the sky, lots of red and pinks were visible.
"We should make camp here. I know it's not far from where we started, but no use wandering in the night, if only two of us have night vision." She gathered a few sticks, then motioned for Kaide to do the same.
Kaide also gathered many dry sticks, along with old withered weeds, to help starts the fire up. In no time there was a warm fire going, and Skai was searching for a stream to get some fish.
"Mm. This is as good a time as any." She pulled the fresh fruit from her bag and began slicing it with her dagger. She cleaned a piece of thick wood, straightening the top with her dagger, and laid the pieces of orange and apple on it, leaving the wood near the fire, so the fruit would dry out. Then she walked over to the tree where the unconscious man was laying, and sat down, pulling her scetch paper, and charcoal from her bag, and beginning the long process of drawing.

[<3]Shizuri woke up slowly, lifting his hands to rub his eyes, realizing that the bandages from his left hand were gone and a long scar run from index finger to palm.
"Who are you?" he asked sternly, getting up, grabbing the nearby knapsack he recognized as his own, and puling out a 12" knife.
"Who are you, why is my hand healed, and what have you done to me?"
He ordered them to tell, showing his aggresive side as he held out the long, silver blade.

Kaide looked up, startled to see the man awake. "I'm Kaide. I healed your hand. And that's all I've done." She rolled her eyes and wen back to drawing as Skai walked back into the clearing hold three large trout in one hand.
Skai noticed that the man was awake. "Oh, so you're up. " She muttered, walking over to the fire. She prepared the fish for cooking, and put them on a long stick over the fire, then she went over next to him. "No need to have that out." she said, motioning to the knife. "I'm Skai. And you are?"

[<3]"Shi.. Shizuri.." he mumbled, fumbling to put away the knife, "sorry for causing an uproar.. I haven't been in contact with people for days.." he slowly went back to the spot where he had been sleeping, got comfortable, and drifted to sleep.

Skai smiled and went back to tending the fish. She noticed the fruit beside the fire, raising an eyebrow, she glanced at Kaide. She was still over there drawing. She laughed slightly then sat down beside the fire, pulling some seasonings out of her small pouch on her belt. She sprinkled some on each fish, the aroma by itself made her mouth water.
"The fish are done!" She called out a few minutes later, drawing Kaide's attention. She pulled the fish off of the fish and sliced them into portions. There was just enough for everyone. She put the fish on seperate sticks, handing on to each of the others in the clearing. She wrapped Shizuri's in a clean leaf and set it beside him, so it would still be at least partially warm when he woke.

[<3]Shizuri sat up in an instant.
"FOOD?" he cried, running over to where the lady sit, hugging her tight.
"THANK YOU." He was very thankful. He had not eaten in several days, was low on money, and hadn't been to town.
"I'll give you money for this as soon as I can, I'm afraid I don't have much on me, but I'll give you what I have as advance," he said in a hurry, handing over the remainder of his gold pouch, which contained 16 gold peices. He gratefully took the fish from the lady and ate it as fast as he could.
