He didn't Pull away immediaty and actually if yuo watch Chloe is the one who pushes away nd there is a few seconds where Clark kind of takes it in Well i dont remember that part so i cant argue with it but ive come up with a comeback. if clana is all about sex and no ture love then why is lana hurt so badly when clark doesnt reveal him true self if she just his sex buddy.

Because Lana had mistaken herself into thinking she was in love with Clark. Lana was not Sex crazy all the time. Just after they did it the first time she was always trying to get Clark to sleep with her. Eventually sexuality was what she was basing their relationship off of. They still did not communicate well befor their sex. It was just a physical relationship that they had decieved themselves into thinking that they were meant for each other. They did what was expected of them

Er...Not exactly. She liked the feeling. There is not much communication going on during sex. Lana was trying her hardest to get Clark into bed with her by making comments about how Chloe was pulling an all nighter at the Planet and such. Or when ever they were alone Lana would start kissing Clark. People who love each other would know that at some point they WOULD have to discuss other things. They say they ove each other because they were impulsive. Pre Sex effect they said they loved each other because it was a high school fling. AFter the sex effect that was all Lana wanted to do and they were always getting in fights and really they hardly ever told each other they loved each other.

Hmm.
But she did want to actually talk to him didnt she? Perhaps the things she did with him was because she knew he was secrective right? Maybe she just got tired of trying to find out what he was hiding?

AH gotchya.
They did talk. But they didn't talk about the things there relationship was relaying on. Lana was always trying to talk about sex and why Clark wouldn;t have sex with her. When they weren't she was wondering what he was keeping from her. The discussions never lasted and they never got to the point that needed to be reached, someone always came out hurt by one of the discussions which made them almost afraid to confront each other. Lana has always known that Clark is secrative, and she has always been tired of trying to figure him out. It created frustration and tension between the two. Lana finally figured out that if Clark had truley loved her then he wouldn;t have left her in such an isolated and Clueless state about who he truley was. When Clark says "Lana you know me you know i wouldn;t do that unless i really had to" and Lana replies "No Clark i don't know you. You have so many different sides i'm not sure which one is the real you"
