Jazz looked back over to Raken who was stuttering. Jazz giggled. She then looked back up at the sky. So pretty. "It's such a nice day. You wouldn't know that yesterday even happened. I guess that's what's so nice about it." She smiled warmly back over to Raken.

He nodded slowly, smartly keeping his mouth closed. Like he could form any comprehensive sentences anyway. He did venture a small smile though. A thought struck him. sweatdrop Tartara was going to flip when she next saw him. Always did when he got hurt.

Jazz took a deep breath. "The flowers have a sweet smell too. So, this is where you train? Do you stop and just sit like this? Just zone out and be free?" Jazz was always free. I mean, she did grow up lazy on a beach. It might be been how she learn to astral project.

He quickly shook his head. "Waste of time. And if I sit and wait, I might not want to get back up. If I cannot even control my power, what chance have I to become elder?" Unlike Jazz he wasn't free. He kept himself on a tight rein, carefully monitoring reading and training time, leaving only a section for sleep and eating. o_o he was actually cutting into his training time. stressed Curse that squirrel.

"Waste of time? I don't think it is..." Jazz frowned. "Anyway, I'm an elder and I didn't train that hard. Of crouse I'm elder of entertainment." She just shurgged.

"Do you think this is a waste of time? Cause I can let you be." Jazz sat up sadly. She didn't mean to interupt his day. Jazz was just enjoying it.

Quickly he shook his head again, his silver locks glinting off the sun. "It is but it isn't. What would I do anyhow? Make myself pass out trying to simply uphold a creature? Read? No good. Tartara would be looking for me." Well THAT was odd. Maybe...he did enjoy the company...a little anyhow.

Jazz looked at him for a moment. "Oh, okay. Well, I guess...but I guess it is a waste of time had you been well right now. I guess that's good enough. You'll have to get hurt more." Jazz was just kidding, but everyone needed a rest now again.

He actually chuckled at that. "Well...you could always drop in while I'm training. Extra help is always appreciated." Raken realized what he was saying a touch to late. Maybe he did like company..more then a little bit.

"I could do that, maybe. Though, I'm not sure how much help I'd be. I don't really like fighting. Most likely why I'm not the elder of my power." She shurgged. Jazz didn't mind. She left fighting to those who liked it and were good at it. Jazz would rather be with her friends and family at the beach and bar.

He blushed slightly. "I...don't fight with them. Normally. Usually it is a mind thing. Like I had to guess the name of a wolf. Zion." Raken sighed. It had taken him and Amara hours to go through every name that they could possible come up with. And it had been her to come up with it!

Jazz nodded. "But, in the end they are for fighting like yesterday. Really? Zion? That must have been hard to come up with." Jazz didn't know too many names. She didn't read as much as Raken. "Though, you do read alot."

"That's not really my fault. I was given this power and in the end it was my training that helped save both of us." A hint of red spread over his face at the second. "Actually...Amara found out that it's name was Zion. I...told her that is sounded to much like a dogs." sweatdrop He didn't even know that shadows HAD names!

Jazz nodded. "Yeah, I guess that is what powers are for... though, I use mine to tend bar. Still, in a jam they can be handy." She smiled. "Really? I would have needed help too."

He had practically begged Amara to help him. Each challage was getting harder and harder and if he wasn't careful, he could really get hurt. And Tartara's hurbs wouldn't help. "What was worse was that after a bit the wolf got bored and stopped responding."

"Well, I guess that's why you train, then. So that you will keep getting better at it?" Jazz understood a bit more. Though, she still liked being lazy. It was so much more fun.
