"I know, up there!" Terry pointed to the top of one of the ferris wheels. "We should be able to see everything from up there. We can look for El and scope out the rest of the park, figure out what we want to hit next." Terry jogged out in front of the group. "Come on, this way!"

Hikaru took a few steps back as she looked up, marveling at the sheer height of the ferris wheel, her eyes wide with amazement.

"Wow... that's pretty tall! I bet it takes a long time to get all the way up to the top and back!"

Watching Terry run off ahead of the group for just a second, she smiled to herself and went dashing off after him.

"Oh man, this is gonna be so cool being up so high." Tekishe exclamed as he rocked back and forth in car. "We could see the entire school from up there. I'm sure if we do something impressive El will be sure to see us and come."

"Thank you," Alex took time to respectfully bow her head to the little elemental imp that held the place in line, before then scurrying after the group.

Next thing she knew, Hiko had dragged her onto the ride, "AIYAH!" she screamed, and tumbled into her seat. She was hoping to avoid the ferris wheel altogether, "Calm thoughts. Remember El, remember El," she shut her eyes and began taking deep breathes. It probably would be nice to see the entire carnival and campus, it might even be pretty. With that, she slowed down her breathing and smiled cheerfully along with Hikaru, calmer at the thought of seeing all the beauty the area had to offer.

With Alex, Hikaru, Tekishe, and Terry in one car, the conductor pushed the car forward, allowing others to pile into the next basket. When enough riders had taken various seats, the conductor sent the wheel spinning, slow at first and then faster. The ferris wheel didn't move nearly as fast as the demon drop, but the car swinging back and forth gave it that added air of danger--not enough to be scary, just enough to be fun.

As the car paused towards the top, Terry moved to the edge to look out over the park. The rollercoasters snaked in and out of the tree lines, while the spinning rides of vomiting death poked up out of clearings, like standing stones in a grove of trees. Terry could see students walking to and from the rides and the booths and the games and everywhere, flowing along like a river of people.

He kept an eye out for El, and scoped out the rest of the park. "Hey, there are water rides over there! And bumper cars!"

"Water rides! We need to go on the water rides!"

She excitedly tugged at Terry's shirt, forgetting herself in the moment for just a second before once again realizing what she was doing and sharply pulling her hand away. Quieting down a little and rocking gently in her seat, she peered out over the carnival. Everyone looked so small down there, scurrying around like ants at a really huge picnic.

"Does anybody see El?" she asked after a few moments, cupping a hand over her eyes and peering out over the crowd.

Tekishe smiled at Alex when she suggest that he use his elementals to find El. "Sure! Gist give me a moment here." Stading up, Tekishe closed his eyes and began to wave his hands and chant, causing the cart to swing dangerously back and forth. After a half minute of chanting a large burst of light exploded in fron of the four, blasting air into the faces Alex, Hiko, and Terry, and knocking Tekishe out of the car. He quickly returned, carried by four struggling, dull yellow elementals, who dropped him without care back into the car before proceeding to pant tiredly. Not realizing too much about what had just happened, Tekishe turned to them and gave them a few orders in an odd language, causing them to let out what seemed to be a slight protest before they darted off in various directions.

"There we go."
