As he spoke she figured he was done and she turned to retrieve the yukata. She realized he had been watching her fix her hair and she gave him a questioned look. Was their something on her face? She chuckled and shook her head, dismissing it for now. "Throwing around some ice daggers, doesn't sound too hard for you. And if he wants to attack you..why don't you make sure to attack him first! While he's sitting in the audiance make sure to drop a ball of ice water on him or something."

She grinned impishly. "Really Taizen, I don't think he's looking to 'attack' you in public. It's more for show.." The grin faded into a light smile. "I am looking forward to see what you can do." With that said she turned to the table and placed the yukata down, wondering if she should start now..or get something to eat before she settled into the task of work.

"Hahah, wow bending is so easy, I never thought of it like that!" He said smirking, I think by tomorrow night he'll have a whole routine for me." He smirked darkly, foreshadowing something... "Right, interact with the audience... Right...?"

"Well, I'm sure he's going to claim it was for the show... I'm glad i'm not in the circus, this must be how they all feel." He commented. He smirked some more, "Of course your looking forward to see what I can do, I'm great." He complimented himself unmodestly, stroking his huge ego to even biger proportions Making him seem even more full of himself. "So... Do you have any Ideawhat your going to do? Maybe visit your old village? I have to admit, half the reason i'm here, is because I'm heading to the south pole, I'm a little homesick you see."

"I never said bending was easy. But we both know you are accomplished at it. After all, you are traveling with your teacher! I'm sure you know more then just melting snow..and throwing it somewhere after it's liquid. See, if you are so great then why you worried?"

Her hands went about pulling pins and she started sewing in the sleeves so that they would be about wrist length for him. Oddly she lost all obvservation of what she was doing when he asked her about her plans. Or more so about her village. Her hand yanked from the fabric when she realized she was bleeding from literally stabbing her fourth finger with the needle she was using. She eyed the bead of blood silently, almost thoughtfully before she lifted it to her lips and began to suck the blood away. She simply shrugged at the question, lowering her hand to resume work once she was sure it wouldn't bleed all over the cloth.

"I...have no plans..there is no home to return to. Just ruins.."

"Niima, sometimes I doubt your intelligence." He said teasingly, before hearingthe rest of what Niima said. "Oh..." He said, feeling a bit awkard, having impeded uponsomethingthat he felt he shouldn't have. But, after feeling sorry, he started feeling angry.
:Ninja: scatter brained... ^.^; ninja
Niima, was a very smart, and intelligent person! How dare she even say she has no plans? "Niima!" He growled pokng her forehead, which was the closest he would get to actually hurting her. "You have plans!" He commanded, more than explained, trying to drill that into her mind. "People need purpose." He growled, trying to calm down. "I'm sorry if your homes not where it used to be, but to wander through life without purpose..." He trailed off to allow Niima to fill in the blanks.

She went to say something but found herself being poked on the forehead. Her eyes narrowed dangerously if not warningly. She didn't seem to like that one bit. When he was ranted on she watched the finger that had poked her forehead, daring him silently to try that again. She'd bite his finger! She allowed him to rant on until it seemed like he was done before she cleared her throat.

"Are you very well and done with the lecture? I know people have a purpose, Taizen. But at times there are not as clear as your path seems to be. For others they must ponder and seek that path. No. I have no plans of yet but that doens't mean I plan on slouching through my life thank you very much. And if you poke me again like that you are going to be finding yourself with nine fingers.."

She turned her attention to the yukata and began to sew again. She hadn't had thought of leaving the temple yet simply because she had gotten there not long before he. After traveling so long..alone...it was nice to be some place where she was warmly welcomed..."What is your purpose since you seemed so concerned about purposes.."

Taizen gave her a haughty look, that told her he'd like to see her try, but he refraimed from poking her again. "You really should learn to be less blunt." He commented, not caring if it seemed, or morely was hypocritical, he could care less about things like that. His own morals were special, in that few things Taizen did were immoral.

"Sure, I plan on being the strongest bender in any of the poles. Is thatgood enough for you?" He asked briskly, not caring to even smirk at Niima now. All and all, he was very emo... Nopt that he knew he was emo, or anybody else for that matter...

His look didn't phase her, mostly because she was still grouched from when he poked her. Her oldest brother use to do that and it drove her nuts. It was an annoyance. "Hrmph. Why should I be less blunt? Can't handle the truth? And why you want to be the strongest waterbender? That's a little Cliché isn't it?"

Her eyes rose to the window, noting that the sun was beginning to dip away behind the mountain. It explained why she was a bit tired. Placing the yukata down she raised her hands upward then bent her elbows so that her hands rested against the back of her head and she stretched out.

"You would think that someone like you would speak with more tact, isn't that enough of an answer for you?" He asked, not feeling up to answering Niima with anything more than half enthusiasm. He made an irritated sniffing noise.

"Have you been around equality your whole life? Have any Idea what it's like to be uniqe? Thats what the strongest bender is, Unique..." That was a half answer, one that he had the other half to, but he chose not to tell Niima it. He was now feeling very emo.

Her hands fell to her side sharply and she gave him a sidelong glance. She stood and shrugged her shoulders gently. "I was nine when my village..my family was torn from me Taizen..But I didn't grow up equal to anyone. And after that I was alone. I believe how I am makes me rather unique in person, bluntness and all.."

She turned and faced him, her arms folding across her chest. "Well if you plan on being he strongest bender, for whatever reason..You shouldn't let something like showing off your learned skills in front of people shake you." She didn't push any longer to know his answer. It actually didn't surprise her that Taizen was 'I want to be all powerful waterbender!'. But she knew there had to be more. "Speaking of which..you should go get something to eat and some rest so you aren't lacking tomorrow. Wouldn't do you well to fall asleep during performance right? Besides, I am sure I am boring you enough with my blunt nature and lack of purpose..." As she spoke she suddenly felt useless and her lips turned downward in a faint frown. She shook her head. It wasn't like she was dodging her purpose..and it felt like Taizen was pushing her. But to what end?

"But of course niima, your very special, you are of a dying race; it seems that there are less and less orphaned children with each passing year." He said bitterly, feeling very well in attempting to leave the area.

At Niima's words, Taizen scowled, "Having the ability to do something, and not want to flaunt it; Has nothing to do with becoming a strong bender." He said evenly, Promptly turning and walking out the door, just because Niima advised it, he felt like not doing it. He headed out onto the grounds, the moon was out, but it was a sickle, Taizen felt no joy from the moon as he usually did. He halfheartedly attempted to bend, but his bending was off, he had trouble making the snow rise from the ground! "Damnit!"

She sneered at the cruel words and she had the feeling of 'gently' tossing a gale wind at Taizen. "Preforming a show isn't flaunting. Not only is it practice for you but it also gives you confidence to do it infront of others!" She barked out at him as he exited.

Teeth clinched she glared at the doorway, almost as if daring Taizen to return. What crawled up his pants?! After a few moments of glaring her hands thrusted downward, thrusting out her frustration among..a rather violent burst of air that sent several items off of her table, shoving the table itself against the wall. Guardian grunted at the burst, ears folding backwards.

Sharply she turned and moved to the window of her room, lifting a leg up and over the edge. A tug from Guardian caused her eyes to turn and she shook her head. "I'm going alone.." She yanked her leg, tugging away from her feline companion and out the window she went. She didn't wish to be seen by anyone that might of still been up. Circling longway around the temple she headed to and past the glade she had brought Taizen, her step more of a stalking then anything. Eventually she found herself at her private little nook, most didn't know about it because it was far out of the way to travel.

Inhaling deeply, she dismissed the cold wind biting at her pale skin. Her hands rose, combing back her bangs before her hands quickly lowered, palms up and at waist length. Another cleansing breath was made and she leaned slowly into her back heel. With a swift motion forward, she leans into her front foot, her back foot shifting as her body turned. Snapping her back foot around she twisted her body until her back was able to kick out in a side-kick, sending a burst of air forward. During this motion her hands shift from waist to chest length, left hand turning palm down. The foot landed heavily on the ground as she leaned forward, thrusting her right hand out, backhanding air followed by the left thrusting forward, two wind crescents of winds tossed out. Over and over the crescents where aimed towards the ground, flinging up snow in wild flurries.

Coupled with lack of food and sleep, she was soon exhausted out and she collasped to her knees. Shifting her legs she sat back on her heels, hands resting on her knees. Taizen's words kept repeating in her head and she just stared at the snow. If looks could kill..she'd of burned a hole to the center of the world by now..

"Damnit!" Taizen growled again, as he attempted to make a simple water whip, but failed in doing so, he tried to go through the motions of a pretty basic movement, making unnecesary violent motions at the points where one attacks. "Waterbending is always in a balance Taizen." Taikai said, appearing behind him, he looked at Taizen kindly, which only made Taizen scowl more.

Taikai made a ball of water, and moved it around in circles in front of him, his speed not changing pace at all. It was all timed, and, Taizen had to say: perfect. "You need to have balance: 100% soft, or 100% Hard, Softness is the key to most waterbending in steam. Hardness, is essential to most waterbending in ice. And the balance is important in waterbending in liquid. Regardless of what you are working on, your speed must be precise." he showed this by increasing his speed, he started going very fast, with inconsistencies. The ball of water he moved started to deteriorate slowly, until finally. he had nothing. "it also needs stableness of mind; If your mind is tumultuous, so to will be your bending. Taizen glared at the man. "Or, you can continue being angry, that's fine to. but, what is not fine, is harming others..."

Music filled the air in festive joy. People gathered around a large bonfire, dancing, singing, sitting and simply enjoying life. Children scrambled, playing games and dancing along with the adults, equally enjoying the music and movements. Among the folks sitting a group of five children, in a semi-circle. Cheerfully the two girls watch as the three boys horseplay, the youngest girl braiding the eldests. The eldest of the boys jumped into the eldest's face who reaches out to poke the boy's face in retalliation. Laughter errupts as the other two boys go to the girl's rescue by tackling the eldest boy to the ground. After a few moments of wrestling with each other the younger two boys are summoned and they dart off towards a large man, kind in face and strong in stature. The two girls sit in watch as the father figure and the two younger sons weave into the people dancing. Eventually the two girls where coaxed into dancing as well by the eldest boy.

Her eyes crept open, the sound of music and laughter fresh in her mind that she had to actually look around to make sure she wasn't still dreaming. She barely remembered climbing up into the tree and settling down on the branch..what she didn't remember was falling asleep. Her arms tightened against her chest as she tried to warm herself up. Despite the cold she felt warm hearted. Maybe her family's spirit was trying to aid in distress? She would of liked to think so.

She scolded at herself. How could she let someone, anyone, upset her this much? Specially HIM. Pff. Souk-souk. Maybe she nicknamed him wrong..definately too 'affectionate'.

Her head sluggishly lowers as she stares at the branch of the tree. She should return to the temple but she had no physical strength to move. She made no move to leave the comfort embrace of the tree, instead she just looked out over the area, staring empty at what was in view. Eventually she would head back to the temple but for now..she would watch the stars and the dawn approach.

Taizen scowled some more, and Taikai watched him with a stern look, making Taizen feel like he was getting some sort of disaproval from his grandparent, or something similar. "Well?" Taikai asked. The already deep scowl on Taizen's face could, if possible have gone deeper. "'Well' What?" He growled.

Taikai snorted disaprovingly.
"Taizen, you are not scaring me. Have you always scared people away with that face? Because I must say it is quite ugly." Taizen scoffed in reply. "Miss niima has been acting very kind to you, and as I walk down the halls, I see her infuriated, a while later, I find you sulking, and-" He paused to let his words have affect. "-I find you, bending like a two year old."

Taizen's pride flared up; "What do you know about pride?! All you might know about, is shame! I saw you trying to heal your back! I saw how you were angry about me mentioning it! I saw-" "You saw, a man, crippled with the pain of rheumatism, the rarest of diseases for the watertribe. And you also saw, a middle-aged man, swallow, his pride." Taizengot up, feeling like a good water whip to the head would unrattle the man's brains, but instead he just glared, before stomping off. "Humility is a virtue! And humbleness, is a strength!"

The sun was soon to rise, and Taizen felt angry, and hungry, and beginning to feel tired. He kicked a lump of snow, sending it flying into a tree, which he grunted at, and sat underneath, inhabitants of the tree be damned!

Forgive him..

It kept toying at the back of her mind as she rested, the chill having well gotten to her but she just didn't want to return to the temple yet.

"Pff. Forgive him? Why?" she whispered to herself.

Because, everyone in their own way struggles with something in their life..apparently Taizen's way to stay 'safe' from struggles is to push people away.

"Bah...I'm talking to myself...."

But the voice was right. Scratching her forehead she paused and looked at her pale fingers. Ew. That wasn't good. She was going to get frostbite at this rate. She already had, but not to her knowledge, blue lips.

"..He's not worth freezing over.." she mumbled as she started to shift on the branch. THUD! A lump of snow smacked her bum. What is the luck of that? Shocked, she turned too quickly and nearly fell off the branch. Hands grasped at the branch to steady herself and her eyes shot down below.

Oh well hell. What fate was teasing her?! There was Taizen, apparently blindly stumbling into her lil nook.

Pff.

Hmm.

Lowering her leg she kicked the lower branch, dropping a pile of snow down on him. HA! And she was able to stay hidden in her white sanctum above while getting revenge for the snowball, unknown that it wasn't really aimed her way.
