"Keep your friend in check. Or you may find him rotting under a bridge."

She sheathed her sword. A painful game of darts waited in his future. That she knew. He would mess up and she would get to chain him to the barrack's wall and slowly kill the fool.

"You will follow the laws of Tamriel you fat cliff racer. Or you're gonna find yourself staving to death, alone in the Imperial Prison with some idiot laughing at you from another cell as you're castrated. I know nothing of this woman and I have a feeling neither does Jikem."

She said to them as she turned and left. She was secure. Her armor was enchanted to reflect 50% of the damage done. So if he hit her he would too feel the pain.

Zhavajango laughed good-naturedly, clutching his belly as he tagged along from a distance "Cliff Racer? That's rich! I am in no way related to those beasts, b***h, but, I assure you, if it will aid my mission's completion, then I will follow your rules. Oh, and one more thing, if you don't know of Zhalavidra, then perhaps you could grace me with knowledge of where I can find Jikem? He has allied himself with the Dragonian woman in the past, and I am sure he will lead me to her. If you would grant me even a hint as to how to find him, I would not only follow your rules, but I would accompany you as yoru servant for the time being." He eyed the boy playfully "And I give you my word that I will not touch your boytoy unless he gives me permission, upon my honor as Crown Prince of the Pterons." H walked a few paces and placed his arms behindhis head, surveying the area "I can smell your caution around me, and it is well-placed. If you are so worried about me slipping up, then how abotu you tell me some of the rules of this place? I haven't been here since I was a small child, and I have heard that even the Emperor has been succeeded."

"I don't know where he is at the moment and I'm not allowed to speak of it even if I do know, as with the Emperor. Anyway you following me would only be a burden."

With that she slid down another slop to the water's edge and looked at her map and a compass. They were heading south Toward Leyawin and the Black marshes. She walked into the water until it was up to her neck. her heavy armor allowed her to stay on the bottom. At that point she began to swim. It was as though she wasn't wearing armor at all even though it easily double her weight and then some, not including her other gear. The boy followed and stayed close to her. She was going to travel through the water system.

Zhalavidra arrived at Mournhold that evening. She grabbed a bite to eat at the tavern, then headed off toward the Capitol. This time, she would take no mercy if she happened u[pon slave traders. Her next stop would be Cheydinhal, and she hoped she might find some more information as to the whereabouts of Ral as well as possibly get some clues about hwer mission. She had been briefed by her mother shortly before setting off, and tis was not simply a vacation; she was to see the New Emperor to re-establish the camraderie among the Dragonia and the Empire in tamriel, just as her mother had doen before her with the previous emperor.Plus, she was also suppose to investigate the rumors of a possible Oblivion Gate that was attempting to be opened somewhere in Solstheim, that also connected to Verus Pondera. Such a thing would be quite bad, and she was to stop it from happening at all cost shoul the rumors prove true

"Eh, tough crowd....till we meet again, I suppose" Zhavanjango looked on with a mirthy grin as they left, then headed off back into the city for a drink at the tavern. He wasted no time in cozying up to an Imperial Official who worked at the palace, and within an hour he was in the man's bed, there to stay for the night

Ral had stopped in Cheydinhal for the rest of the day to rest. He hadn't had a chance sleep in a couple of nights. So he had bunked down in one of the several inns. He woke up just before sunset, and just before the blacksmith closed. He would make the necessary repairs to his armor and weapons before he left the next day. He went into the black smith and came out a while later. The door locking behind him. There were many Dunmer here. He had been here once before but it was on business and he had been unable to stay for more than a meeting with th baron. He walked toward the river that ran through town and jumped in off of a bridge. There he relaxed floating on the surface, face down. He ejected all of the oxygen keeping him afloat and sank down to the bottom.
Kasumi to hadn't had much sleep in the last few nights. Here and the Altmer boy stayed in an inn located half way to Leyawin from the Imperial city. It was called the Bad Luck inn. She payed for two rooms and went upstairs to her room. She walked into the room and fell asleep.

Zhalavidra arrived a while after sunset, and she was quite tense. She placed her stuff off inside a bush, then observed the river as she crossed a bridge, and without hesitation, removed her cloack, stripped down to her loin coverings, and doved into the water. It was cool and refreshing, neither freezing nor hot, and she felt rejuvenated as the smooth water ran across her skin. She swam about, splashing a bit, enjoying herself, not even paying attention as her foot slammed into the back of Ral's head underwater, her sharp toes scratching at him unintentionally. In her state of enjoyment, it was nothign more than a fish swimming by, and she dove out of the water sharply, then back under with a smile on her face.

Had it not been for Zhalavidra stepping on him he wouldn't have noticed. She was lucky she didn't step on his spikes. He swam quietly away from her and began to surface. His large shoulder spikes surfaces first. A few seconds later the two foot long spikes gave way to smaller spikes and soon scales. He broke the surface and floated for a second before standing upright.

Zhalavidra surfaced and came to float on her back. Her eyes were closed, and she sighed longingly "Ah, mother, if only Verus Pondera could be this tranquil at night.....I will make you proud, mother, and I won't allow those damn filthy birds to aid in opening Oblivion again..." She floated about, loating mere inches from Ral's front. She was unaware of his presence, and thought herself to be alone "I wonder what the new Emperor is like....probably a handsome young man with long flowing hair and a tight butt.....no, perhaps he is an old fossil just like before, and he'll let me sit on his lap and tell me stories of his youth" she giggled slightly, thinking about her childhood visit to the previous Emperor

"Strange woman."

He said before he walked back over to the shore.

Zhalavidra turned as she heard someone hti the shore. She spotted Ral, and her face lit up slightly with a smile "So, were you just going to run off without even so much as a hello? You never change, do you, Ral-jikem." she giggled slightly, swimming over to him "It's good to see you, how have you been?"

Ral stopped. He didn't remember much about his days in Parleur. He had been incredibly busy since being made a Blade. He rarely had to to think back.

"You know me. But who are you?"

Zhalavidra's smile faded. she giggled awkwardly, slightly taken aback "What do you mean, Ral? It isn't polite to play such games with me, especially after all we had to deal with" She knew he had to have been pretty busy the past year; he was a blade now, and such was a tiresome and busy occupation. Still, one with intelligence such as his should not be so easily forgetful of an ally who fought alongside her but a year ago. Truthfully, she felt as if he was playing a joke on her by feigning forgetfulness. Still, she knew it was possible he had truly forgotten "Have you really remained in this realm since that day?"

"In all honesty those days are all a blur to me. My duties as a Blade keep me in Tamriel and usually very busy traveling the empire. Not that anyone here knows how to travel between worlds aside through Oblivion gates and other Daedric portals." He grabbed a fish with his hand from the river bank as he spoke. He bit it's head off and consumed it as when he finished speaking.

Zhalavidra turned away as he savagely devoured the fish "Well, it's good to see at least your beastly way of eating has not changed....er, anyway, I am here on business, as my mother before did with the previous Emperor of Tamriel, I am here on Diplomacy, to establish decent grounds with the Empire, so that my people can trade with him. Therefore, I am headed to the Empire currently to meet with the Emperor. But, one of those damn filthy-a** Pterons, seems to be tailing me, and I am sure his intentions are anything but trustworthy. Be on the lookout for a fat filthy birdman with bad manners and an ego problem, I daresay he is quite the charismatic speaker, but do not be fooled by his deceitful words, he is no ally" She pat him on the shoulder "I must take my leave, before someone makes off with my things, it is good to see you are doing well, perhaps I will see you again after my dealings with the Emperor. Farewell, and good luck with whatever mission you are currently tied up with" She bowed, then turned and left the water, and grabbed her stuff. Luckily, it was untouched, most likely because of the many guards on patrol, and she headed to her room to rest for the night
