Like everyone else, Ford! I don't know why, he's just so... Ford-ish. And in close second, a tie for Marvin, Eddie, Colin, the elevator, or the robots who sing the "Share and Enjoy" song (there's something about robots that makes me laugh...). And the Allitnils from the radio show (I don't know why).

Spike_Theta Sansei FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD heart FORD It's like the spam song, but sexier. mrgreen Lovely Ford, wonderful Ford~! 4laugh *sings along, loudly and out of tune* And Wingnut, I love the singing robots too. If you get the DVD of the TV show, there's a special feature where you can see them recording the song. And running into unforseen difficulties on the way.

*starts singing a flat fifth out of tune* Quote: Share and Enjoy Share and Enjoy Journey through life With a plastic boy Or girl by your side Let your pal be your guide And when it breaks down Or starts to annoy Or grinds when it moves And gives you no joy 'Cause it's eaten your hat Or has sex with your cat Bled oil on your floor Or ripped off your door And you get to the point You can't stand any more Bring it to us, we won't give a fig. We'll tell you 'Go stick your head in a pig'. I laughed so hard when I heard that song... I'm surprised I didn't wake up everyone in the house (it was 1 AM at the time).

Ah, Sirius Cybernetics... but anyway, Ford is definitely and above all else my favorite. And then Zaphod, and Collin (such a cute little security droid thingy)And That hooker Ford spoke with, the one who caters to people who are guilty about being so darn rich

Aah, I love Arthur because of his tea fetish. It's totally normal. I understand his pain. 3nodding
And Ford is a God. Yes, well, he's just so off-the-top silly, yet at times the most rational character next to Trillian. Well... not so often, but at times! I think that somewhere hidden inside him is a desperation to find a purpose in his life. Psychologically, knowing his family life and choice of vocation, I'd say he's probably pretty philosophical if you could sit him down and make him have a calm, intelligent conversation.
....Which is very unlikely, so he's silly and funny and totally irrational so we fans love the bejeezus out of him! heart

::deep breath:: Ford is the best character ever in the history of the universe ever. Even better... if there were 42 Fords running around... ...and one confused Arthur to watch them all. So he's the best character ever. Him and Arthur, with his love for tea. So that's all: Ford, Arthur and Trillian, because she owns Zaphod. So for those reasons, Ford, Arthur, Trillian, and Marvin with his [sarcasm]infinite love for life[/sarcasm]. Yeah, so those are the characters I love--Ford, Arthur, Trillian, Marvin and Random. Just because she's so random. Those are my favorite characters: Ford, Arthur, Trillian, Marvin, Random... *pant pant* Yeah, that's it.

GuffenCom Marvin ofcourse smile My favourite part of the book('s) is when he talks to that police ship, and it comits suicide. Thus saves the lives to the gang razz and I love the bit where he goes "three times last count" or something to that effect. Marvin's great! So's all the drink machine (which produces something like - but not quite, tea) all the doors and elevators, the people of Krikkit, Trillian (for being smart), and Zaphod (for having really funny lines). mrgreen

Eddie rules! Why because he is Eddie and without Eddie who would make all of those annoucements? Hmmm think of that! However I was rather disappointed in the movie when Eddie didn't start singing when the heart of gold was getting attacked but thats ok because Eddie still rules.
Ford rules too, I mean how many people can jump out of the top of a 25 story building twice and live to talk about it? Well he didn't really talk about it did he? Which is to bad because if he would have talked about it it would have been great. Wait he did talk about it to Arthur didn't he? Damn it I need to read the books again! But no I had to lend it to my friend to refuses to read it and refuses to return it to me!
