"GAAAH." Austin sat down fairly flustered.
"It's just not worth it Sunrise." Emily's voice was soft and kind. "You have too many friends to take your life."

(Yah, and Austin's lost his patience. Emily's fighting to keep hers at the moment.)
"Sun, I'm not just your friend. I'm your sister remember? And since I'm you sister you have two sisters and four brothers." Emily faught to keep from screaming. "If you don't think friends are enough to stop the pain, are siblings enough?"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Sunrise screamed through the tears. She buried her face in her hands as her shoulders started shaking.

"I know she's trying to help," Sunrise said weakly, her face still in her hands. "I'm sorry...I'm just not myself right now...I hate it when I'm like this, but I can't help it...I wish I wasn't, I do...It scares me to know I'm thinking about suicide with such a sense of rationality it actually starts to make sense!"

"You probably have a mental disorder Sunrise." Emily spoke seriously.
"What the #e!! is a mental disorder?" Austin was confused, and very frustrated.
"It's a life long thing muggles get, and even though Sunrise is a which, she could still get one since she lives the muggle life, and she was raised muggle. I know I became bipolar after my father died this summer. That's why I tend to have heavy mood swings now. You've seen them. I can be laughing my head off one second, and yelling or crying my lungs out the next." Emily spoke softly and slowly for Austin. "There's one called depression, and Sun might have that."

Sunrise nodded silently, unable to speak for the tears in her throat. She swallowed several times before speaking again.
"I'm almost certain I do...I just don't have the time...or the money...to see a doctor or...or a shrink or a therapist about it," she said in a hollow voice.
"And don't you dare say anything about letting the authorities taking my dad to an asylum Emily!" she snapped afterward, knowing it would happen if she didn't. "I already lost Mum, I cannot lose my dad."

"Even though my mum is really strict sometimes, I love her, and I don't think I'd survive without her." Emily wrapped Sunrise in a tight hug.

Sunrise didn't respond, just leaned on Emily's shoulder, feeling the comfort that her own mother had taken from her so many years ago.

Emily just held her quietly and began to sing.

Austin smiled and wrapped his arms around Emily and began singing himself.
