My spirit guide's name is Alec. I'm aware that's not his real name, but the name he tried to give me I couldn't grasp nor pronounce, so he finally gave up with an irritated look and told me to call him Alec.

He's got long, straight, black hair that he sometimes wears up in a pony tail, almost like a samurai. He has violet eyes, and is pretty pale, and almost always has a smirk on his face. He's about 5'7" or so, lanky, and dresses in dark clothes. He also has black, feathery wings that are really soft. whee

He's VERY sarcastic, and it took some time for me to warm up to him. I met him in a series of dreams almost five years ago. He can be a little overprotective, but he tries not to show it, and often acts a bit flippant. But he's cool. heart

Curious, can someone have more then one gaurdian? Not sure if it's been answered allready or not, but to tell the truth I've been talking to two people ever since I got really ill as a child (age 5 I believe) and allmost died. Infact my mother said I used to ask her about stuff that happened no where near where I was, and I told her my friend told me, when no one came to visit.

It's a widely accepted that people have more than one guide of gaurdian. I've actually heard that there can be up to 12 standard "positions" for various spirits to fill.

I myself have been told I have at least three human entities, and at least two or three animals.

I can't really talk to them, or understand them, but the one I am closest to, Aru, I can feel physically. Like, I'll be sitting on the sofa, and just know he's sitting on the armrest next to me, so I'll put my head on his "knee". Once I felt him brush my hair, and another time I was lying in bed and felt his hand on my waist. Still no luck in being able to talk with him though. I've had some more luck with meditiating, and while I can't hear him (or even "hear" him), I can sense his thoughts when I meet him in mediation, which has only happened twice. Both times however, have been very helpful.

I've never given it much thought 'til I started reading this thread, but I'm wondering if the "other voice" in my head is some form of spirit guardian or something. For as long as I can remember, I've had two-sided conversations with myself - I'd say something, then I'd reply to myself, simple as that, but I could always differentiate one voice as "me", and one voice as "the other guy" (because it's a far more sarcastic, bitchy kind of voice). When I address me/him, pronouns also tend to just get thrown about at random, since I've referred to him as "I", "you" "us" and "we".

Maybe it's some sort of queer Jungian process in my head, maybe I'm neurotic, maybe it's a spirit guide. Methinks I'll look up a couple more techniques as to how to properly meet spirit guides and see. :U

I was mediting one night and i did see my spirit guide.....this may sound wierd but.......... sweatdrop my spirit guide was a vampire/angel and was a he.....he's name is Gabriel.....

he looked abit like this sweatdrop except he was wearing victorian clothes.....i hope u don't think im mad..... sweatdrop

I have two guides that I've met...

One, whose name I cannot pronounce nor spell, is a big beefy guy, and I call him the protector.

The other one, the one that I'm much closer to, is a lady, in a nurse's uniform, that dates back to circa WW1, and she and I are quite a giddy couple. She's helped me get past some of the more trecherous parts of life, and helps me cope with my accident prone nature.

The other one's, I kinda know that they exist, but I've never contacted them, or they didn't want to be contacted, and I tend to take their word for it.

actually meeting and communicating with ur spirit guide is quite smple. meditate on what u think ur spirit guide might be. typically it is an animal of sum sort, tho not nesseccarily realistic. it could be a fantasy creature. however this is not always the case. it could be sum1 u luved very much and now watches over you
