Cyndir frowned as Renji tried to shake him off again, still not saying a word. He bit his lip, hurt all the more by his best friend's rejection. He stood up, reaching out to catch Renji's wrist. How would he get through to him?
He missed the boy's wrist by a hair, and nearly stumbled at Renji took off.
"Ren! Ren-kun! Wait!"
Cyndir slumped in defeat, and turned to look at Sanzo, more tears in his eyes.
"I...I don't know what to do..." he said, staring at the ground.
Michale sighed. He hadn't any idea how to comfort someone. But they both had two hours before class.
"Come on, Angel. Let's go back..."
He could feel the boy practically unable to stand, so he scooped him into his arms, his light body little to no burden for the bigger boy, and carried him out of the auditorium.

Miko shook her head. She had no answer to give Ayumi, and right now, her sunny disposition failed even her. Poor Sydnie. Poor New girl...Poor Ajiro... Poor Sohie..... Why did the name Kaden sound so familiar. She blanched as she relaized he was the boy they had met the other day. So many people, it was beyond disgusting.
Rising to her feet, she rubbed the back of her hand across her reddened eyes. She didn't look anywhere in particular, just scanned the thinning crowd. Without meaning to, she foud Kazuma. He looked horrible. There was some Red headed girl sleeping on his shoulder. What kind of horrible person could sleep through all of this? Furious she made her way over, not looking bck at Ayumi or Nyas, shoivng past anyone who didn't move fast enough.
Her speech was already forming before she even made it across the auditorium, but men entering the auditotium in grey coveralls beat her there. She arrived just in time to see them lift the girl away from the seat, laying er on a stretcher.
Kazz remained still as the Clean Up Team took Gwen away. He had been reluctant to let go of her hand. She had been so strong....
It was then that he saw Miko, and the horrified expression on her face. he looked down at the floor, not knowing what to say. What was there to say. Nothing.... there wouldn't even be a memorial service for the girl, or any of those who'd died with her. They's be bagged up and shipped off to the nearest hospital morgue. Their rooms would be cleaned...their names removed from the directories...it would be like they'd never existed. ...It just wasn't fair.

Angel felt his body being lifted up and he couldn't even care anymore. His arms wrapped around Michale's neck and he buried his face into the boy's shoulder.
There was a large amount of noise between students talking and crying and everything, but it all came to be a dull murmur to Angel. He felt so weak and just....empty. He wanted to hide so much, just hide from everything and never come out....
"Thank you Michale" he murmured, his eyes squeezed shut against his neck

Sanzo rose from the chair and wiped his cheeks, composing his tall frame as best he could. He watched the exchange between Cyndir and Renji, and as much as he wanted to step in....he couldn't. He knew if he did, Cyndir would start to feel even worse.
"I'm going to my room Cyn-kun, you can come with if you like. I trust you still have my note, just drop pass with it later." He put a hand on top of Cyndir's head and kissed him on the cheek. "Don't let him get you too down Cyn-kun, you know how Renji can be."
Sanzo waited for Cyndir to rise from the floor. He would have knelt down to him, but the hard auditorium seats were killing his back.
Ayumi's eyes darted to follow Miko in her march against the wave of exitting students.
"Where's sempai going Nyas-sama? Can you take me back to the dorms?" Her eyes were red and her cheeks were stained with streaks of white. Why would her mother put her in a place that seems to feed off the suffering of others.

Renji heard Cyndir call after him. But he couldn't stop. He had to get away. He didn't even know where he was going. The boy just followed where his feet led him, his vision half obscured by hair and welling tears he refused to let fall. He wasn't going to cry for Syd, cuz Syd wasn't dead. Plain and simple.

Cyndir finally got up, wiping the back of his hand across his face, only to have more tears stream down. The whole place was oppressive anymore...It was almost as if the combined saddness of everyone mourning for the students weighed on his shoulders with a physicality that made his whole body ache. He nodded, as Sanzo asked about the note, and reached into his back pocket.
"H-hai...Sanzo-kun...I have it right here..."
He pulled out the note, only to have a small green card box tumble out as well. He picked it up, and his heart fell to pieces all over again. He looked up at Sanzo, tears in a never-ending flow down his cheeks. He watched the crew come in to take te bodies away...and watched one head to a seat a few rows ahead of theirs...He watched in horror as he saw a familiar face lifted onto the stretcher...
"S-Sanzo....." he quavered. "Isn't that....Gwen-san...?"

After a while Yoku just stood up and wanted to walk away, like nothing happened but then met eyes with Nyas and quickly looked down as if his eyes would kill more people.
"Where is Miko?" He asked her before he looked at back at the dead bodies.
Although he only knew their names, he would make sure of it they wouldn't be forgotten.
Morgi yawned and stretched herself before she stood up.
"Don't worry Jun, you'll get an copy and on Dvd ofcourse." She smiled slightly as she looked towards the stage, seeing the three bodies being placed on a cart
She couldn't wait until she would sell the copies of the tape inside the school amongst the students. That would certainly bring them down to their knee's.
Then she turned her face towards Akimoto again.
"But Sweety, don't you think thats the reason why i'm always refferring to you like that?" She said on a faked innocent tone before she waved everyone goodbye, making sure that she made a closeup from the faces of the dead students.

Nyas watched as Miko stormed off, and looked down at Ayumi.
"Looks like she's going to talk to Kazz...Hai, I'll take you back, Ayumi, just let's get Miko first...."
She turned when she heard a voice asking about Miko, and whirled, fist clenched, only to see the boy from last night.
"Oi...Yoku was it?" she said, scratching the back of her head. She pointed. "Miko's over there....looks like she went to talk to our friend...."
She felt her heart go out to the boy as he looked down, misunderstanding his reluctance to meet their eyes, as grief. "Musta been pretty rough on ya, eh kid? You ever have to watch someone die before? Hits ya something hard...."

Sanzo glanced over and saw her. It was Gwen, she had just been at his room the day before, and now she's being carted off like a piece of meat. He ran over to the stretcher and planted a kiss between the girl's eyes before she was wheeled out the door. "Arigatoo Gwen-chan....I'll miss you....I'm sorry...."
Sanzo turned back to Cyndir, tears streaming down his face. He hadn't even noticed the tears beginning to roll down his own cheeks. He walked back over to Cyndir and hugged the boy close to his chest.
"She was so nice Cyn-kun....Why did ******** idiot...."

Kenji stood up with the rest of the students, leaving the auditorium as soon as possible. He couldn't stand it there. He hadn't known any of the people who had been expelled personally, but he knew they'd probably had friends who were now mourning. And no one except them cared-- obviously not the headmistress. That was the sad thing. Midori's entire system of expulsion was just horrible.
However... there was nothing that Kenji or any of the other students could do about it. So he'd learned to live with it. This attitude may have come off as uncaring or flippant about the whole matter, but he was just trying to get it out of his head and move on with life.
He checked his watch in the hallway, seeing it was almost nine already. He didn't want to risk being late to gym, but he felt he should check on Kotone and tell her what had happened. She may have known the other students better than he had, and she'd want to know what had happened at the assembly anyway.

"No, I have...watched many people die" He said.
"But they weren't any friends of me, just names...Like them"
He nodded with hs head towards the bodies who were being removed.
"I believe Miko knew someone of them right?" He asked already knowing the answer a bit.
"You better be there for her to say she hasn't lost all her friends" With that he bowed to Nyas and Ayumi and walked off.

Cyndir felt as though he couldn't breath. His head was swimming...his vision was fuzzy. He had never seen a friend be expelled...and now two were gone...And his own best friend rejecting his help...Four others dead....And for what? He started to feel numb...Simply too much at once. It was overloading his ability to think, to comprehend. He felt Sanzo's embrace, but it was only with his peripheral senses. He felt far away...He looked up at Sanzo, eyes clouded and unfocusing.
"I...Sanzo...I feel dizzy..." his voice was barely more than a whisper. His skin had gone impossibly paler. He felt unsteady on his own feet...like the room was tilting sideways. He leaned heavily against Sanzo's body.

Sanzo nearly fell backwards as Cndir's weight shifted onto him. He felt heavy in Sanzos arms and it scared the hell out of him. "Oh no Cyn-kun....hold on...."
Sanzo turned and sat Cyndir slowly into a chair. "I'll get someone....hold on...." Sanzo ran to the closest faculty member he could find. "Excuse me could you help m...." He was shocked when he realized he had grabbed the jacket of Taiki-sama.
"Um....excuse me please....Taiki-sama....could you help....he's fainted and well, I'm quite sure you remember me from detention, I can't carry him back....sir...."
Akimoto turned as he felt the tug on the back of his jacket. To his surprise it was the thin kid from detention who took his licks without fighting back.
"Chojin, Sanzo, hai I remember you. Fine, where is he? It's part of my job you know." Akimoto followed Sanzo back to Cyndir, he knelt down next to him in the chair and looked him in his eyes. "Hey son, you okay? You look like you could use a little help there."

Cyndir hadn't wanted to let go of Sanzo...but he found himself unable to make his body obey him. Why did he feel so weak?
His mind was flittering from one thought to another...Every time he thought he had a hold on one, it shifted... Sydnie....Gwen...Gone...
It was like...being in a fog. And why was everything spinning? His body shifted sideways in the chair, trying to set the room to rights again. His eyes closed slowly, only to open again as he heard someone speaking. He couldn't make out the words. His dual-colored eyes turned towards Taiki, without recognition. His breathing was shallow, his eyes glassy. He shook his head, trying to focus, and it was the worst thing he could have done. It only made his head spin more and he slumped foreward, his slender frame nearly falling from his chair as his senses spiralled into blackness.

Akimoto caught Cyndir as he slumped forward in the chair. "Oomph....well, guess I got my answer." He hoisted the boy onto his shoulder and stood upright. He turned back to Sanzo and shifted the sucker around in his mouth. "So where to kid, he isn't getting any lighter and my breakfast is getting colder."
Sanzos eyes went wide as Cyndir went lifeless in the chair. And was left awestruck as Taiki-sama slung Cyndir over his shoulder like a rag doll.
"Uh....um....B-12 sir....I'll lead the way Taiki-sama....Thank you again...." Sanzo bowed as deeply as his sore back would allow before turning and leading them out of the auditorium towards the boys dorm.
