*the tunnel was slowly getting darker and it was becoming harder to see for the Doctor, Nate and LF*I can't see a damn thing in this darkness*said Lt. Flibble, he sounded frustrated. Suddenly two red lightning bolts burst out of Flibbles eyes and hit the wall, iluminating the room for a split second*oh dear*said lieutenant flibble quietly*

*Lt. Flibble paniced slitely, he was shooting blind. He fired into a random space lighting the room for a second, enough time for him to see where he was shooting, he shot at what looked like a tentacle. The tunnel like corridor was filled with the sound of burning and there was a shreiking from the creature, then the room was dark and silent once more*
((I apologize if I spelt anything wrong there, I was typing fast EDIT:I changed some of the words to make more sense of the post))

((I was waiting for someone to advance the story a bit before jumping back in, since I hadn't a clue where to go from here...))

Nate pulled out a small flashlight, turned it on, and aimed it in the direction where Lt. Flibble had fired upon the amorphous entity. "Doctor, look, it's Rose!" He rushed over to her prone body and checked for a pulse. "She's unconscious, but alive!"

"No one move! Hands in the air!" someone shouted. Nate looked up and saw that he and the others were surrounded by a group of men armed with rifles.

"Now now, Major Blake, there's no need to resort to violence. I know this girl. But where's her friend, the Doctor?" She walked up to Nate and offered her hand. "Harriet Jones: Prime Minister. How do you do?"

*lieutenant Flibble walked to her and pointed at her*I recognise you. The satellite I was stationed on picked up some transmitions you sent to the ministry of defense some weeks ago*he said. He smiled and held out his hand/wing to be shook*Jarguu Flibble. It's a pleasure to meet you*he he said happily for the first time in a while*

Harriet Jones absentmindedly shook Lt. Flibble's wing. Had she not been so thoroughly confused about the Doctor's new appearance, she probably would have questioned why a pengiun was talking to her and shaking her hand.


Harriet rushed over to Rose's side. "Rose! Oh, good heavens, thank god you're okay! This man, is he really the Doctor? And where has my Doctor gone?"

Before Rose could answer, Nate interrupted in hushed tones. "Shhh!!! Do you hear that? Some sort of soft scraping sound. And a weird odor in the air. I don't think we're alone..."

"Stay in there?" Rose snapped, "When everyone else gets to chase down monsters? I don't think so!"
She hurried over to Harriet Jones.
"Harriet didn't get to be Prime Minister by staying at home and keeping her nose out of things! Right?"

"Quite..." replied Harriet, staring at the Doctor, "Now, you are who I think you are, aren't you Doctor?"

"He is," replied Rose, "Though he seems to have forgotten a few things since he got his new body. Like the fact that I don't sit around in the TARDIS waiting for him to save the universe. Anyway," she frowned at him, "Look what happened last time you left me behind!"

Upon hearing Rose's snap at him, his face fell even more (if that were even possible). Rose always had a mind of her own, that's one of the things that he liked about her. But looking inside his current form, he saw no indication that he would willingly let her put her own life in jeopardy. He looked down at the floor and kicked a pebble.

"I have an idea where they are," he said. He pointed further down the tunnel without looking up. "Right down that way, but it should be me that should go down there....alone."
