||I'm definitely having fun. >:3||
"I am doing well." Xing Cai answered to Guan Xing, thankful for finally being able to get some help. She was hot and knew that once this battle was over that she would be exaughted. There was sweat dripping off of her chin and the tip of her nose, and she had to blink it away in an effort to keep it from distorting her vision. "It's good to see that you're here and doing well yourself! There has already been enough death so far." She took in a deep breath for strength as she watched as soldiers circled around her. She stayed her ground, not taking a single step back. She would not show any signs of withdrawing from this battle!
From out of the corner of her eye she spotted rams, they were trying to break down the gate! If they broke through then Xia Pi would be finished! "Set fire to the rams! Don't let them break through!" Xing Cai yelled out to the archers as she knocked away soldiers who were running towards her. More soldiers- they weren't ending!
Now Cai spotted a man coming out towards her. From his clothing she could tell that he was no ordinary soldier like the rest of these men. Would she be able to defeat this strange man? There was no room for defeat for her. If she were to lose she would be promising death to her army and shame for Shu. Cai brought her shield up to protect herself from a spear and then brought her foot up, tripping the man. She stuck her fork into him as he fell and then pulled it out, butting someone who was behind her and then stabbing them. Next she bashed in someone's head with her shield, which was no longer clean and shining silver. No, now it was covered with blood, just as her fork was, and shing because of the crimson that had stained itself onto it.
"How much longer can you last?" Cai panted to Guan Xing, praying that her cousin was still alright. "We must hope that someone comes to aid us!" She didn't dare say or else they would lose. Those words would never slip past her lips. "We must still fight!" I will fight just as bravely as her father and her uncle! Cai earned another cut, this one right across her cheek. Too close! She threw her next opponent aside, sweat flying from her skin as she pushed on. The men around her were so tightly packed that she couldn't even move forward - she was trapped in one spot killing them as they came. She had never killed so many soldiers before.... She would make these enemies fear her - fear Shu.

====Guan Xing/Minamoto Uesugi====
Guan Xing made sure to stay close to her as they fought on. He slashed a soldier in the neck, almost rendering it off with his spear. Then, he spun his spear in circles to clear away a crowd that was nearing very close, one soldier didn't move back and got butted in the head. Unconsious or dead, he did not know. Either way, it was one less enemy.
"I'm just warming up," Guan Xing said to answer he question. Another soldier came at him to impale him with a Yari, but Guan Xing grabbed it with his hands, got in close and knocked him down with an elbow to the face. To finish him off, he stabbed him in the chest with his spear, crushing his sternum and sending bone fragments all throughout the samurai's body.
He noticed Xing Cai's strength was waning. "Get back inside the castle," he warned her. "We should get everyone inside and bar the gates. Bring the battle to a more inclosed battle."
Another samurai came at them and swung his sword. Guan Xing went to block it when he noticed something strange about it. It was massive. Not as large as Guan Ping's but large all in itself compared to most swords. And because of the massiveness and weight, Guna Xing's block was knocked aside and he stumbled backwards.
The samurai didn't stop and went in for another blow, aiming right at Gun Xing's head. Gun Xing brought up his spear once again, and to his dismay, he spear splintered. The samurai began to draw back the sword again while Guna Xing brought out his longsword. His sword would stand no chance against the strength like this.
"Damn," he cursed. "What manner of demon is this guy?"

Guan Yu lead his army forward at amazing speed and within less than four hours they had made it to Xia Pi. They looked over the city and Guan Yu immediately gasped at what he saw. Part of the city was in flames and a terrible battle was raging outside the gates. He grasped his Blue Dragon firmly and held it out, pointing toward Date's army. "Go! Hit them on their flanks and destroy them swiftly! Watch their new weapons, they shoot fast!" His horse reared up and began a strong gallop toward the enemy army. It dove deep into the enemy lines, trampling dozens of unsuspecting samurai and was quickly followed by the rest of his army. He slashed out at the samurai and made sure to look around for any musketeers that might decide to direct their attention toward him. As he fought he looked back to see if Gan Ning and Xu Shu had made it with him.

Gan Ning came hot on the trail of Guan Yu, mopping up any and all that escaped his Dragon blade with a good thumping or two from his Sea Master. As he rode through the crowd of foreign soldiers he sang out loud, "Oh yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirate's life for me! A pirate's life for me!" he bellowed this at the top of his lungs, making soldiers around his horse quiver a little at the sheer bravery to sing as you battle. He road up alongside Guan Yu now, "Guan Yu, where are we going? Inside the city, or are we to find allies and protect them? I shall seek out Xing Cai if you let me! I've been itching for some action for a Lonnnnng time." Gan Ning chuckled as he slashed through man-after-man, leaving heads cleaved and bodies cut in half in his wake.

====Tadakatsu Honda====
Tadakatsu watched as cavalry came. His main force had yet to engage, waiting for the right time, this was the right time.
"Change of plans," he said. "We move to hold off the reinforcements." He pointed his spear forth and his men rode forward.

Yu looked to Ning as he sang out. With a grin he slashed through another man's neck and heard Ning's question. "We will stay outside the city but fight your way to the gate they are storming! Find Cai and I'll see if I can't find an enemy officer to rout, but make sure to kill as many as you can, SHOW THEM NO MERCY!" He ended with a shout as he jumped off of his horse. He didn't prefer to fight on horseback and actually enjoyed ground battle. His horse followed behind him as he fought his way through the crowd. If he needed to he would mount his horse again to ride off, but for now his steed merely followed him. Soldiers slashed out from all sides with katana and spear alike. He parried and dodged any attack that came his way and cut down the attackers as he had the chance. No musketeers were in sight so he could relax a little and fight the way he normally would. The Samurai were certainly brave to fight him as none of them scattered at the sight of the enromous God of War. They each rushed into battle bravely and were cut down by the mighty Blue Dragon. The sheer weight of the hundred pound weapon was enough to cut through a man, let alone the force delivered from the bearded man.
Guan Yu pressed his attack forward toward the gate. Cai wasn't in sight yet and he couldn't see anyone commanding the army atop the gate so she must either be in the fray or perhaps she had met an unfortunate fate. Yu wouldn't rest until he found out what had happened to her. Spearmen from Date's army thrust their spears out but Guan Yu leapt forward, spinning his Dragon as he did so. The spears got caught in the twisting shaft and either splintered and flew away or the man holding it got his arm twisted and broken. The kill count at the bottom of the screen went up quickly ((sorry, I just had to do that)) as he slashed forward. He could not let them get the advantage since he was more or less surrounded with the acception of his horse so his rampage through the Samurai would not slow for some time. Meanwhile his army was pressing forward behind him but a rush from inactive Japanese soldiers was now preventing them from pushing forward too quickly.
Date watched as a new soldier fought forward and attacked the man who had joined the young lady he was heading toward. "Huh... let's see how he does." Date said to himself as he slowed his advance. He watched the fight from horse back when suddenly he heard shouting coming from the west. He looked over to see enemy reinforcements pressing the attack right toward him. At the head of the army was that man from before! The giant with the long beard had returned and with a sizable army that could indeed throw things off for Date's plans. Just as he was about to send a unit to help fend them off he noticed Tadakatsu Honda's army moving out to face them. "Perfect..." he said as he turned to the gate again. "Continue pressing the attack! Get those ladders up! Use the metal latches to hook onto the wall so they can't cut them down! Continue the ram attack!"
Date's men carried out his orders and assembled ladders with metal hooks on the tops of them. They raised up the ladders and they latched onto the walls as men began to climb up. Meanwhile the ram struck the gate again. The gate was still holding up but eventually the rams would work. Some rams were on fire but the samurai were able to extinguish them pretty quickly.

"Yes, Guan Yu, I'll find Xing Cai and protect her, don't you worry about that!" Gan Ning did a somersault off his horse, he liked more to fight on the ground like Guan Yu. He slashed through the necks of various soldiers, and ambushed a small unit consisting of five soldiers on foot, and one on horseback. He cut off the head of the horse soldier, and kicked the horse to start it up, it trampled over three of the five soldiers, breaking their bones loudly and violently. The other two men came charging towards him, he flipped over one and slashed his back in a cross, letting the blood drip down his back and Ning's sword. The other one swang his weapon at Gan Ning's head quickly, but didn't count on him blocking it and grabbing the soldier's sword with his free hand. It was a long sword, not as curved as his own, but it would do for now. With this the foreigner tried to run away, but Ning threw the sword at his back at high velocity, piercing his heart. As the soldier lay dying he spouted out one last thing, "Yo-u...are a great warrior. It's a honor to be defeated by someone of such skill." Ning found this weird, but this soldier did seem nice, "Thanks." a large group of soldiers spotted him now, and he decided to high-tail it outta there. He raced around the castle, and spotted the main gate right in front of him. He saw two generals defending the front courageously, he squinted and made out the figures: A strange man, but, he was helping Xing Cai! Gan Ning ran now to their side, and spoke loudly right behind them. "You guys look like you need some help! I'd be glad to lend a hand."

The extra length from Musashi's tachi proved to be quite threatening with this attack. Benkei dropped his naginata under Musashi's weight and leaned back as well as he could to avoid the attack. Unfortunately, being as top heavy as he is, Benkei fell backwards in order to prevent a fatal injury at Musashi's blade. He quickly rolled back and reached for his katana, getting ready to lash out if he needed to.

====Tadakatsu Honda====
Tadakatsu's army reached the new reinforcements adn the infantry instantly began to fight them with a rushing charge. The new arrival of reinforcements brought up the moral of the troops fighting in there. Tadakats u didn't engage instantly however and reared his cavalry around and marched more northward. Then, as they cleared the battlefield, the reared around again and attacked the unprotected flank of the reinforcements.
"Cut them down to shreds!" he yelled out to his cavalry.
====Minamoto/Xing====
Minamoto brought his Do Dachi down on Guan Xing once again. Guan Xing blockd the blow with the help of both hands, and the two went into a lock. They pressed at eachother, but Minamoto was slowly gaining advantage. Guan Xing knew he was strong, but this man could probably give his father a real good match.
Guan Xing rolled out of the deadlock, barely escaping as the No Dachi crashed downward. Guan Xing was in a knelt position when Minamoto brought his sword up in an angle to land a blow. Guan Xing grunted with effort as he moved his sword to the No Dachi. The No Dachi knocked his sword out of the way, but Minamoto couldn't make a follow up blow.
This gave Guan Xing time again to take a stp back and prepare himself. Minamoto reset his position, and then charge furiously at Guan Xing. Minamot came once again to a downward strike. Guan Xing had to take this to his advantage. He moved his body to the right and slashed at Minamoto's stomache with all his strength. He first felt the soft feel of leather breaking under his sword, then a sudden thud as his sword clashed with steel leaving a dent, but not breaking. If Guan Xing knew he wore steel as well, he would have went for a different attack.
Before Guan Xing could do anything else, an elbow flew at his face from Minamoto, knocking him backwards and almost into Xing Cai and the newly arrived Gan Ning.
He breathed heavily and looked at the two. "Can I get some help here?" he said annoyantly. Not at them, but the sheer fact that this guy could give him a hard time.

This battle was growing even more intense by the minute. Without reinforcements, Cai feared what the outcome of the battle would be. But whatever would happen would be in the hands of fate. With more movements of her fork she killed more soldiers, knocking them aside. Then she heard a familiar voice... Gan Ning!? She blinked and glanced back after she'd pushed away those who in front of her and smiled. "It is good to see that there are reinforcements." She breathed, and with just a small glance to the other side she saw her uncle battling bravely close by. Thank the heavans! A new feeling of bravery filling itself into her body and Cai let out a battle cry, pushing her fork into a soldier's gut, threw him aside, and then moved her fork to stab the legs of the soldiers and then their necks. There was the sound of battle behind her, but she would have to trust him Gan Ning and her cousin to take of that.
Then she felt something brush past her: Xing had fallen! Was he dead? "Can I get some help here?" Cai's ears picked up the sound of Guan Xing's voice, a tinge of annoyance hooked onto the words. He was still alive! But he also needed help. Using her shield to block a spear and then cutting the spear man's arm off before killing him she turned around, standing protectively beside her cousin.
"Stay back." Cai warned Minamoto, looking the other warrior directly in the eyes. She would not stand down. "Those of Shu will not be stricken down so easily!"

Guna Xing took a moment and a struggle to stand. He had not expected to be thrown back, and put his efforts elsewhere aside from recovery. He got back up, and gripped his sword more tightly. "He's strong," he said. "But he also seems slow and stupid. He likes to come down in a vertical arc. If you can just dodge his attacks, then you should be fine, but remember his armor is not like the rest of these."
Guan Xing felt a little soreness in his body from all the fighting, and this man seemed to be fresh and anew. But with three on one, they could take him, they should be able to. He looked over at the newly ariven Gan Ning and gave him a wry smile. "So glad to see a friendly face," he said.

"Of course there are reinforcements, wouldn't want you to get hurt now would we?" Ning said this with a hint of a challenge in his voice, implying that perhaps Xing Cai was just slightly weak. "Ah, company!" Ning jumped to the side of Guan Xing quickly and stood nearby, "Hey, so who are you picking on Shu? I have a mind to cut your legs off and watch you struggle, pal." Gan Ning was getting himself fired up with this kind of talk, and was starting to grow a tad testy. "Glad to see you to Guan Xing, your father is right over there...." Ning pointed, "Kicking some a**." Ning chuckled loudly at this, his hair seemingly standing up more and more as he got angrier. He rushed straight at this new foe, sideways and cut swiftly downward at his unprotected side.

====Guan Xing/Minamoto Uesugi====
Guan Xing noticed that his spear was nearby. After noting his father, and a second of admiration, he went over to it and picked it up in his hands. It felt good to hold it again, he fought better with polearms and spears than with swords. He looked over to see Gan Ning already rushing the samurai, to no surprise.
"I don't plan on falling here," Guan Xing said and looked over at the samurai who had his attentions towards Gan Ning. "I'm still much too young."
Minamoto watched ast the man ran at him, he was faster than he first anticipated. The jingle of the bells on Gan Ning flooded into his ears as the space between them closed. He was going to move his No Dachi up to strike, but it was too late, Gan Ning was too close and coming in with an attack of his own. Minamoto did the only thing he could do and blocked the sword with his No Dachi. The stength surprised him at first too, but the surpise didn't last long as Minamoto pressed forward with both of his hands. Then, with a sudden burst, Minamoto surged upward, knocking the sword away from him, then as he reached up, he swung down to try and cleave Gan Ning's head holding the sword in his right hand.

"Ah, a strong fighter, I shall enjoy this one." Ning pressed his sword to this opponent's, before it unexpectdedly was knocked away from force. "Uh-oh." Ning rolled to the side to avoid the sword coming downwards at his head and threw a bit of mud in this man's face. "Arr, I be a pirate, matey." Gan Ning laughed as he watched to see what the man's reaction was to this blinding resolution.

((Oi... Yakuza is an evil but awesome awesome game.....))
The enemy reinforcements were rushing forward hard toward Guan Yu's army. He smirked some and turned his attention away from the gate. With Gan Ning over there we have more of a chance at defending the gate so I should focus on defending out own army. He thought as he turned to his left. Dozens of men rushed him head on and he quickly took a more defensive stance. They all slashed out at him with their swords and spears and he quickly got a feel at the way they attacked. "Not good enough!" He cried out into the air surrounding the army. He parried a few blows and thrust his blade into the ground, from there he swept it up toward the enemy soldiers, pelting them with rocks and dirt. He thrust his whole body forward, slashing out at the nearest man's neck. His head quickly flew off into the air and slammed into another samurai's face. The horrific happening caught the man off guard and stalled him long enough to receive the Blue Dragon in his chest. Yu slightly twisted the blade inside the man's body and swung it horizontally, lifting up the already man to use him as a club. He smashed the armored man into the enemy soldiers, knocking them to the side then quickly pulled his blade out in time to cut down two more men. "Come on... where's the challenge?" He said in a subtle taunting manor. He kept his eye out for anyone who would prove to be difficult to defeat.
With his cut through the air and nothing more Musashi watched as Benkei rolled back. Instead of pressing the attack he placed either foot on each side of the shaft of Benkei's naginata and slid his right toe underneath it. He lifted it up to his shin and clamped it between his legs, while maintaining grip on his tachi and wakizashi, then quickly spun around, slashing out at Benkei horizontally with the blade of the naginata.
