About 30 or 31 episodes of Gundam Wing so far, bought the boxset off Ebay
and still haven't finished watching yet. Oh yeah, watching it subbed of course.
Watched Gundam Wing Endless Waltz after only seeing 10 episodes of the series...my bad!
I own the manga Episode Zero, Blind Target, and Ground Zero. Hopefully I'll be able to get the others!
I've seen about...30(?) episodes of Gundam Seed but I stopped watching it after a while, it was way too soap-opera-ish for me. It's like they added in the Gundams for good measure.
Favorite Gundam Wing Character: Oh jeez...that's probably going to be Duo...there's just something about a guy with a braid. Heero's a close second though...then Trowa...ugh, I love them all!

HeeroxDuo all the way! Sorry...the whole reason I started watching Gundam Wing was because my friend let me read this yaoi fanfic with Heero and Duo and I just had to find out who these guys were! So yeah, these guys are my number one favorite pairing...ever, actually.
TrowaxQuatre If you haven't figured it out yet I'm a big shounen-ai/yaoi fangirl, heh. I love this pairing but sometimes they seem "too" perfect together. Well, in the fanfics I've read anyway.

Oops, no Relena! I'm not really that much of a fan of Relena but I respect her as a character to the storyline. Personally I think she's bashed way too much in the fanfics I read. I mean, c'mon, she's not that bad!

Why do I like Gundam Wing:
Funny how I started watching Gundam Wing because of a yaoi fanfic, isn't it? No? Okay, maybe not. But anyway, my friend had the first two DVDs of the series so I borrowed them and watched them. After that I got hooked. I saw Endless Waltz at Target for $19.99 so I bought that and watched it...and then I decided that I needed to see the whole series. Once I got some money I bought the boxset on Ebay, what? I'm not going to pay two-hundred dollars when I can buy it for fifty! And besides me obsessing over the guyxguy pairings its a wonderful series. Unlike everyone else I never saw it on Cartoon Network 'cause my family's tv only had...like...ten channels. But for some reason I recognized Duo when I first saw the series...I guess a guy with a braid must leave an impression on you?

Why do I like Gundam Wing:
My sister had a friend who was HUGE on the show. My sister tehn told me about it, and at first, I admit, I wasn't intrested. ...Then she told me about Quatre. She told me his looks, and personality, and even though I was in 5th grade, I fell in love instantly. Frankly, he STILL holds my heart captive. He's never let go ^^;
So, its because of Quatre that I love Gundams, Outer Space, and Mobile Suits :3 I'm the god of Mobile Suit games too! biggrin

Why do I like Gundam Wing:
I like Gundam Wing because it aired on Cartoon Network, and I had never seen anything like it before. I was always a fan of Giant Robots, but this one seemed interesting. So I checked it out, and it was cool. I dind't really get interested until Heero told Relena that he was going to kill her. At that point, I knew I had to keep watching or else I'd miss something. Then I fell in love with the show, and still try to watch it whenever I'm at my friend Brad's house.

I started watching it when it first came on Cartoon Network. I was immediatly hooked. The plot line was so awesome and it focused more on the battles than it did on the romance. I was glad of that since I didn't like Relena very much.

Favorite Gundam Wing Character: Wufei. Surprised? Don't be. I think he's a wonderfully complex character, more intelligent than many of the characters in GW, although a little naive. I firmly believe that he has a kind heart underneath all that harsh exterior. Plus he's perfect angst material 3nodding and very huggable too.
Favorite pairings: Well, GW has gotten me interested in yaoi, but long gone are the times when i was pairing up everyone with everyone. Nowadays there is only one yaoi pairing I'm really interested in: Heero/Duo (I'm not that much of a Relena fan, but I don't mind her either). Other than that: Treize/Une, Zechs/Noin, Trowa/Quatre. As for Wu.. I try to steer away from fanfics concerning him. Canon-Wufei doesn't makes sense to me: Wu blushing like a 5-year old? Pouting?? I think I've only read one fanfic in which he was in character. Wufei/Meiran is truly beautiful, but it makes me sad.
Favorite episode: Ep. 25 - Quatre vs. Heero. It was the first time I realised this series was more serious than anything I had previously seen. I mean, the ideas pictured in it were closer to a book about the philosophy of war.
Favorite Gundam: Uuuuum... I'll pick Altron because it is sooooo cool (silly reason, I know, but I swear I'm not biased)
Favorite Pilot: Meh... Heeero? He is the main character after all.

Why do I like Gundam Wing:
I'll have to agree with Colonel Une here: the last minute of the first episode got me hooked. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen up until then. And I sensed there must be something more to this series than just pretty boys or good music (although it has both 4laugh ) - an actual story, one with deep roots in today's society and history, even though it takes place in an alternate universe, with developed characters. I still can't explain how it happened, but to me there are two types of anime: GW and the rest. And i hope it stays that way.
