Avari holds his stomach after the lionsault, before falling on top of Drako for the pinfall to win!?

Drako once again forces his shoulder off the mat, barely avoiding the 3 count yet again

Avari was pushed to the side slightly by Drako pushing his shoulder up, a looking of exasperation on his face as the camera panned in.
What the hell did Avari have to do to keep the legend down?
Fusion rolled and sat with his knees up, arms draped over them, looking across at Damone.

Drako barely avoided defeat there. But the Soaring Dragon didn't come here to lose. Rolling to the side, he attempts to get his bearings again, trying to make his way back to his feet again

Avari started to make his way to his feet at the same time as Drako, studying his moves. He was hurt, but not down for the count yet.
Fusion would back up into a corner.. crouch down.. and try to strike with a Spear when Drako turned around!

finally to his feet, the challenger turns and finds the champion heading right at him for a spear. Drako attempts to leap over him, but not entirely, purposely aiming to land on his back and use his own momentum to flip him right into a sunset powerbomb, right into a pin attempt

Drako was able to deftly jump up and roll, right into a sunset flip powerbomb.. incredible from Drako!
The ref dropped for the pinfall ..
One!
Two!
Thr-!
So close, but Avari turned his shoulder up at the last moment to just about break the three count!

the force of the kickout forces Drako to fall backwards as well. Truth be told, that had been a desperation counter, not one he'd put a lot of thought into. Still, he rolls to his feet and now a clear idea has formed in his head. When Avari starts to stand, Drako would attempt a hard gut kick, followed by the Damone Shot

Fusion was staggered and stunned, but adrenaline drove him back towards his feet. He wasn't just doing this for himself, he was doing this for each and every fan who had paid to get a ticket to WWFG's final show.
As Avari turned around, Drako attempted to Damone Shot!
The Champ pushed Drako at the ropes, aiming to catch him with the Deific Effect Ranhei on the return!

shoved off to the ropes Drako rebounds and Avari seems to be looking to put him away. The Soaring Dragon is caught and it looks as if the Deific effect ranhei is about to take him down, until Drako spins out to the side, attempting to grab Avari's arm and pull him around as he switches his own finishing strategy to go for the Raining Fire

The crowd didn't know what to expect as Drako was able to spin out of the Deific Effect, and catches Avari with a kick to the gut.
He then attempts to drop down for a stunning Raining Fire, but the champ rallies and pushes Drako away into the ropes again - this time aiming to catch him with a Bull Hammer!

again Drako finds himself shoved off to the ropes and rebounds back, ready to go on the attack when he's suddenly clocked with a Bull Hammer, an unexpected move that drops the champ quickly

As Drako dropped so did the champ.. Right on top of Damone!
The ref counted for a pinfall, the crowd on the edge of their seats!

Drako isn't able to kick out this time from the surprising new maneuver as he's out flat on the mat. The champion has managed to retain in the final show of WWFG
