A few moments passed and the crowd continued to cheer for both men - whether babyface or heel, both competitors in this match were getting the praise that they deserved.
The former World Champion and the current World Champion, both giving everything they had.
The ref began his count.
One!
Avari shifted a little on to his side, but rolled back onto his back, not being able to move just yet.

Two!
Both men were taking it easy in the first count, but by the second count, one of the men began to make a bit of movement.
WWFGs current World Champion used his core strength to sit back up. Holding his head, which must be killing him after the amount of abuse from the rapid clotheslines and super stomp.

Three!
Avari grunted and shifted his weight so that he could eventually get onto his knees. He looked over at Omen, who was hurting as much as he was.
Four!
Time was running out quick, and both men had to get up.

Five!
Omen would roll on to his knees from the seated position, feeling a wave of nausea hit him as he rolled over. Maybe he was actually concussed after the nasty stomp, but regardless of the pain he was in or the damage his brain had received, the big man continued to move.
Six!
The official counted, Omen still on a knee, but he began to look around. Exploring what obstacle he could fall into or grab on to, to help him get to his feet.

Avari stirred late and had now made it to his feet. He was groggy, a little unstable, but he turned to face Omen and see where he was.
Eight!

Nine!
It was now or never, as Omen thrusted himself to his feet to break the count.
But when he got to his feet, he threw a giant right handed fist at his opponent who made it to his feet first.

Avari stepped forward towards Omen as he came back up to his feet, and was caught with a hell of a right hand.
It made Fusion stumble backwards towards the ropes, rebounding off them and coming back at Omen!

His opponent was quite literally on the ropes. Only for a moment before stumbling back at Omen who stiffened his right arm up, throwing it for a stiff lariat near the center of the ring!

Avari rebounds off the ropes and heads towards Omen, who throws out a hard lariat.
Fusion ducks and runs at the far ropes, rebounding again and attempting a Spear!

BOOM!
Despite the smaller stature of the man, Omen was on wobbly legs and was dropped by a hard spear. Leaving the champion clutching at his stomach, writhing in pain. The crowd were on their feet, this might be it!

Avari hit the spear, and the crowd were wild!
But.. Fusion knew that this wouldn't be enough to put away the Freak.
He got, as quick as he could, to his feet and ran at the ropes.. attempting to use them to rebound into a Lionsault!

When that thought crossed the mind of Avari, he probably didn't know how right he was in the moment. But it was about to him.
Not only was Omen still in the fight, but he sprung to his feet as his opponent ran to spring off the ropes. Catching Avari on his shoulders in a fireman carry. Leaving the crowd surprised at the agility of the big man, despite the absurd amount of damage he has taken in this match.

Oh.. s**t..
Avari knew he was in a bad spot now, as he was being carried by the Freak that is Omen. Many bouts before had him in no doubt that he was, indeed, in a heap of trouble.
Fusion tried to wriggle and struggle free!

Despite the struggling, Omen had full grasp of his opponent. And he had something evil in mind. Adjusting his opponent, he slinged him to one shoulder in an attempt to bring Avari down into the Tombstone Piledriver. A move that he had used prior to the Chokeslam. The Champion truly digging deep for this one.

Avari struggles, really struggles, as Omen attempts to bring him in to a Tombstone Piledriver.
He pushes himself off of Omen and lands awkwardly on his feet, aiming a stomp down on the back of the Freak's leg!
