I think it would take only a few seconds; I think I mentioned in another thread that I cosplayed as Kai - if only at home - complete with hair dye and the triangles. I used the method shown in the manga (a quick swipe with the thumb) and got pretty close to a 'perfect' face triangle; I just had to shape it out a bit more. biggrin But then, that's just the 'experiment' I conducted. 3nodding

True, it's difficult, but with some practice... xd There's a way you can get the lower 'fins' just right; it involves turning your head a bit so you can see how it looks in relation to the upper [larger] fin.
I think I've seen only one guy cosplay as a Beyblade character in public - and he was Kai! He didn't make it to the finals for the contest, though...

Yup, it's two-toned. I got two different colors of hair dye that time, and found where my bangs were exactly, then applied the dye. Also used some of my dad's hairgel. Man, it was a pain to wash off all the stuff...

Uh...BloodyFoxy? Kai's original hair color was two different shades of blue. It's obvious from the front covers of the manga (well, in some, he's supposed to have lilac bangs, but that's just uhg. xp )... just saying. 3nodding

*shudders*..now way im seeing Kai's hair look like Bryans! its just sick and wrong...and i guess its very dark blue that looks like black to me..

Yea, Kai's hair is blue. Though in V-Force it looks gray.
