(( KOKO PLZ rofl )) Kokonoi happened past the ofuda priestess again, bringing his collection up to five. He was pretty sure with this many he would be basically invincible. Just let the demon of the forest try and steal him away, it would never get past his squad of protection charms.

Amia had just gotten her third protection charm safely stowed away, when the sound of a crash could be heard not too far from her. Her eyes looked over in the direction the sound came from, seeing fur disappearing behind a building. On closer inspection, it looked like it was a decoration had been the cause of the noise. Amia knew the staff would take care of the mess from the ornament, so she continued to look around. She saw a priestess with some charms, this time some good luck ones. She went over and paid for a light one, thinking that might come in handy later as well. Once she was done paying, she thanked the priestess, before walking away. As Kokonoi collected more ofuda he got another weird feeling almost making him sick to his stomach. As he looks around find the source he notices that dark skinned priestess with jet black hair and dark eyes was stalking towards him. She apparently found him again and was determined to not lose him this time. Better move quick to get away! As Amia finished her transaction to get a good luck charm a distant loud noise caught her attention. This time it sounded like a bell, much like the one that was by the main building where people prayed. Perhaps someone decided to really ring it for once?

Getsumei's eyes widened as he heard a crash. And he whipped around to see a bit of fur disappearing in a flame. How odd. Something had knocked over the teacups at the stall nearby. He wondered just what had caused the incident and decided to keep a closer look out. He noticed Amia, and Kokonoi standing close to him. Had they seen what he saw? He gave them both a questioning look.

Well so much for being invincible. He suddenly felt that sick feeling again before he caught sight of the same menacing priestess from before. She looked unhappy with him. Yikes. He absconded into the crowd again.

Kokonoi successfully escaped. He mingled in the crowd for a while, just biding his time to ensure she was gone for sure.

Kokonoi decided he'd done a lot already. Now would probably be a good time to take a short break. If nothing else, it would keep his energy up for later.

As he ended his break, Kokonoi came across another priestess giving out ofuda. He happily added a sixth charm to his growing collection.

Kokonoi didn't come across anything interesting, but he did find a nice spot to sit for a moment. So he did. Sneaking around with this illusion up took a lot of energy, after all.

Amia saw Getsumei and she nodded to him, to let him know she had seen it too. Actually had been seeing it more than she would have expected, what did that fur belong to? She was in thought, when she heard another loud noise, this one distant. It sounded like a bell, like the one they had near the main building. Amia kept her eyes peeled for anything else out of the ordinary, when another priestess called to her. This one also had an Ofuda that they were offering to her, which she politely accepted. She thanked them and once the priestess left, put it where the others were. It seemed something was definitely spooking the priestesses here, if they felt all this need for protection for others. While taking a break Kokonoi ended up near some priests that were walking from the main building towards the docks where the ferry was. They were carrying a couple of bags full of stuff. "So glad I got the earlier shift so I leave now instead of during the the last run. Don't have to rush so much to grab all the things I need and end up forgetting something." The one said. "Yeah it really sucks getting the last shift. Such a madhouse to clean everything up while people are still milling about while they wait for the last ferry. I tell ya.... I had someone watch me empty a bunch of trash and put new bags in just to throw some trash at my feet." The other said getting mad, "It's people like them that I wish would miss the last ferry and then we wouldn't have to worry about them ever again." The other priest shook his head with a disapproving look. "Hey man wishing another person to just disappear isn't good. You're supposed to be a priest too... Don't let the others hear you talk like that." Getting ample amounts of Ofuda from a priestess (was it the same one or were there multiple of them that look alike handing out Ofuda?!), Amia would hopefully be well protected for tonight. A loud shout sounded nearby as someone yelled out as they fell down. A few people nearby laughed but the person insisted that they were tripped, that something furry dashed in front of them and tangled up in their legs. Dea and #Teddy# Just realized you were tracking the good luck charms too. Those are just trinkets to collect. Only the Ofuda need to be tracked as they may come in handy in the next part.
