The Cuban-Japanese Mixture of Flesh and Bones managed to escape the biggest threat of the match thus far. Hiro wouldn't remain motionless for too long as he got to his hands and knees shortly after Jamie had rolled to ringside. His opponent needed a second to get himself back together, and that whole "time moves different in a wrestling match" was on full display here. It felt like Hiro had been given plenty of time to re-energize himself in a matter of seconds, working his way to his feet with help from the ropes. He leaned over and thankfully Jamie was too busy grimacing to keep full attention on him. There was now an opportunity for Hiro to try something he just saw recently in a match in WWF:G at Judgement Day. Grace Fatsumoto and Ewing Winters had made their debut in a highly regarded encounter, and at one point, Grace had taken to the sky rather impressively: she had a spot where she leaped directly from the ring to the top rope and took flight -- and despite never even thinking of doing something like that, Hiro was feeling himself here.

The Ethnic Enigma took a few steps back to center ring and went full sprint on his ailing legs, leaping and to the shocked gasps of cheers of a supportive crowd he actually stuck the landing for a moment, standing tall on the top rope...but he instantly began to lose his footing and tumbled forward to ringside, landing right on top of the Snake! Hiro took less of the fall, but regardless, it was now a certified car wreck at ringside. This is why we don't try new things in high profile matches, folks.

Hiro was able to accomplish what he wanted, just INCREDIBLY haphazardly. He got up slowly falling into the barricade as he did so -- he had to use it to get himself to his feet fully as fans would pat him on the back as a way of saying "Hey, good effort pal." Hiro blew some more snot and blood from his nose and to ringside, the lights shining down on his body to show his whole chest soaked in a mess of blood and sweat from his own crooked nose. Hiro scratched away at the wound on his face, and then laid in a huge stomp to the upper back of Jamie, and then another one to the lower area to make sure he wouldn't fight back as he was lifted up and tossed into the ring.

Hiro slid into the ring after Jamie as quickly as he could, which wasn't too fast given the circumstances. He got up to his feet, and leaned into the ropes to keep his balance -- and before long it was time for something nobody saw coming. Back when WWF:G was in the dark ages, when Hiro was trying so hard to get out of the shadow of his Wrestlemania main event debacle against Dion and Talon...he was living a castle of glass. Hiro would aim to grab hold of Jamie and hoist him up off of his feet, quickly trying to drive him neck first into the ground with a move dusted up right from the recesses of his mind -- his Broken Glass Fisherman Driver!

Hiro wasn't shocked, upset, disappointed, concerned, none of the above. He thought it would be a miracle if that move kept Jamie down with the way things were going, so he was prepared to truck on and do even more damage. This match had been going on for nearly twenty minutes now, and every time you thought it was about to end...these men surprised you. What fueled Hiro was a need to prove to himself that he had the means of defense against any and all threats, but what fueled Jamie remained a mystery to him. If nothing else, Hiro was meeting his match in the willpower department tonight. The Ethnic Enigma rose to his feet, Rosario asking both men if this really needed to go on. Hiro brushed his concerns off and again stomped down on the small of Jamie's back before reaching down...grabbing a hold around the Snake's waist. Hiro started to lift, it taking every fiber of his being to bring Jamie off the mat slowly in a deadlift. He was holding him in a gut-wrench, and would quickly bring him up in a swift motion to look for his finisher: the Gutwrench Powerbomb!

Hiro was put in an awkward predicament here, Jamie working hard to not be caught in his clutches any longer and end up planted on the mat again. Hiro was fighting to stay on his feet, let alone go back to swinging Jamie up...but with some yanking Hiro was able to tear Jamie's hands from their grip, lifting him up fully and looking to plant him with that little piece of finality -- the move that Hiro had been wanting to hit from the early goings. This could be it, but the question was...did Jamie have anything left to try and do?

Hiro was in shambles as he realized his move was ultimately being countered once more, but the idea of smashing into the ground right now was so unappealing that he maintained his grip and his legs sturdy up even more. Hiro could have done something crazy -- perhaps drop to his knees to piledrive Jamie Bader awkwardly, or flop forward to land entirely on his body. However, that wouldn't be the case...as Hiro would again power up the Snake, bringing him up and in position for a powerbomb. It was all or nothing now -- hit this move or face the music, for one of these two men, it was potentially about to be all over. Hiro wasn't planning to be the unlucky one here.

Hiro couldn't believe it: just as he had shown an incredible amount of strength constantly lifting Jamie, the Outlaw had done the same, thrust his body with backward motion to deliver the sickest Frankentsteiner to Hiro Shin-Mozas. As the Ethnic Enigma's back skid across the mat, he quickly rolled into a seated position, leaning to the side on his left elbow as his eyes opened wide and surveyed the world around him. His eyes instantly looked to the also downed Jamie, not sure what he could do to defend himself right now as his legs and arms were out of commission for the moment -- there would be no attempts at getting back up in the moment. Things were just so, so horribly rough right now.
