Namielle - Guardian Cat (Order)

The console had reacted as expected, implying that it would prefer it wasn't touched, and yet at this particular moment in time she didn't really care. It's suggestion that they consult the library was met with a scoff, one that came from the knowledge that that particular region was filled with books that few of them could read. There would be no answers held there, at least not any that they could make use of on their own. As much as she would have liked to be able to read ancient scripture again, it was not on the cards any time soon.

...And more to the point, the Prince had made a valid one.

She peered up at Castor just to catch the tail end of what he had said and provided a warm smile. Where the console had failed there had been an individual who did know the answer, who could offer succor, but it came with the age-old warning that Beta's sister would have to want to be saved. She doubted that would come as comfort to the distressed senshi at the moment but where technology had failed the Royal had shined through and offered guidance just like she thought they all should.

"Thank you," she murmured softly to him and gave a bow of her head.

It wasn't long before Realta joined her, bounding across the threatre to afford a greeting and a question she would have preferred to avoid. How was she feeling? Ha, how was anyone else feeling?

"Oh you know...Pretty sure I got hit by a bus and then reversed over, but I'm standing so I have that going for me, which is nice," she admitted before eyeing the console again.

"And you're more than welcome to help me," she flicked her screwdriver out and rolled her eyes. "I'm just gonna pretend I have the paperwork," she mumbled under her voice as she padded towards it.

"Worst that can happen is it shoots me and I already had that happen today," she grumbled as she peered at the plate and pressed the screwdriver against it. Evidently she was passed the point of following the 'rules' and would have much preferred to get on with it. She wasn't naive enough to assume she could fix the entire thing but at the very least she might be able to determine what the 'clacking' was.

At the very best...maybe she and Realta could get it to spit out something useful like Castor had mentioned.

Otherwise being here was a complete waste of time and all of them would have been better being sent to the hospitals to tend to their actual wounds instead of having a damn social call in space!

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede walked as if drifting through a fog.

She thought to ensure her allies were taken care of, but she’d already failed them and was afraid she’d do so again. Better to leave the energy offerings and the healing for those better suited to it.

She thought to check the console, see if anything she might remember could possibly be beneficial, but her thoughts were so muddled, she knew there would be no hope of sifting through old memories. (More than likely, she had nothing relevant to offer anyway.)

She thought to put her questions to Caedus, at least to let him know she’d like to speak when he felt up to it, but he seemed overwhelmed enough, and though she was angry, her sympathy extended far enough to offer him time.

So she followed Valhalla to the room where the piece of the Code... lived? Hid? Lurked?

Given the nature of it, Ganymede felt out of place there. A number of Knights had already gathered around. (She noticed Saqqara and allowed herself a brief moment of relief. At least one of the people she’d helped that night had made it out alive.) As far as Ganymede was concerned, this room, and the entity housed there, was the domain of these Knights. It was their place to ask questions, no hers.

But she could offer some answers.

To Agrippa, she said, “The computer mentioned an appointment with the Queen, but she’s dead, so I assume us being here has something to do with Cosmos.”

She touched the star brooch on her chest. With a low mumble, Ganymede added, “Shame she couldn’t be here to join us.”

Since the Code offered few specifics to a Page of Neptune (Dunwich), Ganymede told her, “You would need the help of a royal. Myself, or Castor. There are others, but I haven’t seen them in years. Cosmos could help, too, but… she’s been…”

Missing? Avoiding them? Busy? Ganymede honestly couldn’t decide which answer would be better. Her thoughts on Cosmos never made her friends before, so she kept them to herself now.

“But getting help assumes your fiancé would want to be purified. If he doesn’t, then… nothing we do would save him, and if he knows you’re a Knight…”

Ganymede shook her head, horrified. If one Agent knew, more might.

Palatine, Squire of Venus

Palatine didn’t feel the desire to follow Sessrumnir so much as she didn’t want to stand around doing nothing.

She met Varuna’s eye first, not about to leave her there on her own, but not expecting her to follow along either. It would be her choice one way or the other. Palatine only wanted to ensure that she was okay. (Not that she expected anyone was truly okay after that, but… as okay as any of them were going to be.) She put a gentle, comforting hand on Varuna’s arm before leading the way.

The Code was… amusing. At least to the bitter of heart. Palatine tried to restrain a smile but didn’t quite manage to do so.

Even so, the events of that night, and one of the Knight’s questions had her curious.

There were no pieces of the Code on Archideus, but…

“What about their homeworld?” she asked. “Not the artificial one. The real one. Vileno? Valena?” (Palatine saw Ganymede cringe and assumed she was being an embarrassment in some way. Then, Ganymede coughed quietly, and beneath that, “Velenia.”) “Okay, so Velenia. I’m just saying, Prince Charming out there was supposed to awaken as a Senshi, and I don’t know about the rest of you, but from what I saw and the impression I got from that whole mess, his starseed might be defective but it also looked pretty royal. So…” To the Code again, “Did you put pieces of yourself on Velenia, by any chance? Not that I expect the answer to help us at all, just… out of curiosity.”

Eternal Sailor Oberon

When Scylla reached out to touch his hands and he could feel the energy being pushed into him, he offered her a small grin in appreciation. Thankfully, whatever was protecting them there at the Moon -- at this Celestial Theater -- it was keeping the pain subdued.

He wasn’t sure about Scylla’s assumptions about the size of the explosion or the fragment, since they’d been told that the composition was unique and brimming with untapped energy. But then again, he was a treasure hunter and not a rocket scientist. Maybe when he got bored of his current field of study he would switch to that.

Pendour received a slightly brighter smile. “Of course,” he said, holding his hand to her since she’d obviously already seen it. He felt guilty about possibly getting some blood on her too. Thankfully their magical dry cleaners was pretty good about repairing their outfits for the next time they powered up.

“I trust you, Pendour. You don’t even need to ask,” he tried to assure her, because she’d give him no reason not to trust her intentions.

Castor, on the other hand.

“Yeah, so, that guy tried helping Lyndin leave with your starseed,” he said bluntly to Caedus, and then kicked at his brother’s cape that must have fallen off of Caedus in their sudden transport to the Moon. It was a little out of the way, so maybe Caedus didn’t realize it was up for grabs since it looked like he wanted to hide under something.

At this point, Oberon didn’t care if he was enabling him. He looked uncomfortable, and if hiding would help, then Oberon would help him hide.

“I am against you speaking to him in private. Or anywhere. There’s no telling if he will just try to kill you again. Just thought you should know before you make any decisions.”

He looked to Scylla, Encke, and Pendour since he knew they had at least risked their lives to try and save Caedus, but he was unsure of the others around them.

“Castor seems to want your starseed to go into the Cauldron to heal. But remember when I met with you when you were here last? About how my brother was dying because his starseed was busted?” he asked Caedus, and he looked to those around him as well, wanting them to hear that there could be another way. Oberon leaned back a bit, around Pendour so he could see the back of his brother, Valhalla, with Ganymede, talking to the Code.

“He’s alive and well now. His magic is restored. He’s not in pain any more. His starseed healed on its own. Even when Cosmos said the only way she could fix it was rebirth. Even after the Code itself suggested that he go to Metallia for help since Cosmos couldn’t -- ah, but that’s a little longer of a story so maybe forget that part,” he added with a cringe, remembering that the Knights apparently all had issues with their Code pieces at one point.

Super Sailor Myrrha

Feeling as if the crowd that was now around Caedus was just too much to deal with Myrrha sighed before realizing that Scylla's attention was more than taken up with all the stuff that she was dealing with. It was obvious now, after wandering around in that massive theatrical cavern that she A: wasn't dead and B: still in need of some time to reconsider life choices. Being brought to the moon a second time, after nearly dying once more was beginning to be too much for the senshi of scents. How many more times would she be lucky to survive in similar situations that arose? Looking off to the other group that was ringed around a pedestal of in the hallway and then back to the group around Caedus, Myrrha felt more alone in the room then she'd ever felt. It perhaps was just her imagination and all the various cuts and bruises ... and the near death thing that was clouding her judgement.

With nary a sound to anyone Myrrha allowed herself to fade into the background. Partaking in neither group and just waiting and praying that she was doing the right thing by separating herself from everyone. She just wanted to go home, and sleep. To sleep was perchance to dream and yet Myrrha was afraid of doing just that because dreams often easily turned into nightmares.

Illyria - Mauvian

At first Illyria wasn't keen to investigate anything. She was content to stay in Ida's warm embrace. But then it became unbearable the need to briefly snoop around and get a picture of what was going on. Her whiskers twitched as she extricated herself from Ida's embrace before gently tapping Ida on the face with a paw. Her voice, filled with the sound of soft purrs spoke to the senshi, "I need to know what's going on. I'll do a quick circuit - eavesdrop on conversation and come back shortly. Maybe I'll have some answers as to what's going on."

As quickly as she could, given her own size and limitations, Illyria slunk away to listen in on the various discussions. She stopped nearly everywhere to get a good sense of answers to the questions that she'd been plagued with. She saw Namielle & Realta working on a computer console. Her gaze took in various knights/squires/pages that left the room to go talk with something called the CODE and she even stopped to check on how the group near Caedus was faring. It was at this last group that she found out the most information to what she needed to know. Her gaze was pensive as she considered asking questions in order to learn more but instead something peculiar drew her attention away. Something had hit the ground nearby with a musical tinkling that had the young mauvian's ears twitching. The sound of a round object rolling away along the ground snared her attention more and she crouched down before bounding forward. Her feline senses came alive as she spotted what it was that had made such an unusual sound. A shiny bead - pearlescent in appearance lay unattended on the floor. Illyria glanced around trying to determine just who might have dropped such a thing. It was impossible to tell and so once more - Illyria took the earth adage of "finders, keepers" to heart. Very gently did she pick up the bead in her mouth before slowly making her way back to Ida. If anything the shiny bauble could be given as a gift to her new friend.

She took a slower path back to Ida as she made sure not to drop the object that had been found. Her gaze still managed to take in the room's appearance before she returned to Ida's side. Placing the bead on the ground Illyria pressed against Ida's side before resuming a soft purr. She had questions that had been answered and so she was pleased.

"So it turns out that this is some sort of learning center on the moon. There's a piece of the Code nearby that some people are talking with. Some cats are attempting to open a console in the center of the room ... and ... well I found this."

Illyria moved to pick up the bead and gave a mrrt sound before dropping the "gift" into the crook of Ida's hand before continuing, "It's not a sparkly rock but a shiny bead is just as worthwhile to give as a gift. I want you to have it Ida. Please..."

She sounded pleased with herself. Pleased that instead of keeping the bauble for herself that she'd given it away freely to a friend. Her keen gaze watched Ida to see what reaction her "gift" would receive.

Vígríðr, Page of Jupiter

The battered comrade he was attempting to bandage withdrew, mentioning that it wasn't her blood covering her feet. Vígríðr shrugged, that was much better than the alternative. The woman and the other knight who'd first come into the room were soon distracted by several other newcomers, so the page pulled his slightly shredded tunic back over his head and focused upon the Code instead. After all, it was rather chatty and more than willing to insult them. Lonely thing. Another Jupiter knight who now stood nearby gave a brief overview, but if it was willing to talk that's exactly what he'd do.

"Hah! You have fire in your breast. I like that. I expect nothing, as everything is still new to me. If you wish for a companion to speak with then look no further, as I would know many things if you are the only one here."

The tall man folded his arms, settling in for a good dialogue.

"You certainly have the bravado of one who was once great and mighty, but I would speak in earnest. You may provide us our power, but you mention mutual benefit."

He was more than willing to jab a thumb at himself rather than pointing, if the Code considered it rude.

"That would mean you need us as much as we need you, you even say as much to the lady knight here. You say you do not know me, then hear me now. I am Vígríðr, knight in training to the service of Jupiter!" he thundered, thumping a fist to his chest. "I will smite all evil and Chaos that would threaten the meek and defenseless."

He grinned, anticipating the snarky reply that would be forthcoming.

"And I would wager you challenge my declaration. But how can you, when you do not know me and your power is my power? To doubt me is to doubt yourself! Answer me thusly: where does the great evil that frightens you into hiding hold its truest and most powerful scions? Darkness pervades the galaxy, but it must be deeper in some places moreso than others.

"You say the fragment I hold at my wonder is a piece of yourself, might I commune with you through this shard? Or shall I come knocking many times in the near future so as to hear your wisdom? Through both the knowledge of my forebear and your teachings, your gift will quicken within me into a storm that would shear away all who seek to smother the light."

Vígríðr nodded firmly, sure of his course.

"Help me to help you, friend. We share common cause, else you would not have chosen me as a champion."

Saturn Transcendent Knight Erebus

If Ganymede had asked him, Erebus would have reassured her that Venice was safely at home with the kids so he hadn’t been caught up in the battle at all. She didn’t however and when she mentioned giving energy to the other three he nodded in understanding, knowing that Valhalla would do his best to support her. “No thanks needed, I’m glad to support in any way I can.” He gave a small smile to the other Knight then turned his attention to the three in question.

To Cybele he held out his hand with another smile, eyes giving her a quick scan to see how injured she was. “I am certainly offering, I should have enough to help all three of you with no problem. It won’t be a full top off of course but it will help now and your recovery later.”

Before he could say much else he found himself in an unexpected, but welcome, hug from Metis. Erebus hugged her back with the arm he wasn’t holding out to give energy to the others and lightly bumped their foreheads together. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to fall behind but I couldn’t leave without helping stop the corrupt from attacking.” His own wince at her question was obvious but he nodded. “I only got hit a bit, are you alright?”

He could hear the discussion with the code in the background but was more focused on helping and checking in on his cousin for the moment.

Mauvian Hania

Hania had barely began looking for Morgan and Arthuradel when the chibi found him instead. When he was picked up by her the Mauvian had to fight the urge to go limp in relief and instead started to rub his face against her cheek and giving a low purr to try and sooth them both. “I’m glad you are safe as well. How hurt are you?” He asked then tried to look her over from where he was held. “We are on the moon in the palace.”

When Morgan joined them Hania reached out a paw to rest on one of her arms, purring louder for them both. “I’m not sure what did, hopefully we will get answers soon.” He said then looked over to the different groups to the front. “Though for that we might have to get closer to one of them to find out.”

Sailor Eivissa

A queen and a theater? Well that wasn't too helpful. At least, not yet. It was something. She licked her lips and slowly just decided to stick close to him. Why? He was the only face she knew in this crowd. Kepler wasn't here. It was really disappointing because she'd thought the older Super senshi would be in the frontlines fighting for the Earth.

What had happened? How did they get here? Ugh, she wished she could pay attention to all the conversations happening at once. Console those who were crying, mourning the losses. Eivissa had such a bleeding heart when it came to these types of things. Everyone here was on her side, were a part of the same war and going through so much. It was enough to make a lump in her throat form. She wasn't going to cry also, but she really wanted to.

Then The Code started talking, and Eivissa turned her attention toward that way, taking in everything. The Code was pretty sassy. Eivissa liked it. It made a small grin appear on her face despite everything. Still, Eivissa wasn't going to ask a question yet. She hadn't formed one that would be intelligent enough to actually get something than a snippy response.

The shrill alarm caused her to wince and put her hands over her ears for a moment. What on Earth were they doing over there to the Console? She wished she knew more about technology to figure out if that was good or bad; potentially messing with something that high tech.

"What's going to happen to Earth?" She figured out they weren't on Earth. Clearly. "Did ...we fail it?" Lich would be able to hear her, though it seemed like she was speaking to herself.

Beta Leporis
Location: Console Room

Beta was grateful for Castor and Lepus' grace, in fact leaning in to the soft feathered wing that he wrapped around her. It functioned like a wall, cutting her off from what was happening and helped her focus on what he and Lepus were telling her. She could be saved. It was possible.

"B-before when I was... almost... Um..." Her eyes darted around at the two surrounding her, "Alpha got me out before it really happened... I didn't think that... if it was finished... um..." She sniffled again, cuffing at her eyes. She was speaking more clearly, her shaking was slowing, and she dared to let herself hope.

Until she learned that Alpha had to want to come back. She sunk back again, drawing her legs back up.

"She didn't recognize me," she whispered. "She... she hurt me. She'd never do that... how can we... make her want to come back?" Officers were one thing. They could still think and feel and experience things as humans. Alpha had seemed... so animal before she fled. Driven by instinct and fear alone. How would they ever convince Alpha that she not only used to be human, but that she used to be so important to someone else? So important to Beta?

"Is it possible to make her want to come back?"

She glanced pitifully from Castor to Lepus, already knowing that they had no answer for her.

Cadet Valnyr

Neryn was clearly struggling, Valnyr would not be one to continually remind them that the actions taken were understandable and the guilt misplaced. Instead, as the cadet moved off to speak to Caedus, Valnyr hauled herself to her feet and placed a hand on Aogashima's shoulder. She knew little of Aogashima's connection to Cadeus, perhaps like Valnyr she didn't much of one at all to the Royal, but at the very least the cadet was of the opinion that she should at least meet him... if only to see who some of her companions had fought so hard for.

"Come, we shall meet him together, yes?" She smiled warmly and slowly made her way towards Caedus, just in time to hear Neryn's apology and Caedus's pained refusal. In this it seemed that Valnyr and Caedus were conveniently aligned. This was unintentional, a mere coincident, but a small part of her was glad that someone other than her had spoke out to reassure Neryn that on this occasion this was not their fault. They had acted on good faith, everyone had, and whether it was right or wrong would remain the subject of debate.

...Or at least it would be for any Velencian.

"There is no fault anywhere," Valnyr said at last as she peered thoughtfully at Caedus. "I suspect, not even in you," she added.

She paused for a moment.

"But perhaps it would be of use if you could provide us with at least some clarity," she lifted her hand to tap gently at her chest, before pointing at his. She still didn't know what she'd seen, she wasn't sure if it was normal and he was merely special, but whatever the case might be the starseed that lay inside him was of value and as Oberon spoke, it was clear that to some 'special' was probably not the most appropriate of descriptions.

"Why did he not kill you all those years ago if he wanted Velenia to be reborn?" she asked softly. "Why did you both come here?" she continued. He might not be able to answer, she sincerely doubted he could read the Commodore's mind (she wasn't that naive), but perhaps he could at least explain why they had come here in the first place. What exactly had they been trying to find, what had they been trying to achieve, if one was to be sacrificed for the survival of a world... then did it not make more sense to simply end it immediately than to travel so far?

She was young.

She had very few facts.

...But if she was truly mercenary about the scenario that had been presented then surely it would have been more efficient to execute him when they were younger. What was it that was missing from this puzzle?

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Kerberos
Moving over to the Code!

"Quiet" and "contemplative" were not traits Kerberos usually associated with himself. He was loud and conversational and enthusiastic. But everything that had happened back on Earth, all the violence and bloodshed and loss--it left him silenced.

He felt magic moving through him, and his injury lessened, and he looked around, briefly.

"Who cast a healing spell?" He asked, voice soft. He wanted to offer thanks, personally--because he knew that letting it bleed was not, exactly, an ideal solution.

He did move closer to the group around the Code, if only to listen to what this powerful relic of Knighthood had to say. He'd had no interaction with it, as a Senshi--but it was interesting to have a powerful, ancient force here to speak with them.

And it was...gloriously sassy. He had to hide his grin behind a hand, briefly, listening to it snark off at its Knights. But for the moment, he had little to say. He was too busy turning over his concerns for the future.

The poor Page (Dunwich) who mentioend a fiance in the Negaverse made him frown, though. Ganymede was already offering assistance, at least; that was a step in the right direction.

"If you or he need help, before or afterwards," Kerberos said, finally speaking up, "I spent a lot of time corrupted, before I got out of the Negaverse myself. And it took other people to convince me to do it. So...I'm here, as a resource." He gave her a smile. "Eternal Sailor Kerberos. I hope he agrees to come home with you; no one sohuld be trapped in the Negaverse. It does...awful things to people."

Ugh. He hoped Lyndin and the Cadets with him were alright. If they really were in Laurelite's hold...

The thought made him shudder, a little.

Her brother did not respond. Charybdis blinked.

Charybdis checked his pulse. He still had one.

Aeleas

So they weren’t dead...that...was a good thing. Something she hadn’t counted on at all. There were people calling her to come join them, but when they did, she simply shrunk closer to Starlight, hoping to hide herself against him. “...Do you think we are going to be trapped up here forever, Starlight?”

Not that it would be...so terrible. Though, with how these humans were...she could imagine infighting starting rather quickly...and that wouldn’t be good for anyone involved, honestly. But...at the moment, there was no danger that she could see, nothing that worried her in the present.

“...I do not wish for that to be the case.” Aeleas wanted to go to this new home that was waiting for her...where she would have a family. Even now, the one Starlight looked up to had gone to another person in the room and was holding them. Had they been abandoned so quickly? Would this be the case for everything?

The cadet swallowed and her breathing began to get more rapid and shallow and finally she sank to the floor, pulling her knees to her chest and burying her face in them. “...I do not want to be trapped up here forever...I want to be home. I want to be in the home I wanted with you and with your family. I want to be home, Starlight…”

Her voice grew quieter as her breathing continued to speed up, everything crashing down on her like a wave. She was lonely, she was frightened. Those were two feelings that Aeleas utterly abhorred.

“I am very afraid...and I do not like that…” She managed to whisper, squeezing her eyes closed to hold back the flood of tears that she could feel trying to escape. A good effort, but a failure nonetheless.

Squire Pendour

Okay, now Encke and the Uranus knight were making finger-hearts at each other. That maybe confirmed it, although Pendour wouldn't really put it past Encke to know more than one Uranus knight well enough to have little signs like that for them.

In any case, he saw her, and waved, and instead of pretending like she wasn't watching, Pendour flashed a soft smile at him and waved back with her free hand.

Hopefully, that didn't count as getting in the middle of something.

In case it did, she turned back to Oberon afterwards. "Okay," she told him. "Try to, um, wash your hands in this? It should help."

She held her own blistered fingers over his palm and snapped, with only a small wince. A pair of heart rings that she was wearing on her index finger began to pour water all at once, and she angled it so that he could catch some easily.

There were others around who were maybe hurt worse, but she wasn't sure how much the little ring would do for them.

She wished she had some of her other magic left so that she could try to heal Caedus's heart. She exhaled almost sharply when Oberon mentioned that even some of Order had been trying to keep his starseed away from him.

"Do you have a place to rest?" she asked Caedus, worry still overruling curiosity in her mind. "My apartment isn't big, but, um." She looked sideways at Castor. "I don't think any of the people who were trying to kill you know where it is."
