In the midst of a clearing it had found, the monstrous feline growled and snarled angrily as it clawed at the steel that was embedded into the fore of its head. Its flesh was far too thick to allow any edged weapon to penetrate it, the star-shaped blade was an itching nuisance like a thorn stuck in a lion's paw. It had uncurled a razor from its forefinger then began to claw and pick out the pain in its head. It was successful in digging it out, albeit, a little loudly. The star blade was driven into the earth after having been flicked from its fingers, relieving the beast of its annoyance. It had dropped back down onto its forerunners before picking up another delictable scent. It smelled of ocean and surf and was nearby. There were many of these scents as well. Moreso than its findings from earlier. It then took off in striding gallops through the foliage and bush before happening upon the end of the forest and the island's shoreline. It crouched its massive body low in the shrubs as to remain unseen by its new prey. Its hungry eyes looking over and surveying its full-course waiting for the opportune time to strike.

((Is there any indication as to how Aonice was able to spot the kitty? All you're saying is that she spotted it despite that it is camoflauged. Its a predator and is capable of remaining hidden without notice otherwise it wouldn't be a predator.))

The beast let out a roaring growl when it realized it had been noticed by the familiar prey. Its forepaws pounded against the sand as it rushed recklessly towards the tiny kunoichi who made an attempt to utilize her size and cower behind a mound of the dry scratchy dirt. Though she did hid her body well, her long braids and strong scent could not prevent her from being discovered by the massive predator. Sand splashed in every which-way as the beast charged forward, making a leap into the air, and pouncing down onto the sand dune and, hopefully, its prey.

The beast followed the woman's small frame with its head as she scooted beneath it. It followed by dropping its massive body to disallow passage and lunged at her with its huge gaping jaws.

The beast came crushing down on its belly in an attempt to crush the bouncy girl only to feel that its underside did not do so. It quickly sprang onto its paws again and twirled about to find out why it felt nothing. The girl was not present where it had landed but, instead, had seemed to have zipped past underneath it before its crushing attempt. It let out an angered roar and stomped its front paws side to side like pistons, kicking up the sand around the kunoichi to show its ferocity.

The beast looked into the small girl's eyes when she turned to face it from afar. Its yellow eyes piercing through her, seeing and smelling the luxurious stench of fear exuberating from every pore of her being. Its lips curled to bare its razor teeth before letting out a deep snarl. It let out a deep grunt and charged the tiny kunoichi again.

The galloped fiercely towards the little woman. It stopped dead-short before her, feigning an attack, and leaped over her to intercept her escape. Its massive body barred her from leaving the shore as it then lashed out a clawed paw to swipe her into its mouth.
