Tempest was still furiously searching, something had to be here. She just knew it but whatever it was, it was playing the elusive game with her. She was starting to get frustrated. Especially as she thought she about had it but then, nothing. Nothing. Freaking nothing. She'd not been part of the group long but she hadn't contributed before the journey and since joining the group out in the barrens, nothing as well. Tempest was hoping this adventure would help her group as a noul so she would be ready to take on a gift.
Whatever, she'd keep trying. No one ever succeeded by giving up.

Tempest was about to cry out of frustration as she nosed around the long length of spine. She kept doubling back over a particular spot but just couldn't pin point it. After a third time going over it, there! She got it and hurried to uncover the clue from it's hidden spot.

Tsarine was fussing with his pack about it digging into his fur. He hadn't realized that the party had made its way toward the actual bones he thought he had saw by accident. Shifting himself without Ayala's approval then raced after them. Hearing Vitalia's commands he started searching the bones, preferably the tail. He sniffed through the sand, lowering his nose to the ground and scuffling along the numerous bones nearest to the creature's torso. What was this thing? And more frighteningly, were there more? It could be treacherous if there were more of these things skulking through the desert. And even though he hadn't been among the group who'd gathered in Homewood to search for clues, he thought he'd heard talk that there may be some variant of dangerous creature lingering about...

Continuing to dig deeper in the dirt he thought he had found something but it was merely clumps of dirt which he thought was a possible clue. Shaking his head he stretched his neck out examining the bones. Nothing. There was nothing to indicate anything was obvious. Tilting his head he examined it as best he could. The very fears that ran through the buck's mind rarely seemed to cross hers. Perhaps it was a defense mechanism, or just a stroke of luck. If she did have the sense to dwell on it all, it might very well turn her off of the idea of adventure all together. "In any case, don't you worry about it. Keirin began to meander down the length of the tail. There didn't seem to be any discernible markings in the surrounding area, no lumps sticking out of the sand nor craggly bits breaking free. Then again, he didn't know exactly what he was looking for. What would a noul traveling through the desert leave behind?

It didn't take her much longer. Ysalone stuck her head under one of the long, weight-bearing bones of the arm and let out a gasp of surprise when she saw something lying there. "Over here!" Tsarine was growing frustrated to the point Ayala hopped off his back to aide in the search. Slinking around the bones tilting her head she too seemed confused. Other clues were being unearthed from the various locations. Hearing Pippen stir in tiny squeaks she stopped searching, "Tsarine keep looking, there's bound to be something". Keirin watched with a wary smile as Ysalone turned to her own investigation. She seemed so chipper and as bright as the sun itself. He could certainly see the journey being an unpleasant one if everyone was demure on top of the frustrations of danger. So it was nice to look back at her and think that perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if they stuck together. There were enough of them to watch each other's backs and ensure that whatever they faced would at least have a hard time taking them all. He just needed to do his best not to be the weakest link in their chain... "I'm not sure I'll ever get used to it," he replied with a small shake of his head. And he wasn't sure he wanted to. What a frightening lifestyle it would be if he grew accustomed to wandering out here in this treacherous wasteland. ((Searching the tail))

Once again Tsarine grumbled feeling this task put upon him was not helig the situation. But, he wasn't going to let this bother him. Surviving all those years in the ruins taught him to endure. Even if the heart was baring down baking them into crisps he would be part of this search party helping not complaining. Immediately, he set off to work again while Ayala tended Pippin's needs. Ayala nestled Pippen back up out of the heat securing him safely to join her noul companion. Digging with her claws along with his hooves they kept pushing harder for any form of a note or item. This certainly was a frustrating game that was for sure. Ayala coaxed Tsarine to catch his breath while she pulled over a container of water, "Drink Big Boy. Don't over exhaust yourself". Ralir wasn't going to argue with Viltalta, though it looked like the party was split. He gave a casual shrug in Aldwyn's direction and returned to making sure that the little rat had been secured. It was best to follow the group, after all - even if that meant traveling with the knowledge that there was something large tailing them.
It was fine, probably. Maybe it was a straggler - the only living thing Ralir had ever seen that was bigger than a noul was a tree, and it seemed large, and alone - or perhaps its companions were just stealthy.
Well, there was a lot more to care about now. Ralir shook his head, looking up at the sheer scale of the bones before them. What could this have been? He had figured the bones would be large, from the initial map - but not this large.
There were many nouls here now, and they split off to search through these monstrous remains quickly. Ralir had other concerns right now, obviously, but he wasn't going to stay behind without contributing himself, since he'd come all this way to help out.
He wasn't sure what to look for - signs of Wanderlust and their party? It'd been so long, and the decision paralysis kept him from having enough direction to know what to go for.

Tsarine dug deep this time letting nothing get in his way. Ayala also focused her attention on the digging to prove she was right there with him. Then with a strange tilt of her head she gasped, "I found something but I need your help. Just a little bit more with you hooves till its free". Tsarine nodded and dug deeper carefully not to injure Ayala in the process. "You got it!" she shouted back to him yanking something out with her mouth. Panting she chuckled, "What would you ever do without me Big Boy".
