I may have misunderstood this too Anne. You added “every six evens/flowers you must rest until tomorrow.” I thought you meant to say we can complete 1 maze daily, right?
I added it to try and explain better. You keep playing each day until you either have six evens in a row or get the gross candy. Then can play on a different day. You're still in the maze at you're last flower or dead end.
What’s gross candy? Earlier, I had 3 flowers in a row (evens) and then I got a sweet candy. Is that equivalent to 4 flowers?

No but it does mean you can keep going. So far you're at a dead end. You played twice today.

No, and I'm really sorry it's confusing. I tried to make the instructions cute. Your first 1 in the rng you have to wait, or six even die in a row.

Enter the Maze (Roll one 4 sided die) If you find flowers you're on the right track, but candy could be a dead end. (Even numbers you keep on, odd numbers find a dead end and candy.) If you find candy, taste it. Bitter you're stuck, but yummy and you're still in. (If you get an odd roll, you generate a 1 out of 2. A 1 is bitter and a 2 is yummy.)
If you find flowers(even dice) you keep going up to six flowers(six posts.) Every six flowers in a row you must rest.(Six a day)
Hi sweetie, you hit a deadend after four so you're trapped in the maze. I'm sorry these don't count.
