Cody looked at her when she asked that but he gently took her hand and lead her to the bathroom quickly seeing as she probably didnt want to talk. He let her do her thing in the bathroom but he sat outside the bathroom a bit as he was concerned about her, "Hey Kaylee, are you okay in there?" He asked a bit concerned to her, hoping that she wasnt having any issues since he did have those worries that she had some kind of cryofreeze issues, which even those are generally dumb movie tropes, he still worried.

Cody was sitting outside the bathroom as she went in there and he could hear her throwing up, but then sort of heard the AI of the bathroom respond, forgetting that it was set to speak to any new users that use it since he and his father had turned off the audio for when they use the bathroom. He wondered if she was alright when he heard her make an audible sound of her hitting something and saying Ow, "Kaylee, are you okay in there, he asked with a knock, hoping she hadnt gotten sick and fallen over.

Jack did notice however as she sat down, he brought the food out and smiled, "Are you alright Kaylee, you arent feeling dizzy with that bump are you?" He asked generally curious, and professionally just making sure she didnt hurt herself. The officer laughed, "Well we are only human, even in 300 years we like sticking to the norms that we are familiar with. Alien culture has been added but even then, humans fought to keep things from changing too much since it didnt change the impact of the cultural exchange." He explained as he looked at her, "Either way, i hope you enjoy the meal, i cooked it myself, just because we have more complex kitchens doesnt mean i dont enjoy cooking homemade." He informed thinking she might like homemade. He had cooked a nice pork roast with roasted red potatoes and some veggies. The roast had looked a bit odd but that was just normal for that brand, it was still old fashioned alien pork, but they werent going to tell Kaylee that. Cody sat down at the table, still wondering why Kaylee gave him the death glare but he didnt mention it as he got ready to eat.

Jack listened to what she said and he shrugged, "Well vice versa would make sense, since taking a germ or bacteria back to the past wouldnt be good seeing as it would be new to them but here, we have worked on medical advancements that helped build up immune systems which stuff along the lines of the common cold are very rare and not all that threatening. If memory serves me right, even cancers are helped and cured much easier then how it was done in your time." He explained as he hoped that would reassure her. When she spoke to Cody, he nodded, "Venus is terraformed, it has an atmosphere which helped cause rain and proper weather, creating its own atmosphere. The terraforming station helped protect the planet being closer to the sun but now the planet is a prime vacation spot for beachs, jungles, and forests, not to mention gardens and plains to explore. The reason for the injections was to help your body be ready for the atmosphere. Unlike earth, Venus has a different mix of hydrogen, oxygen and other elements that if we just up and went, you probably would have felt drunk, sick and misserable the entire trip till your body naturally got use to the atmosphere which would have taken about 2-3 weeks in the best case, 2 months if your body was slow to adjust. The injection helps ease your body so by the first day, it would feel like motion sickness and a bit of a buzz but will clear up before then.

Cody looked at her when she spoke about what they did after dinner and he lightly smiled, "Well after dinner, we go into the living room and hook our brains into the internet directly, using the connection as virtual reality interface as we meld with technology." He said as his father just gave him a blank look before elbowing him, "Ow..." Cody laughed as he smiled, "We can talk of course, and honestly it would be best since you probably still have several questions for us and i guess it be nice to ask you a few questions. My dad here would probably love to hear about your era." He stated as Jack nodded, "Checking history books is one thing but its rather an interesting thought to hear from a proper historian technically." He stated sincerely to Kaylee. He walked with her and Cody into the living room which the couch chairs were comfy as they all sat down, "I wouldnt want to bother you too much about it though, seeing as its hard to ask one about their home when they cant go back." He said knowing it can be hard to talk about it.

Cody thought it over when she spoke, but he nodded, "Well how about this, how was school like during your time? Was it interesting or just as boring as it is now?" He asked curiously as his father gently nudged him again but Cody shrugged, "What? Its only fair to ask." He stated softly as he then thought it over as he looked back at her.

Cody nodded when she said what she had, which brought back some memories, "Anti-grav ball was fun when i was young, gym was the best subject in my opinion. Science class was also fun with cemistry which if you do ever want to go to school, you can stay at home since they have VR courses you can take. Schools are a bit more considerate of people, where if a student is ill or injuried or unable to physically attend school. Or their family just signs them up for it, they can take classes via VR which is simplier then it sounds." He stated before thinking it over, "What is it that you want to be, what career are you looking to have had?" He asked wondering what she wanted to be in here world.
