[[Hmm... profile for non-patients... I might make a NPC or Minor Character section for that kind of thing. What does everyone think about that?]]
Cedric watched as Trey was dragged out of the room, whincing at Trey's cries of pain. The doctors could have had the decency to knock him out before taking him, but then again, Room #21 was no place for mercy. No pity and no mercy seemed to be some hidden and secret law in the place.
So much trouble. And it was only 11:00 AM. Grunting in anger, Cedric picked up his pillow and flung it towards the wall. The room was annoying him. It pissed him off. He wanted out. He wanted out NOW. However, he knew that it was impossible, for he had to wait for Bess to recover, which would take God knew how long, and for Trey to return from the doctor's office.
What the inmates needed was a leader. Someone to lead them. Someone who was capable. Cedric had his vote on Trey, but in the current situation, Trey was not available. Cedric sighed and walked back to where Bess lay. The most he could do in the current situation was to take care of those close to him.
[[I'm still confused, Peanut. If I recall, this was taking place... in the morning. Breakfast, remember? Of course, we can just say you were in the doctor's office from morning to night. Though you might have to wait quite a while for your next post, so that we can take this from morning to night. x.X]]

((What is it now, morning or night? I'll take a bet on morning.))
Finally, some rest. This was indeed one of the few days things were stirred up a bit in The Room. She went over to the Door, and opened it. Not to go in there, but just... She didn't know why. Mira grabbed the flashlight they found earlier, and lit separate sections of The Tunnel while she sat infront of the door opening. She noticed something that was behind the door. She stood up to investigate, while murmuring "That wasn't there before..." When got it back into the room, Mira gasped to see there: The one thing she loved and treasured the most, the one thing she wished for. The one thing she hadn't seen in a year.
Tears came into her eyes as she stared at the cover of a dirty, but in her eyes beautiful book.
((Sorry for that. I thought the tunnel was something that gave everyone something they wished for, driving them insane-or insaner than they were- at the end. Is that okay? If it isn't, I can delete the post you know.
And another thing I wanted to ask. Do we wear uniforms? Like the stuff they get you in when you go to the hospital? Or are we allowed to wear our own things?))

[[It's still morning, but Peanut's character can't return until night. Frankly, when dealing with the tunnel, be free to use your own imagination, as long as it's not overdone, like having a gigantic monster like Britney Spears suddenly enter the room. Things such as the book, hallucinations, voices and so on are okay. The patients are given robes, but they also have their own clothes, if they're lucky to have their family send them clothes. Most of them wear robes, however, since most of them are forgotten. At the start, they're given two sets of robes. For the first 3 days, they wear one of the robes. On the fourth day, they put on the other set of robes and give the first one for washing. They get the first one back on the start of a new week, and so on. If robes get ripped, they have to wear the unripped ones for one week before getting a new one. It's a sort of punishment. And no need to delete the post.]]

Hids walked from the further most wall from the tunnel to his bed, he always slept near that wall. For some reason he felt as though he could he the outside world when he was closer to it. Even so, he could never talk back....whenever he would try the sounds would stop and all there would be is the wall again. But, the sounds have stopped...possibly because it was early morning. He climped up to the top bunk and snuggled himself in. Not to sleep, but to keep thinking of how he would escape.

Bess sighed. "I already said I'm fine..."
She immediatly felt guilty for being so bitter. Her friends were here, worried about her! "I- I'm sorry; I guess I'm just tired."
Bess pulled the covers over her head and attempted to look like she was preparing for sleep. Actually, she was having a battle in her mind. What to do, what to do... She could go out with the others into the tunnel. But what danger might lie there? She could stay here. But she didn't want to rot away: especially if her friends decided to go, and she stayed here! It seemed hopeless. She'd just have to find another way out. Not right now, of course; she still had doubts. But what to do? That was the question Bess just couldn't answer.

"Mi... Mira?"
Cedric looked around, wondering where Mira had suddenly gone off too. Mira seemed to be focused on one object, but it was hidden from Cedric's view, so he could not tell what it was. However, his attention went back to Bess, who apologized before going under the covers.
"Sleep well, Bess."
Falling for her act, Cedric patted Bess's hand lightly before walking over to Mira.
"Mira? What are you doing?"

Mira turned her head from the side of the bed she was sitting against, to face Cedric. She held up the book he could see it, and said: "I'm... going to read", with a weirdly shifted smile on her face. Her inside was warm as she wiped the dust off the cover, and saw the title. Jinsane By Michael Stibbory
She vaguely remembered seeing the book in a library somewhere, but she never got to reading it.

When did Mira find a book? Bess wondered, still under the sheets. Perhaps that tunnel isn't as bad as I thought...
"Be a good girl and study, Bess," her parents said. They closed the door, and left her all alone in the large study. She roamed about, looking for something she might benefit from. Her eyes rested on a large, forest green book.
Bess plucked it from the shelf and sat down in a comfy chair. She opened the book only to find that it was written in Greek. She sighed, got up from her chair, and put the book back.
This continued several times, with the same result: All of the books were in different languages. Didn't her parents know that her tutor that had been teaching her to read, write, and speak in several other languages had quit three months ago? They never listened!
Bess's parents came into the study a few hours later to find many of the chairs torn apart, and books all over the floor. Bess was on the floor, asleep.
Bess shook her head, trying to get that out of her head. Oh, had she gotten in trouble! But it wasn't her fault. She didn't even remember doing any of it. She had looked at several of the books to see if any were in English, then gave up and fell asleep in a chair. When she woke up, she was on the floor with her parents yelling at her! She remembered faintly being in a rage, tearing things apart. But it had seemed like a dream...
