Fang rolled his eyes when Fia patted his head and made a remark about him triggering naughty thoughts in Frea. He was quite certain that he wasn't a prime specimen for such a thing. He had heard many men speaking in markets about women were creatures of word, rather than action, and Fang was not very skilled with his words in the way that a woman would likely appreciate. "Fia..." He would sigh with a friendly smirk on his face.
"A nice person huh?" he thought on that one for a fleeting moment. He realized that He had struck a chord with Fia at his comments on their appearances. One moment she seemed sort of flustered, and then angry. His eyes went wide like an innocent puppy as he wasn't sure what he did wrong. This is exactly why he knew women wouldn't like him. He always said something wrong! The night quickly faded away though. They all went to sleep thinking about the oddities of the conversation before.
"Ehh?" Fang mumbled as he was suddenly being shaken awake by what could only be Fia's hands. Nothing was as soft and as tough at the same time. It was all too familiar. Frea was awake and explained what she was off to do. A venture of her own. A legendary herb of sorts. Fang didn't want her to go. "Are you sure...?" He asked, but knew it was something she was passionate about. "Okay, just - try to be safe... We'll meet you just north of Vale. There is a famous oak tree called the 'Black Leaf,' we'll meet there, if we miss eachother I will set a letter buried on the north side telling you of our new whereabouts. The letter will be to the right of a rock." he had done this kind of thing before and so he always knew a backup plan was necessary. They bade her farewell and before he knew it she was off. That was sudden..." He would say with a somber tone. His golden eyes turning towards Fia's pale face.
They did need to head out to Vale. Frea would be back soon enough. "Let us head out then!" He said with a robust nod. They would pack their things and make their way into the streets of downtown Vale within a few hours at the latest. He hated cities, but they were useful for finding information and restocking on supplies.
Just you and me like the good ol days huh." He would place a hand on her shoulder and look directly into her eyes with a beaming smile of confidence. Confidence in their teamwork. Fia and him always did well. Whenever one of them was stuck in a rut the other always found a way out for them both.
Blair stopped in her tracks as Hades asked her to stay. What was wrong with her? Frankly, what was never wrong with her? She was just who she was. Things always had a way of getting… complicated. She opened her mouth to speak but soon closed it as Hades continued. Her gazed shifted to slight concern, the only sign being her eyes behind the mask. He could read her well enough by now to know she felt some concern. It was not often either one of them pulled a “we need to talk”, and usually, it didn’t always go well.
”The forest. Usual spot.” She answered bluntly before continuing on her way. She did not do this out of cruelty or to be rude, just to get to the point and to keep herself from lingering on what it was he wanted. Did he want to discuss his plans for… their new additions? If so why not discuss that at her place? Or even where they were now? So much for not lingering on the matter.
Before heading to the forest she made a pit stop and changed attires. She now looked like an average citizen with a bit of a punkish attitude. As she was not going around as her villain alter ego, she carried a simple yet sturdy metal staff for a weapon. These parts lurked with grimm after all. A few she gladly smacked on the way, some frustration needed to be spent.
Leaning against a tree she put a hand to her head as she played the meeting in Tin Rabbit in her head. Had those idiots gotten under her skin? Especially the male fox?
”Ugh!” She grunted in frustration as she swiftly moved, turning as she slapped the staff against the tree she had been leaning against, the full power of her semblance seeping through the weapon, shattering the tree’s truck causing it to fall with a large thud. What was she going to say to Hades when he arrived? They weren’t the types to apologize.
Finally arriving to the forest, Hades went over many things he wanted to say. How was he going to say it though? He knew...she was freaked. Looking at the poor trea, it just about confirmed what he imagined. It didn't stop him from wanting to do what he wanted to do. It needed to be said. They were going to have this conversation whether he liked it or not. “Don't abuse the poor tree more than it needs to suffer just living here” Hades commented while leaning against a tree with his arms folded. He still had a playful nature but the tone and demeanor was not matching his motions. “Glad to meet me here. If need fight to let out emotions that fine but.. Honestly,” He would begin. Their relationship was toxic but how was he going to express that. Maybe keep it busy. “I know I stated with us being...official things would not change and that's still true. However, with those new recruits we do not know them. In due time jokes and demeaning remarks could be appropriate as we grow. However, all you truly done today was possibly cause discord. At least, that what it seemed from the 3. I get I can be a handful, but I am your significant other. s**t happens. It fun to make fun of each other. However, dealing with it all the time at that point just makes one wonder what's the point? You can be a b***h at times but I don't go around to a random person and say that.” He explained before thinking and sighing. Was he over reacting? Why was he so negative about something that's been done so many times over? This was just her personality right? Maybe he got too used to the sweetness forgot about the occassional bark and bite?

Hades’ voice announcing his presence sent an odd chill down her spine, like a child that was caught red-handed doing something they were not supposed to. Slowly she turned to face him as she took in quiet calm breathes. They had a way of escalating “their conversations” and she honestly was a bit tired of things getting complicated. The look on his face confirmed her fears, she had disappointed him. Was this such a big surprise? Her whole life, her existence, was a constant disappointment to those around her, why should Hades be any different? As he spoke further her gaze drifted from his, arms crossing in front of her chest still holding onto her staff as she leaned against what was left of the poor tree. Perhaps from afar, it would seem like a stubborn act, but it was a desire to hide, to run away, to protect herself from what was to come.
In absolute silence she let him speak uninterrupted, a rare thing for the two of them. However, if her idea was to have things occur differently then she too needed to do her part. He wanted to talk, he had stuff on his mind, these situations did not come often and she wanted to make sure she knew exactly what he was talking about. Coming to assumptions too soon just made things worse. His words ended, yet she remained silent for a moment. Her mind processing all that was said, all that had happened in the Tin Rabbit as well. Her eyelids closed hiding her eyes further from him as she let out a sigh. She wanted to deny every ounce of his words, to yell at him for being unfair, along with other things but, she knew what he said was true, to some extent.
”I… understand…” Was this even Blair speaking? Understanding? Admitting he was right just like that?
What exactly had to done to piss him off? To set of Kuro? Her breathing raised to a higher tone, a sign of anger, and frustration. Had the damn fox gotten under her skin? Why was Hades taking their side over her own? He did say he wanted to talk so she had every right to express her own end of it all?
Opening her eyelids she would speak again, but her gaze continued to look away to the side to avoid Hades golden hues.
”Let me speak… Uninterrupted. Let me just say this all no matter how stupid it may be.” She had let him talk without her coming to assumptions till the end, it was only fair she got the same consideration.
”Maybe these will be lame excuses…. maybe I am just a petty b***h in the end…. It’s whatever. I don’t give a damn.” A lie. ”You know I don’t play well with others. Yes, usually I do the talking with clients but that’s different from well… you know. These are people I have to work beside. Who can and will be a risk to MY life. We don’t know them now, you are right. They may not care for certain things. All the more reason to figure that out now than later. I am not here to hold their hands. This isn’t Beacon. Honestly, I thought I was being quite civil. I threw a few jokes, a little banter. Maybe I shouldn’t have, at least not towards you. I… I didn’t expect you to come out about us like that…. As for what I said and did to the others, that I did with every intention. I will repeat what I said to Kuro, I did what I did with a reason, and since he was quick to suddenly paint me in such a bitchy light, I rolled with it. How interesting he is quick to sweet talk me, but the moment I show no interest, I am suddenly a b***h.” Blair scoffed, her voice growing agitated near the end as her grasp tightened on her staff. Besides flipping them all off, the only thing she had said to Kuro was not wanting to have him singing outside her window.
”One or maybe two good things came out from that: first, they or at least Kuro will respect you, and seeing as this is your group, your acolytes, that is for the best; the other advantage, at least for me, is not having flirtation in the middle of business. You may not give a damn about it, but I do. Don’t need it.” She paused for a second shifting her weight from one leg to the other, her gaze still keeping away from his. Taking in a breath she let out a loud exhale to release some of her agitated energy.
”My perspective could be wrong, but, only Kuro seemed to give a damn about how I acted. Netami, took the challenge. She seems to have a cool head on her shoulders. Her use of technology makes my skills come off subpar. Grimsly… may be a bit hot-headed but, hmm, I’m still gathering information on him. As for Kuro… the meeting left me concerned. His sudden need to protect Netami from something… minor, worries me about what could happen in a mission. The need to protect her over any little threat could put tasks at risk. I hope I am wrong. But I won’t risk my life to protect any of them…. for now.” Blair wasn’t heartless. She could care for people. It just took time to get her loyalty.
She paused again, taking in another inhale, her head and gaze finally shifting towards Hades. ”I have a feeling this is more about what I said about you, then it is about the acolytes?” Her glanced shifted towards. ”I didn’t mean to hurt you… old habit I guess.” It was true that in the past she constantly threw him banter, and the reason behind it was to mess with him, many times out of pettiness to get back at him. ”It wasn’t my intention. But I understand why it could come off differently. The reasons behind it in the past… were different.”
Pushing herself from her position against the broken tree she twisted her staff swinging it at Hades, stopping inches from his face. ”Do you want things to be different?” Was she asking for a fight? In a manner of speaking. The mood behind her swing was not one wanting to cause harm, but one for a spare. He did not have to accept, though she hoped he would. She had discovered in the past that for some reason talking while in “combat” helped her thoughts focus.
Interesting. It didn't take the semblance of Hades to understand the situation at hand. To take into consideration the thoughts and feelings that were occurring within her. The slightest movements told it all. While he wasn't one who was an empath, he did know Blair for too long. Those movements were different than her average actions. This became completely true when she was quiet after he spoke. Her demeanor weakened as he was speaking his mind, her body showing the signs that she didn't truly want to be a part of this conversation. That instead she rather e somewhere else than have to face reality. Was it possible because f what he could say? He never said anything bad before. Well...the graveyard... He thought she was going to deny him of his assumption. Say he was being unfair or not understanding of the situation and her reasonings. He expected resistance. Hearing her say she understand, he made his eyes grow wide a little before settling on a quizzical look towards her. Was she sick? Or getting the full picture?
The sizzle was coming. Her feelings were starting to boil over. She was angry? Upset? Disappointed in herself or at him? She had to talk soon right? He wasn't talking to air. She was still avoiding his eyes but she at least had a response back for him. She wanted her time without the worry of being interrupted. He wondered what she would say and how much she had on her mind that she wanted to not be interrupted. He wasn't going to anyhow but maybe she felt he might get upset and object to a comment?
She didn't start out very strong. Maybe she was just a petty b***h? WELL, the water festival proved that but again he wasn't going to interject. Her statements at first were not making any sense. Did he need to explain more? No, he did start with the new recruits. It would make sense that was what the perceived problem was. However, that wasn't the true issue. He gave her a very heated look when she came out about the didn't expect to be outed party. Maybe because they were in disguise and it makes things more obvious who they were but Hades wasn't seeing that. Hades was seeing it another way. A way in which it was like she didn't seem as...appreciative of the relationship with the appearance of him with her. That wasn't the case though for sure, but did she want the relationship hidden? Not specifically expressed? Was it just supposed to be...He couldn't even put a word to it. His fingers would dig into his arms, pinching against his muscles as she continued. Cereby wasn't there. There were no distractions.
“That's fair. They will be held to the standard of covering their own a**. I don't mind this. I doubt much will be having to save them anyhow. They are their own unit for now. Missions with us won't come until they have been proven and battle-tested. Our missions, failure isn't an option. For theirs at the moment, it is. Besides they will help keep the bandits at bay. SxS out of our hair, we can move on no? “ s**t, he interjected. He would go back to quiet to let her finish speaking and watching as she would inhale. Finally, she looked towards him and the meat of the real issue started to cook. His eyes would answer her, affirming her suspicion that this was more than about the acolytes. It was about them.
A swing would be placed towards him stopping at his face when she asked. Did he want things to be different? “If things don't change then will we ever truly move forward as a real couple? We have made strides in some areas but things aren't just all physical. It seems we blatantly try ignore the emotional side of things” He commented before getting into a defensive stance. He was agreeing to the spar. Words were meaningful but this, they needed to get everything out. His shoes would start to roar to life, transforming into his skates. Putting up his forearm towards his head to guard in case she tries to strike again with staff, he would let off a shot towards her chest from his skates. (Think death road from air gear). The battle had begun

Blair lost interest in talking further about the acolytes the moment he agreed that they would not be joining in on them anytime soon and were pretty much on their own. At least he agreed with her there. Even if he did enjoy having followers he wasn’t blinded by the need to keep them safe. It was their decision to live this life, they needed to learn that meant people weren’t going to go and save them. She was right in knowing it was more about them than it was the acolytes. Perhaps had she not made the babysitting comment about Hades, he would not be making a big deal with how she had acted?
Her gaze kept their focus on him as he spoke about their relationship. When they wanted too it seemed they could indeed say what mattered. It was a learning process for the both of them. Were they trying too hard to keep how things used to be and hoping that the new things would fall in place with no issue? Or was only one of them stuck on the “old ways”. Her face twisted a bit in thought, giving him the opportunity to make his strike. Despite hearing them activate it took a moment for her to get her head back into focus, but by then it was already too late, a strike was made to her chest sending her back, but with a twist with her body she landed back on her feet as she swirled her staff. Her eyes keeping on her target.
”But emotions are such a boooore,” Blair commented with a clearly teasing voice, a bit of her childish playfulness coming to the surface. Kicking off the ground she charged towards him but then kicked again leaping into the air, her staff coming at his head with a strong swing, but it would not be alone, it would be followed with a small burst so even if he did dodge or blocked he could potentially get knocked back a bit from it, though it wasn’t a threat for damage.
As she lept and swung her staff she spoke again. ”What if the changes just make us miserable? How do we know what we ask in terms of change is fair? Isn’t accepting the other how they are important as well?” Her plan after her strike was she land a few meters from him, but only his responses would determine if that changed.
Hades connected with the strike. Something that probably should have been easy to dodge but maybe Blair didn't think he was going to go serious on her. It was always good to sharpen their skills when able to. He learned some new tricks, being able to use his aura to cause feint strikes. It was honestly a fun time. Looking over at her though, he wondered if she be okay but she landed on her feet. Good. Hearing her tease, he smirked as he prepared for her counter attack. The attack , he would parry the strike with his forearm, taking the blunt of the blow. The burst causing him to be blown back a little by a few inches but his strength keeping him from stumbling. The sting of his fore arm was another thing though. He didn't use aura to dampen the blow. He probably should have considering the bruise that could be produced.
“Well that's why we talk about it. I not sure what you want. Just a semi bed buddy who you can talk to at times. A loving overly gushy relationship. It's hard to tell to be honest. I just saying, we don't have to always put each other down just because that's what we use to. Just a comment. But guess better question ask what do you want out of our...partnership” He stated in a teasing tone. Following up, he would go for a punch to the gut while she was landing. He was curious how she would respond. Why did conversations need violence just to be normal? He was unsure.

He was asking the important questions. Why wouldn’t he? If he was serious about her, about them, they were questions that needed to be asked. Sure they had danced around the subject, comforted each other from time to time, but never anything like this. Something in the depths of her soul felt warmed at the thought behind it all. Was it enough for her to feel comfortable in being fully honest? Blair feared what may happen if she fully expressed her thoughts and feelings. It was why she had asked her previous question. She knew stuff she wanted from him were likely not going to happen, and if they did, it would take time. It also made her guilty thinking about it, it wasn’t fair to him. However, he stated it was why they needed to properly discuss what they felt.
There wasn’t a lot of room for her to go deep into thought. It was odd how they had a tendency to physically fight one another when processing emotions but, it worked for them. At least she knew it worked for her. She couldn’t delve too deep, make assumptions, etc, while she was also focused on defending herself from his strikes.
Her landing being used against her came as no surprise. She would have done the same. Blair wasn’t concerned. She had an out. Quickly she released a burst from her feet propelling her upward so his fist would end up passing a few inches from underneath her feet, and when it did she released another burst to force his arm down while she twisted her upper body while being propelled again a bit up in the air swinging her right leg over her form, bringing it down onto his shoulder, while her staff followed shortly after. He was lucky she had opted to not wear her heels for this encounter. He did not need potentially sharp objects for her to use in combat.
As she performed her counter she spoke. Keeping it short so any reaction from him would not interrupt her logic.
”I want you. Us. This. Whatever it becomes. All I want is you to be mine. As I am yours.” There was more she could say about this, however, it could wait. It was not the time to delve too deep into how certain actions from him made her feel. She could bring it up a bit later. For now, she wanted to focus on the key component of it all.
Hades really didn't know what she truly wanted. He was down for anything. He just needed to know what was in her mind so he could process one whether he was actually going to do it and two whether it was going to be hard or easy so he would have to lower expectations of Blair a little. Of course, he was planning to use her landing against her. It made sense to do it. Why would he not? It was a spar but still a fight none the less. His punch would not land but instead is it mark because she was using her burst to get past and dodge. He always thought it was gravity, but it was apparently something much more simple in reality. He didn't fully understand it until recently. With the burst, he would look up to see she was going for a strike. Was no use to activate his semblance. It wasn't that big of a deal. The strikes would come and he would use his aura to take the damage. After the kick came and the staff came, he would go and try to grab at her staff. If he could get it, he would throw her away to gain some distance. If not, he would just wait. for her counter and adjust his actions then.
Her words would come out and it stuck with him, making his movements a little sluggish. It struck him because he knew exactly what she was getting at without needed to have her go further with her statements. Even though he was left open for a follow-up attack, he had to know. He had to ask more about this statement. "You are already mine though and I yours.," He would start before thinking deeply. "Does me flirting with other women bother you?"

Were they not in the middle of important discussions their fighting would have been at a completely different level, but with both of them wanting to make their thoughts known, and reacting to what the other was saying, lots of small opportunities were being left for both of them to exploit. Hades took her staff and yeeted her away. This time she didn’t do much to stop him. Using her flexibility she merely adjusted and twisted her form so she would land rather gracefully onto a low thick tree branch. Swiping her staff down she stood upright, her gazing falling down on him (a sight that was not very common due to their relatively drastic height difference). His words were reassuring to hear. It also eased her hearing him say so, or act on it, or anything similar.
Lowering her body she saw his thoughtful gaze and although she knew he was going to say more she pushed herself off the branch, launching herself in his direction. A few bursts were released from her feet to project herself faster and stronger than normal, gravity of her fall also aiding into the force behind the strike of her staff which came falling down towards Hades’ right shoulder. She was avoiding his face, intentionally, could have that ruined now could we?
”Yes.” She answered as her strike was near landing against his shoulder. That thought of lying to him had occurred during her quick trajectory towards him, however, she opted against it. They were there to talk, were they not? He would be angry if she lied. She didn’t want to do anything to jeopardize what they had. Blair knew she had already made it quite hard for him. He was the one who tried in the beginning. Only recently had she begun putting in more effort on a more emotional level.
Just before her staff would strike she used another burst right at the tip of the staff so she would be pushed back while hopefully avoiding any retaliation from him. She wasn’t quite done talking.
”But it’s a part of who you are. I get that. I accept that. Just… hurts…” Blair stated as she landed on her feet (hopefully), but in the chance he did respond and counter attack, she would continue speaking between exchanged blows or in the middle of performing dodges. ”It’s… painful… I guess is the word. Not so much the flirting, but the fact I know you mean what you say. And some mean it back” Could he understand what she was saying? Sure she could and had flirted with random people in the past but her flirting was always a means to an end of sorts, her words were manipulations and not things she believed or meant. He had plenty of options if he so desired. Was still a truth that baffled her. Though she fell for him, so could she blame others for falling for his devilishly godly charm?
”It was harder in the beginning… now… depends on the day I guess. I try not to focus on it. Focus on the fact you come back to me.”
That throw was too easy. He couldn't deny that but he should have expected it given the conversation. The spar was starting to become back up to the main thing that was coming to light was them coming to an understanding. As she came down to attack his shoulder again, a smart idea given he was a close combat type of fighter, he would hear her answer honestly to his question. It seems she was affected by it. She didn't like it. Two back steps would occur so that the attack would not make it to his heel but instead, she would be forced to hit air. She instead was pushed back by one of her own bursts. So she was going to attack and run huh? Logical. Another shell would be released, shooting the shell towards Blair as she was being pushed back by her burst. The snapping kick quickly and easily sending out the projectile towards her. The conversation wasn't over. She would explain exactly what she was thinking and meaning and this hit Hades harder than he expected.
She felt like it was something she had to accept and that she couldn't attempt at least ask him to change or do better by and honestly for Hades, that felt shitty. Extremely, but he probably shouldn't take it too much to heart. She was bad with actually talking so something like that unless pushed probably was never going to be brought up. “What you trying to say is, that it feels disrespectful since its openly flirting and even if doesn't mean to, shows some level of interest. So you constantly feel like you are being compared to others?” Hades questioned. How, did he get so smart? Oh No, Hades had prepared for this day quite some time but he didn't know how deep it was going to go. He thought it was just stop flirting with women but it went deeper than that. She felt he couldn't possibly eradicate such behavior.
At this point, it was obvious Hades had stopped fighting or even trying as he was taking it all in. The last part was extremely sad. Almost pathetic. So unlike a goddess to just hinge on the fact that he was coming back to her instead of being propped up. Or maybe she didn't want to be propped up? Unsure, but did this just make Blair seem like a safe option? Like home? He wasn't liking this at all. This had to be solved. “It may take some time to get it done as a habit. But if it something that's truly bothering you, I am willing to stop such interactions. I don't want you to feel as if you are....replaceable or not good enough”

Hades had moved, all the more reason why she had done her burst but it would seem the fighting was coming to stop, not before she got hit with one of his own “bursts”. Taking the blow to her gut, she had the wind knocked out of her lungs as she rammed against a tree. With a grunt she fell to the ground, a hand keep her from completely faceplanting. Were she not proficient with her aura it would have hurt a whole lot worse. For now, it would leave a mild bruise, mostly due to her not wanting to waste too much aura fully healing. It was nice to feel such things from time to time. Toughened one out more.
As she rose to her feet she listened to his response. Was she hearing him right? A tinge of guilt come over her as she patted dirt and leaves from her body. Why did it feel like she had said something wrong? Would it be different had she said this earlier in the relationship? Blair’s face twisted a little in painful “what if’s” a canine lightly bitting into her lower lip as she processed everything that was going on and being said. Stronger than the guilt was a rush of unusual warmth in hearing what he was willing to do for her. A blush formed on her face as she put some strands of her hair behind her ear.
”That is a way of putting it. Honestly it’s hard for me to describe. Could just be me being the jealous petty insecure b***h I am that influences these thoughts. But yeah its what you said close enough. I have competition. Or so it feels. And… I should have probably done more for us in the beginning. But.. I was scared. Scared of what would happen to me if I put myself out there for you, and it didn’t work out. And I am not blaming or anything here I…” Blair was feeling a bit out of place. ”I just knew I wouldn’t pick up the pieces… I guess. So it was easier, and selfish, of me to refuse to adapt or change without lots of… insistence on your part.”
The rabbit faunus sighed, her tail lightly twitching in her “agitated” emotional state. ”I am not good at this emotional stuff. Or more so its… odd for me. Would you have been so receptive if I had said something about your flirting before? Besides… How would it be fair of me to ask something like that? Ask you to stop when it’s something that is a strong part of how you are? I didn’t want to upset you. I didn’t want you to resent me for,” she raised her staff free hand for air quotations. ”’changing’ you. I grew up… constantly told how I should be. How I should act. What I should do. I… couldn’t do that to you. I know what it is like to feel constricted, to feel like you can’t be yourself.” Blair blew in some air puffing up her cheeks before exhaling outloud, her eyes fixated on his golden hues, hues that were nothing but honest with her.
”I… hm…” She wasn’t sure how to best phrase her ‘conclusion’. ”You clearly are willing to do this for me and I… love it… I do. I just feel guilty you are. Scared too you will be upset with it. But as you said it’s a process. Maybe, along the wrong we will find a compromise? I’ll do my best to not let it bother me, and if it does I’ll talk to you when I am? And… maybe you could dial it down… a little? I could be ok with it still being a thing. As long as I know there is no reason to worry?” Did she express this right? Would he get it? This was a process, wasn’t it? They wouldn’t know what would make them happier till trying? ”I want you to be happy. Even if that means there’s a chance you won’t ever stop flirting. You are the God of Sexiness after all. You need to let people know.” She was trying to joke with the subject in a way that would express things could and would be ok. That she was open to things not going to full extremes of everything they thought they disliked about one another had to stop. ”I... guess that’s what love means… coming to terms, enjoying, the “flaws” as well?” She used quotations again to indicate she didn’t fully mean flaws. He was perfect after all, like the god he was.
They were finally getting to the honest part. Getting to the root cause of their issues. She would respond to him and confirm everything. She felt like even though they were together she was still in the competition as if he was single. Still fighting for a spot that she was already sitting at. It seemed silly and one could honestly feel it was just her being petty but Hades understood it. In fact, after all the comments he received pettily when her sister (the karen) was brought up in the past he should of taken that as a hint. But Hades took it as more not being able have something of your own. He was hurt. That was for sure, but he understood. Nothing was specific and set in stone. They could end up perfectly for each other or they could end up fighting and breaking up. Just because they got together or break up did not mean that it had to be over for their friendship if it went that route. However, that was what she was insinuating. That if she put herself out there and didn't work she be just a broken vase unable to be refurbished by even the most skilled of re-constructors. “I didn't want to because I wanted you to be you. Considering everything from the past I felt was best to let you figure things out. You been forced and told how to act for so long. I didn't want to add to that” He explained at the pause of her words.
She would continue. Of course, she wasn't good at emotions and such. It not like Hades was the best either but he could do a whole lot better than his counterpart. Her tail showed she was agitated to the core, his passive allowing him to see the twitches. When she asked if he would have been receptive of changes if brought up in the past, he almost scoffed at her like it was a dumb question. “You tell me. Last I checked I was trying to chase after you and simping hard.. I would have been receptive to it if we had this talk earlier. Even if you think I wouldn't. Trying would have been better than not. “ He explained. She got to the part that he figured would be brought up. Her past and how she was raised. She didn't want to put restrictions on him which is fine, but if it hurting her he would rather put restrictions on himself. While still being free, he could choose not to go overboard. With her fixated on his golden hues, he would poke her cheeks that just exhaled a gust of wind.
A compromise would be brought up. She would try not to feel some type of way if Hades toned down on the flirting. Since it was essentially who he was, she didn't want to have it get lost in translation or him to be upset about the restriction of flirting. How to be a god of sexiness and not flirt? She had a good point. He couldn't dispute that. “ A compromise it is” he stated gently in response. Her definition of love was hilarious. She was making fun of it. About accepting and enjoying the flaws. However, deep down maybe she meant it? It wouldn't matter though. Her staring at the hues of his golden eyes was already getting to him. Wrapping an arm around her waist, he would pull her close to him and place a kiss onto her lips gently. They had a talk and honestly, it was long and draining but, that didn't mean they couldn't have some fun after such a serious event. If she didn't mind it, Hades had planned to keep her out there in the forest. At least for a make-out session or two.

TYPE ANY OOC HERESHOULD BE FINE but if issue let me know
For two people who made money doing questionable things (and enjoying it), they were oddly sensitive and considerate towards one another. That just shows people are always more complex and neither completely bad nor completely evil. The vast majority were a mix of emotions, ideas and mannerisms. Why would Hades and Blair be any different?
Hades’ remark on not wanting to treat her like others had done so in the past was welcoming. He cares… A single thought in her mind as he said his words, and while simple, it was of extreme importance. If anyone wondered why she was with him, it was precisely because of little things like that. He had a way… a way of making her feeling wanted, needed… and, even she couldn’t hide it anymore, loved. Neither of them were trying to make the other feel like they were being forced but, despite their best intentions behind it, they weren’t turning out happy either. Adjustments needed to change. They needed to mold themselves to one another. After all, things weren’t as before, how were they going to stay the same and expect the other changes not to be hindered by them remaining stuck to their past versions?
Talking was working. It wasn’t going as bad as she had pictured. It was too late for her to go back and bring up these thoughts earlier, the damage was done, there was only forward now. At least they managed to speak about it and were both willing to change, to compromise.
Cheek poked she looked at him in playful stubbornness as if he had committed the greatest of offenses, rubbing the area he had prodded with her hand before she was able to go on about her idea for a compromise. She could see the thoughts behind his expressions, the way he looked at her when she mentioned him being the god of sexiness and needed to flirt was a “damn right girl” sort of face. She had made a point he could not, and would not, argue with. A gentle smile came to her as she felt a weight off her shoulders lift. The concerns, the doubts, they had vanished or at least diminished enough to not bother her, and as his lips pressed lovingly against hers, whatever traces of such negativity remained were destroyed.
As their love was expressed she raised herself onto the tips of her toes bringing herself just a bit higher for Hades, not that it would do much, she was still considerably shorter compared to him. Her hand rose to caress his cheek softly during this momentary exchange. After a few seconds, she drew her lips away from his. ”A compromise it is. I will need time to make my own adjustments as well, as you have asked. I will make my jesting more playful and clear.” She commented and at the end leaned towards his lips again. She was his as he was hers. While they had been together for some months now, something about this moment felt different. Was it their maturity in regards to their own emotions that made such a simple kiss feel like wildfire? At least that’s how it felt to her.
This was a sensitive topic but it was a topic that needed to be discussed. Just because Hades liked fights and was willing do anything didn't mean he was going to treat someone that he loved like trash and just expect not to put any effort into a relationship. That wasn't how things went and he didn't feel he could be happy truly if they both weren't happy. That what made him make that mistake long ago. Saying things that he shouldn't of said. Stagnation couldn't be a thing and Hades knew well that his deadly sin was that of sloth. Doing things the same way. Fighting the same way. Thinking things were good enough when things could improve. His life got so much better once he actually got a scroll. A thing he cherished. Though, that was because it was a gift from Blair with certain things on it. A swooning Hades was something hard to do. Maybe he was just a simp for her.
The childish exchange between the two. Was it just an affect of their love or something more. They both had their childhoods robbed from them so it was understandable they acted childish at times. Not in a manner of demeaning but in a true attempt to take the glory days that was stolen from them. They didn't go through academies. They didn't have the life of a regular kid trying to be a huntsmen. In fact, Hades wasn't really on board with the ideas of children fighting monsters. He felt at 18 they could start but the fact remains that it was out of his hands. He could understand why starting young. Doesn't mean he had to like it.
For now, it seemed the path was clear, and Hades was just concerned with Blair for now. Their touch an electrifying shot to his system that no fight could truly ever hope to touch. She had to battle her way at times thanks to the height difference but they seemed to know how to make it work. Plus she had excuses to buy more heels. After their momentary exchange, he would hear her reconfirm everything they went over in a nice compact statement. A compromise it was. It was going to take time and Hades honestly wasn't sure how long it was going to take for her to get adjusted but as long as she was trying then he wasn't going to give her hell. “And I will make sure no other receives the glorious praise that should be sacred to my one and only “ Hades stated. Sappily and simpy. Yeah, Hades was a simp but at that moment as they kissed again he didn't care at all. Picking up Blair, the metaphorical camera would be pushed away to the side, taking in the scenery as the wild fire that grew within them started to burn. He was hers and she was his. And at this moment, it wasn't just in words that this was true, but in reality and actions as well. Anyone can say it, but actions will always show the truth in the end.
