HealingAssass1n The prince gently patted her shoulder, "If hes anything like the fighter i faced, he wont give up that easy." He reassured, "I bet he will be with you soon." He stated as he would leave to give them some alone time. It was probably an hour or so, whenever the drugs began to wear off but Cody began to come to, "Wha.. what happened?" He asked a bit groggy, he still of course felt off from the medicine. Strider smiled when he came to and then replied " You was hurt defending my honor and we had to bring you here to get better. I hope that things between us wont change after you get out of the hospital". She then reached out to hold his hand to comfort him while he was laying there in the bed.

Cody looked at her when she took his hand but he looked at her confused, "Why would things have changed between us... i mean, i did take a sharp object to the stomach to marry you." He joked softly as he laughed softly before wincing, "Ow... my stomach area still sings a bit, lets hold off on jokes for a bit." He said softly.

HealingAssass1n Cody looked at her when she took his hand but he looked at her confused, "Why would things have changed between us... i mean, i did take a sharp object to the stomach to marry you." He joked softly as he laughed softly before wincing, "Ow... my stomach area still sings a bit, lets hold off on jokes for a bit." He said softly. She was glad that he was going to be okay and waited by his side until they said that she had to go home . She was a combination of emotions and wasnt sure what to feel at this point.

He was sure that she would be worried about him when she had to leave but of course when she left, she would run into her father, "I hear he is going to be alright." He stated to speak with his daughter.

" Yes he is but heis not up to having a whole lot of visitors just yet though " she replied and then went to the waiting room for awhile until he was ready for her to come back in the room .

Her father followdd behind her, "You do understand why I felt it needed to have you marry the prince right... I want you and our kingdom protected. I feared i would lose you like we lost your mother. I felt that the prince would protect you but now I can see that this man can do just the same... i wish to apologise to you." He stated sternly.

HealingAssass1n Her father followdd behind her, "You do understand why I felt it needed to have you marry the prince right... I want you and our kingdom protected. I feared i would lose you like we lost your mother. I felt that the prince would protect you but now I can see that this man can do just the same... i wish to apologise to you." He stated sternly. Strider stopped in her tracks when he brought up her mother . She was just a baby when she lost her mother and had no memories of what she was like ." what was she like father ? Do I look like her ?" she replied trying to talk to him in a civilized manner. " I accept your apology father"

Hearing her questions he nodded, "You look very much like your mother, in both beauty and spirit. She was an amazing woman and helped with her people how I couldnt. I was the strength but she was the pillars that held the kingdom and its people. I denied some government the ability to mine our lands so they took your mother from us, as punishment and I feared the day if you were ever taken." He explained as he sighed, "I want nothing more then you to become happy, to rule over the lands and have grandchildren to continue the legacy." He explained as that seemed like the job of any father he felt.

She never knew her mother and wanted so much to know what she was like ." I am sorry father and I will try to do my best to be more like mother" she replied to him hoping to make him happy with her again.

" then looked into his eyes for the answers that she was searching for

But did mom take on your name when you guys married ? " Strider was a bit confused but knew that was the rule and so she didnt try to argue about it .

(Sorry it took so long to reply, i had been really busy.) Her father looked at her when she spoke but smiled a bit, "Well of course, the name is apart of our legacy and normally with marriage the female does normally take the males name but in the case of a princess to be wed, themale must take the family name to carry on the legacy." He explained to her.

Her father looked at her when she spoke but smiled a bit, "Well of course, the name is apart of our legacy and normally with marriage the female does normally take the males name but in the case of a princess to be wed, themale must take the family name to carry on the legacy." He explained to her. Strider was glad that things with her and her father were better and she hoped that she would have a grand party for her marriage to Cody . " Well I hope to have a grand party when we get married here at the castle" she replied.
