It was getting late!
Jessie hummed, looking away from the duck pond before frowning. She would have one more duck to pull, before she had to go, and pull she did, even as she sorted candy in her mind. Two plushes, and plenty of candy? Rhian and Owen were go0nna be so happy, and.. Maybe her dad, too, if he felt better.
Finishing her pull, Jessie stretched, collecting her priase one last time before turning, and heading for home.

Well, Owen thought, it wouldn't hurt to try one more time. And even if he only got candy for it, at least he'd tried. (At least, that's what he told himself when he yet again managed to grab a dud duck.)

To be honest, Raina wasn't quite sure why she had to keep trying at the duck pond. They were just little rubber ducks anyway. They weren't even rubber geese or something.
(Was that a thing?)
She plucked up a duck, expecting it to fail just as much as the last time, about ready to chuck it, but then she realized...
The bottom was golden.
She won a big stuffed animal.
Raina squealed, excitedly waving her duck around. She had done it!! Which one was she going to get? Well, she couldn't go get a living puppy from the puppy pens. Maybe she would just get a big stuffed puppy. Easy decision made, Raina wrapped her arms around the large stuffed puppy and marched away.

To be fair they had quite a haul so being done with the games was fine with him!
Picking up one last duck it was definitely not a winner.

Raina was no longer nearly as grumpy about the duck pond considering she finally won something out of it, and in fact, she came back one last time, giant puppy plush in hand, to see if she could win two.
She plucked up a duck and glanced at the bottom to see what she would find.
... Wait.
Was that another golden sticker?
Raina had the lucky touch. Those ducks must have been afraid of her and her goosely powers now. That was it. It took a few minutes for Raina to decide between all the adorable choices for her second ridiculously large stuffed plush, but eventually she walked away with both her puppy from earlier and one of the bears.
