He was not certain that this was the case but his gut was telling him so. In a blink, his rapier was unsheathed and pointed toward the "officer" with the rogue tattoo. "Hands up! You're under arrest for impersonating an officer of the law." His voice was booming with authority even as the steel could be heard sliding out of the sheath loudly and abruptly. The rogue's eyes, white and glazed over, did not respond to when Kenshin moved to protect Avalanche. A slight blush overcame the masked individual as Kenshin stood heroic to shield them. The man on the right reached for his sword, but halted when he caught Gonzo raise his hand in the stop gesture. "Captain Kosei, I can explain." Gonzo said, trying to de-escalate the situation. However, the name caused the white eyed man to start radiating corrupted chakra. "Kenshin.... Kosei..." The man said in a gruff, deep voice. Vile markings extended along his skin from a point on the back of his neck. His body became covered in black lines which branched off in varying directions. Gonzo took one look at the man and knew that the situation was about to escalate.
"You took EVERYTHING FROM ME!" He screamed as his full body turned to Kenshin and Avalanche. Chakra poured from his lungs and exploded forward in a cone like path. Kenshin's oracle sensory would detect the intense chakra which radiated from the attack, but Avalanche was powerless to sense it. If the chief of police did not act fast in a manner which would defend the two of them then the strike would lace their bodies with thousand of cuts, and the internal damage would be immesurable. Meanwhile, the man with the sword bolted away, as did the eight foot man. The scheming looking man stood by Gonzo as he awaited further instructions.

The man became even more furious when Kenshin did not recognize him. However, before he could yell again Kenshin's blinding speed moved to close the gap between the two of them. If by himself then the man would have easily been succumbed to the incredible speed of the over three hundred strikes. However, in between the two, the man from the right re-appeared as he pushed the blind man back with one hand. Covered in the same curse seal markings, he unsheathed his blade and swung his sword to counter the attack. Although it was only one strike, all of Kenshin's strikes were countered with the same speed that he used when he made the strikes. The man made direct eye contact with Kenshin as he brought his blade back into his sheath. He then slid back into the shadows.
Meanwhile, the other man was ready to scream again. Just before he could, however, Avalanche stepped in. The masked vigilante leaped over Kenshin as they extended their sword to a spear mode. Just before the man could let out another yell Avalanche intercepted and brought their blade down by the feet of the man. The entire area which the man stoop upon was frozen in a giant block of ice over fifty feet tall and wide. Avalanche then leaped back as the massive column of ice was then destroyed. "My bloodline power has always been stronger. Is this the power of his curse mark?" Avalanche asked as they landed a few feet from Kenshin's right. Meanwhile, their ears caught something to the right of them as four wooden puppets extended their limbs to grab hold of the masked vigilante. Avalanche leaped back to dodge, but had to dodge again when the puppets continued to chase them. "All we want is the masked freak. This doesn't need to get personal Kenshin." Gonzo said. Meanwhile, the blind man readied another shriek as he aimed to destroy Kenshin once and for all.

He said in prayer before closing and reopening to reveal cyan eyes once again. His body was covered in the cyan-colored chakra characteristic of none other than the Tenseigan. With another single-handed sign, a massive twenty-foot orb was fired toward the pack of forbidden seal users but the man who was attacking him was especially targeted. The orb would damage them but also have the purifying effect of locking access to their corrupted nature chakra. Kenshin loathed that he had to use his Tenseigan twice in one day after years of restraint. However, he knew that it was his duty to Evergreen to smite such abominations and preserve the natural order.

The awakened power of the tenseigan devastated the blind man. He stood and endured the attack just to fall on his back a moment later. Although his eyes were pale, it was clear that the light faded from them. Meanwhile, Gonzo winced at the sheer power of Kenshin being displayed. "Distraction time." He said to his right hand man. The short man nodded as his right hand rose and all of the sudden all of the people on the streets stopped moving. Their disguises fell and revealed themselves to be puppets of the user. In a chain sequence countless explosions detonated from the puppets. They went off one at a time so that Kenshin would have the ability to stop the devastation before it became too grand. Of course, that was their objective. To slip away while Kenshin dealt with the explosions. The two ran off as Avalanche raised their blade. "I'll keep track of them!" They shouted as they disappeared into an ice mirror. Avalanche hoped that by keeping their sights on the two villains that Kenshin would have the freedom to deal with the puppets. Plus, with how effortlessly he found Avalanche without any of his abilities, it would be no problem to find them again with them all. Assuming of course, he finished up before Avalanche went off too far...

__ Unfortunately, Kenshin had to stop his assault prematurely to protect the surrounding civilians from the destructive distraction. Kenshin sheathed his blade and formed a hand seal as quickly as he could before a powerful pack of overwhelmingly powerful lightning wolves was conjured. They successfully clashed with the puppets and neutralized the explosions. This left the immediate area intact and all citizens were safe. However, he watched Avalanche and the remaining enemies escape while he was preoccupied. With a frustrated grunt of a sigh, he took off after them. His tenseigan reverted to the byakugan and his sage mode resided.

Kenshin’s mastery of detective prowess would allow him to easily follow the path which Avalanche took off in to track Gonzo and his troops. However, just as he followed the track, the trail suddenly went cold. At the intersection of the agricultural district, the temple of the Gods, and the APD laid the fancy blade which Avalanche carried. The sword wielder was no where to be found, nor was Gonzo’s squad.

As Kenshin stood along the street trying to find anyone, a shadow like presence walked up to him. His byakugan eyes, as well as his sage sensory, would instantly tell it was the vigilante Avalanche. Although they could do well to avoid detection from most, they would have no way to hide their presence from the eyes of the law. Not that they wanted to, as evidenced by them walking right up to him. "Kenshin. I trust you're not here to look for a new handkerchief." Avalanche said in their casual, cocky tone. Avalanche's eyes rolled behind their mask as they ignored the dismissal of Kenshin. There was no way that the hero of justice was walking around the gust district if he wasn't on a mission. And if there was something worthwhile of the lawman to take note of, then clearly Avalanche had to take note of it as well. However, as they followed the line of sight Kenshin had, they found themselves rather perplexed. "Is there a threat of a comic book store getting robbed?" They asked confused. They figured that Kenshin would not waste their time answering their question, so instead tried to pry at exactly what it was he was focusing on. It was then that they deduced that the man's focused seemed fixated on the the cards of the store. "Is there some forgery going on with the cards?" They said. It was then that a light bulb when on behind their mask. "Ah! I was thinking something like that was occurring." Avalanche said as they took out their deck. No, they would not answer if question why they had a deck of dual cards on them casually. It was definitely not because they had a deck entirely devoted to the aesthetic of the: "Master of Justice" card archetype. "A few weeks ago I stumbled on this card which definitely did not fit with the main brand. For one, you can tell that it was made with a different paper by how it feels." Avalanche said as they took out two cards. One was their prized copy of the ultra rare, "Master of Justice; Kenshiro the Awoken". The other was a strange card with a strange, almost monster like looking man in a fool costume. The name of the card was, "Arashi's Biggest Fan: Antioch." As Avalanche held both cards to Kenshin, his byakugan would be able to see through the fool card and see that there was a set of directions inscribed in the card itself. The directions seemingly went no where, however, as though they were not the only part of the map to find him.
▱▰▱The marshal continued his visually patrol of the area as Avalanche spoke. He ignored the vigilante's questions although was surprised by Avalanche's ability to follow his sight. When Avalanche presented him with a deck of cards including a rare version he was tempted to roll his own eyes. His distaste for this card game only grew further with each viewing. Apparently there was a card based on his likeness as well which he came to expect. I should be able to pursue legal action against this card company for using my likeness unlawfully. Kenshin thought spitefully as he stared at the mockery of a playing card. However, when the second one was presented to him his attention was more thoroughly captured. He grabbed the card swiftly from Avalanche before examining it kinesthetically as well as visually. "Antioch." Kenshin read aloud as he continued his examination. The directions in the card were revealed to him as well. "This card has a map." He told Avalanche after several long moments of analysis. "Or a piece of a map." Kenshin said with frustration as he examined more cards in the area to find a match. He also followed the path that the card would lead him to and found no suspects. It was all very cryptic and strange to him. Their department did have a cryptologist that he was likely needing to make more use of for this case. "Do you know who this Antioch is?" Kenshin asked of Avalanche as so many people seemed to know more about this mysterious rumored figure than he did.

The Hatake's chidori raiton inflicts a tier of full-body paralysis that is equivalent to the technique's rank up to the second tier. This paralysis lasts for two posts per rank of the technique at a maximum of six posts. Applying Chidori chakra to the Jyuken consumes a second offensive activation. • Storm Sage | Lightning techniques cast while in sage mode and when enhanced by nature chakra burn brighter and inflict a tier of blindness that is equivalent to the technique's rank. This blindness lasts for two posts per rank of the technique at a maximum of six posts.
Nuibari Attributes • Infinite Needles | While Nuibari functions perfectly fine as a long, thin blade that sits between a Jian and a Foil. It's comprised of infinite, instantly replenishing needles. If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.
Discipline & Cross Class Attributes • Expert: Rapier | The user has achieved a sense of mastery and focus unlike others and are known as an Expert, a dedicated focus over a weapon they use to near perfection. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, or two if dual wielding, to apply this focus toward with examples such as Katana, Spear, Bows or even Dual Daggers. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. They gain a [+1] boost to both speed and agility & techniques cost [5] less Chakra and/or Stamina per rank of the technique when wielding attacks with their specialized weapon in attack or defense. • Mystic Hero | The user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single activation. Limiting themselves to three of their class's styles, granting overwhelming in all three styles up to S Rank. Any additional slots that would be awarded for their class's styles are converted into a 2 point increase in any stats of their choosing. In addition, these masters of their arts are able to have a 1 point increase in their stats cap of 8 making it 9. Styles granted from rewards may be learned but do not carry the overwhelming property and the user is capped out at 5 styles.

The katana and rapier forms are the same size and constructed of the same materials. Getsuruito was considered a legendary artifact by the people of Seizan as it was wielded by an ancient general. When the rusted blade was awarded by the locals to Kenshin Kosei he discovered that it had the unique ability to merge with and empower one other weapon. When the katana was reworked to its fullest potential it had the abilities of his own weapon in addition to incredible lightning abilities. ▰ Ability Summary: Righteous Sword of the Sentinel [ Senchineru no Seigi no Ken ] | Rank E | Bloodline | Spiritual All forms of Hyuuga techniques including the gentle fist can be used through the sword for the 10 posts that this technique is active. This means that strikes involving the blade cause physical damage including stab wounds as well as seal tenketsu points and any other effects of the technique used through the sword. An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
