A man suddenly appeared approximately a thousand feet above where the demon was. With a closer look, those who knew him, would see that it was no other than Saiko. The man was on his way back from his war in the land of wind when he felt the disturbance of a demon miles away. A moment was all it took for Saiko to look over the battle field and see how things were going for everyone. It seemed that not all of the Uzu nin had been able to get to demon yet. However, the man noticed Karuto holding off the Gobi surprisingly well. That was until he was sent flying through several walls. What wasn't surprising was that the man was able to get back up after a throw like that. Just like Karuto to keep the fight going, no matter the scenario.
With another look, Saiko saw several genin and chuunin in the fray. They had no place here. This type of fight could kill even the strongest of jounin. The man's byakugan scanned over the chuunin and their chakra systems, his single byakugan moving under his eye patch. 'Hmm.' Thankfully the byakugan was part of the reason he was capable of seeing through the steam that was brought up by the creature. "Well, I guess I better help out." Saiko said with a smile on his face. The man formed several handseals. Once the set was complete, the vegetation in the entire area would begin twist and meld to his desire, eventually forming hundreds of clones. "Just had to ruin my homecoming." Saiko said with sincere irritation in his voice. Many of the clones immediately scattered to evacuate those who hadn't been able to escape yet. Four clones surrounded Koutetsu and another four surrounded Sumiko, ready to defend them or in some case, attack. Meanwhile another four clones surrounded Karuto, two of them placing their hands on him immediately to pulse the well known green chakra. "Be more careful." One of the clones said to the man as it healed him. His pain soon being replaced by a soothing sensation.
Saiko's attention turned to the water wall that the Sumiko had created. Korabo. His favorite specialty. Almost as if Saiko switched a light switch, his chakra flared with natural chakra as he entered his sage mode. It was obvious that he wasn't there to play games. The man was going to end this as quickly as possible to avoid further casualties. Once his sage mode was activated, the man created a series of hand seals once again. However, at the end of this set, a massive statue much larger than the Gobi if not hundreds times larger, appeared behind Saiko and the four clones that were with him. "Leave this village alone!" Saiko had a hatred for this creature ever since it helped destroy Sunagakure and he would have his retribution.
Two of the clones around him formed handseals, once they were finished, two large wooden dragons would come out of the ground to help restrain the creature, at the same time they would begin absorbing chakra from the creature.
'Not again, not ever again.'
Another one of the clones next to Saiko formed hand seals. These caused the statue behind him to move, then suddenly all of the thousands of hands on the statues back curled into fists. Once the fists were made, they each began head towards the creature at an incredible speed. The man crossed his arms and watched the product of his techniques. Each hand delivering a solid punch, punches that not even the Kyuubi was capable of withstanding. 'Hmph.'

Despite being a hundred foot demon with the force of a mountain, the Gobi was still ping ponged along by Karuto. Despite the momentum of the man, after the dust settled the demon still rose. It suffered more damage from being launched around than it did the actual blows it sustained. Nevertheless, the flinging motion Karuto chose to evoke did get him out of those demon chains. Despite Sumiko removing the steam cloud the demon could easily set it up once more. It was ready for another round.
That was... until two giant dragons slithered around it. Their weight caused the demon to be crushed into the ground. It felt its chakra be siphoned by the dragons. This was going too far. To bind it was one thing, but to steal its chakra? Were these humans no different than the men to whom he was bound and expected to serve? Not anymore! A bolt of lightning came directly from the sky and crashed down on the vines, as well as all of the other attacks launched by the great demon killer Saiko. The dragons dissolved into dust as the bolt also wounded the demon. Nevertheless, it stood and huffed as it looked down at the four humans and that one human's many clones. It began to charge when a large pot then dropped down upon it, hindering its moment temporarily.

"Sumiko! Just the girl I needed to see." Chie said casually as though nothing was wrong. She walked by the hundreds of Saiko clones as she looked to Koutetsu and Sumiko. Koutetsu did appear exhausted, but she would not push him to leave. With the village in the state of disarray it was in she needed all hands on deck. Besides, she had a feeling his services would be needed soon. Before that, however, she looked at her replacement academy teacher and moved closer to her.
"I need to whisper something to you." She said as she moved right by the woman's ears. With Sumiko's level of comprehension, it would be easy for her to translate the words Chie explained. It was a sealing jutsu, one powerful enough to attach a demon to a human host. It was the manner of sealing designed by the lost village of Otogakure, where the seal's strength was dependent on the demon sealed. All of the seals made were made to seal odd tailed demons, however, which the demon in front of them certainly was. When Chie finished whispering the instructions she moved back and smiled at the woman.
"We're going to korabo the seal to make it work Sumiko. I'm going to make the markings on the demon itself while you find the proper host to put it into." She said confidently. She was probably sure that sealing a demon was not on Sumiko's list of things to do today, but it wasn't like Chie had many other options. The sealing process was far too lengthy to be done properly by one person. If she wanted this over in an efficient manner then she was going to have to rely on her student to help her out. "I'm going to mark up the demon. You need to mark up the proper host. Then, when I give the sign, you and I both need to press our palms into our proper partners. If all goes right, then the demon will be sealed. If all goes wrong..."
As she finished speaking, another strike of lightning fell from the sky. The demon's urn was shattered, and the monster gave a feverish cry as it wanted all of the humans present to be dead. Chie sighed as she gestured at the creature. "That will happen." She said nonchalantly. Her eyes trailed along the Saiko clones until she spotted the real one a thousand feet above. Her hand rose to her mouth as an incantation circle manifested from her chakra. Her voice was then projected to Saiko as she said, "Welcome back Saiko. Sorry things have been a little hectic since your field trip to the land of wind. Any chance you can help bind this thing while I mark it down to be sealed away?" She asked rhetorically. She knew that Saiko would help her out, which is why she took to the skies and flew straight at the demon. She did not bother to launch anymore attacks since she knew that the other ninjas would perform their roles and help seal this beast. After all, that's why she had the will of a village behind her.

~THE CHOUGA CHRONICLES~ -A tale of a now simple postman's path to redemption by standing his ground in a sudden war- It likely hadn't even been realized. That the warzone that the five tails had left behind had attracted a sprinting man's attention. That sprinting man was me."What the cra..nberries?" I didn't know anything about demons or the like, I'd see bolts of lightning, clouds of steam, the loud thunderous booms of flying fists. I looked at the distance and I would see the mansion estate in which my seventeen were said to be taking shelter in. Just down the caldera. Perhaps it could be fatherly intinct...or something else. My...help...it likely wasn't even necessary but I'd be damned if I just stood idle. If there were others there, then I had one thing that they did not. Perhaps they had access to an extensive array of elements and justsu...but the element I would have would be surprise, something that a creature mayhaps already weakened would not expect.
I would shunsin into the fray while, in that moment I saw a man and a collection of strangers and one exhausted looking youth...and an army of clones. If anything...at all even if in this moment I had not redeemed my title of shinobi I would take advantage of the situation that presented itself before me. There was a menagerie of distractions, people that this beast had likely kept his focus on, worn down by, and bore resentment for. I likely hadn't been noticed one body among hundred and when the strange pot struck the beings head I'd make my move.
A flourish of hand signs and by the time the Gobi could come to utter whatever swear it was for being mildly inconvenienced, there would be two giants now. One that begged the question "Where the hell did he come from?" before the five tailed creature could get its bearings I did what I would have done instinctually I took my large meaty arms and locked the things head with them in a headlock of giant muscle. If it had a windpipe I'd be laying on the pressure thicker than thieves at a fine art convention. It was then that I'd notice Chie was in the crowd of whom I'd addressed with booming voice to rival the Gobi.
"I realize perhaps I may be overstepping my bounds here Chie-Dono. Yet I could not sit idly by when a threat such as this imposes on the safety of my childre..er the inhabitants of the village. As unnecessary as it might perhaps be. If I am to be thoroughly honest I have no idea what is going on but I can draw to the conclusion it appears to be not good." I could feel my vice loosening ever just the slightest amount before I tightened it again. I didn't know the overall conditions of the villagers aiding in this creatures sealing but if I could make their burden any less, lord knows I'd try.

Koutetsu felt her hand on his shoulder and looked Sumiko in the face. A little older than he remembered, but just as stunning. Absently, he remembered the last time they had been this close. Back when they were in the academy and just beginning to learn how to escape Genjutsu.
Suddenly he seemed to be face-to-face with a big bushy beard as though the somewhat attractive young woman that had been studying alongside him had suddenly been replaced by a young man who had seemingly been marooned on an isle for two decades.. He blinked once, before accepting it. "Alright. If this is gonna work, we do it on my countdown, got it? I'm gonna count down from three and when I say go, we hit it."
Koutetsu snapped out of his mental wanderings and focused back on his surroundings just as eight beings appeared around him and Sumiko. Clones, he thought to himself after a brief examination determined they were all the same person. Not a moment sooner did a more familiar face appear, "Uzukage-dono," Koutetsu said nodding to Chie-sensei. As she spoke to the beautiful Uzumaki, Koutetsu looked around to see if he could spot where Karuto-sensei had landed. He could see him surrounded by clones. His attention was quickly grabbed when he heard the plan. "Seal it?" he muttered to himself, as he approached the downed Raiken. His body propped against a Sakura tree as he was tended to by a clone of Saiko. His skin was as red as his gi, the damage he had sustained from his one-man assault of the Gobi evident. An intense flash of lightning, from where the demon stood, drew his attention.
The demon, free of its previous restraint roared defiantly. Koutetsu stared at the strange and powerful creature, taking in its details for the first time. The first thing he noticed was that its skin appeared to be smooth similar to porpoises or dolphins and yet its build was more akin to the horses he had seen in the past. Its five tails waved in the air, the Bijuu clearly agitated by the previous assault. Two large beings grew into existence and latched around its neck holding it in place. Koutetsu could see Chie-sensei and another man in the skies preparing to battle the beast further.
Koutetsu glanced around, but it appeared everyone else had been evacuated. He took stock of who remained on the battlefield. The new arrivals-- Saiko, Chie, and the person of immense stature-- All were occupied with holding of the Gobi. It was clear to Koutetsu that Karuto may not live through any further injury and certainly not through a potentially dangerous sealing. Which left Him and Sumiko, who was tasked with performing the no-doubt difficult ritual. Koutetsu didn't see any other option and didn't want the village to suffer anymore losses today. If they didn't succeed here, there very well wouldn't be an Uzushiogakure to return to. He strode towards his former classmate. "Sumiko," he said quietly, borderline hesitant but resolute nonetheless, "Use me."

Sumiko watched as all of their attacks were brushed aside by the demon. It seemed that nothing was really going to have any effect on this creature. It could match them for chakra and could more than outmatch them in simple strength and endurance. Her own chakra pools were half depleted and she had nothing to really show for it other than an enraged demon.
That was when Sumiko felt a familiar presence in the air. She turned to see Chie standing right next to her. She had quickly made her way to Sumiko's side, where she knelt down and began to whisper in her. Sumiko's eyes widened as she listened to Chie describe a very powerful sealing technique, one that was normally reserved solely to the Kage. Sumiko struggled to remember every detail. Normally a technique like this would be well beyond her ability but with Chie here, she would only need to perform half of it.
When Chie was done speaking, Sumiko nodded her understanding that she understood what needed to be done. "I hope this works, for all our sakes." Sumiko then turned to find someone that she could place the seal on. Her own body wouldn't really be possible. The next logical course was probably that huge man that was wrestling the demon by himself, but his wounds meant there was a chance that he wouldn't be able to survive the binding process. Next likely was the man that had made the hundreds of clones but he was going with Chie to help her restrain the demon. That left only Koutetsu nearby.
As Sumiko turned to look at Koutetsu, she realized that he had likely come to the same conclusion. With his body almost entirely drained of chakra, he made a suitable and almost empty vessel for the demon. "I can't promise you this won't kill you Koutetsu. I'm sorry." Sumiko proceeded to help Koutetsu lay down on his back, exposing a section of skin on his stomach. Sumiko placed her hand on his skin and almost instantly an intricate seal began to twist its away across his skin. "While I can't fully supress the demon inside of you, I can give you this one gift that should make it a little more bearable." Around the edges of the seal that Chie had taught Sumiko, another seal began to form. Saiko's eyes continued to scan the battle field as he waited for the creature to be taken down by the statue that he had created. As the man looked, he noticed a new person entering the battle field. It only took a moment to see that it was Chie, or the pretty girl with the pink hair as he so affectionately referred to her as. As he noticed her, lightning fell down behind him and all around him, destroying his statue as well as the dragons he had created. The man sighed a sigh of annoyance as he was about to prepare hand seals. That was until a urn fell down upon the creature. The smell of burning wood infested the air all around the shinobi. It smelt as an entire forest had burned to the ground in a matter of seconds.
Awaiting orders, Saiko had his two clones on Karuto continue to heal the man and attempt to get him into better shape so he could perhaps continue to fight. The man may not be able to return to combat, which was fine. Saiko would deal with not having him. Saiko's orders came to him and he was ready to deal with this creature. The clones that were around Koutetsu and Sumiko suddenly moved into a square formation around the two of them as Sumiko began her preparation for the seal. The other clones that had been helping with evacuation suddenly turned around and faced the demon. "We did not wish this for you but, the group that sealed you before forced our hand." The clone army would speak in unison. Twenty of the clones then created hand seals with a single hand. Once these hand seals were completed, each of the clones arms would turn into a tree, the branches of said tree suddenly growing out and attempting to restrain the creature's tails. It was a relatively weak jutsu but, with this many clones, it became a much more intimidating technique.
This wasn't the end of Saiko's tricks however. The man performed his own hand seals above the creature, each hand performing the same sequence. Once these were finished, hands the size of the bijuu itself rose out of the grounds around it. Four in total. Each of the hands would grab a limb and pull outward, forcing the bijuu onto it's stomach. The man didn't need to worry about holding the creature's head down thanks to the other man that had come their aid. Saiko didn't know his name but, he would be sure to get it. At this point, Saiko realized he had burned through about half of his chakra but, he wasn't that concerned about it really. If all else failed, he had means of quick regeneration and he could transfer to close combat.

The demon charged right at Chie. It was ready to knock this flying girl straight out of the air. That was, until some new person arrived. His sized grew rapidly and, before the demon could respond, it found its head locked into place by the new muscle man. Obviously this was not ideal, which is why the demon started gathering chakra to make a steam cloud to melt him. However, just as it was molding the chakra, wooden pillars rose from the ground. They coiled around its majestic tails and chakra was being drained too quickly to mold chakra. It was going to have to call forth natural lightning once more to clear the wood. Before it got the chance, however, massive wooden hands emerged from the ground and forced it to the ground. It stomach was exposed as it tried in vain to kick away its restraints. When nothing worked, however, the demon neighed in dismay.

Chie was more than relieved at the prospect of the demon being handled by her village. This unity of power and practice reminded her of why she loved her home. To see all of these shinobi from different walks of life unite together through impossible odds. It was the force of the shinobi which caused the impossible to become possible. And Chie was going to show that to anyone who doubts the might of a nation.
She flew over to the exposed stomach. Saiko's arms and Chouga's torso kept them in check. She moved quickly to layer the ink drawing of the seal. Its design was intricate and her mastery of fuuinjutsu was limited. However, she was the master of ninjutsu, so even though it was her first attempt at sealing a demon, she had no doubts of her ability. All she needed was for Sumiko to perform her part. Chie hoped the girl didn't choose Karuto as the host. With how damaged he appeared there was no way that he would survive the sealing. Now that she thought about it, there was pretty much a bad reason to seal it into any person present in this place. Chie just hoped that Sumiko didn't choose someone who could die.
When she finished her part she flew away from the demon. She hovered around Chouga's head and gently brushed his giant cheek. "You have done more good for the village without a title than you have with one. You have earned my trust and my admiration, Chouga Atsui." She said with a smile. An incantation circle manifested around her hand which projected her voice to Sumiko. "The seal is in place. On my count, place your palm onto the seal. We'll know one way or another if we made the right call." She said solemnly. Her right palm kept the incantation circle near her mouth active while her left extended away from her. The ink in which she drew her seal glistened with pink chakra as the incantation circle started to mold seals.
"On my mark; Three.
Two.
One."
On that last word, she pressed her chakra into the incantation circle, which would activate the seal on the demon. Only time will tell if Sumiko was synchronized with her, and if the seal shall work.

As Chie finished her countdown, Sumiko pressed her plam hard against the seal that had been created. Almost instantly, the seal flared to life in an explosion of colors and light as the massive demon was sucked into the seal created by Chie and stored within the seal on Koutetsu. In only a few brief moments, the demon vanished from sight and the seal on Koutetsu began to gradually fade away until it was no longer visible. It's finally over, Sumiko thought to herself as she relaxed her grip. Her shadow clone behind her signaled to Chie that everything had succeeded and then dispersed.
However, this was not the end of Sumiko's long day. She walked over to Karuto and roused him by gently shaking his shoulder. "Keep an eye on him," she said motioning to Koutetsu. "I have somewhere else I need to be I think." With that, Sumiko took off as fast as her tired feet could carry her.
~THE CHOUGA CHRONICLES~ -A tale of a now simple postman's path to redemption by standing his ground in a sudden war- My face tried to resist the urge to turn red being touched by the woman of whom he I had a dream about not long ago of which the details I will keep to myself seeing as I find it in good nature to assume children may be reading this one day. You'll understand when you're older. I'd watch a display of wooden might relieving me of my duties as I'd start shrinking down to my normal usual size. I in this moment would let out a sigh of relief as the sealing took place. Letting loose to a sigh I'd see across in the distance about ten familiar faces. I couldn't for the moment take a break and I rose my voice and raised my fist. "WHAT ARE YA DOIN HERE! ARE YA ALL SOME KINDA STUPID!"
I would bow to Chie and the others, the aftermath of this situation I couldn't concern myself with as I ran towards the gaggle of teens and pre-teens. "Who said you could be here! When did you get here! This is dangerous ninja work! Ya coulda been hurt!" "Last I checked you weren't a ninja anymore, so we could be asking you the same question Chouga-sensei" "I er..uh." leave it to Namatame to poke holes in my words. "Listen that don't matter! You needa get outta here it still might not be safe!" "Big words coming from the guy that had Nanako drag his unconscious a** half-way cross the village." "Listen here, you coconut what happened then doesn't mean a lick here. Keiji! You were supposed to keep everyone at the mansion I trusted you!" Sighing the elder of the group shook his head and shrugged with both arms in the air "I tried Chou-san but you know how Nanako is" speaking of I'd turn to where I saw said girl readily about to scold her. "NANA..." That's when I felt a punch to my gut that made my knees buckle slightly so that for a moment she was taller than me...and then she..well railed into me.
"Where do you get off thinking we're some kinda stupid! You almost died once already and expect us just to sit there waiting, twiddling our ******** thumbs when we see your huge a** out the window fighting some who knows what! You were just sent to the hospital to get better and you pull that s**t on us! If anyone is some kinda stupid..ITS YOU!" as I looked back up I'd see Nanako's fist still clenched nails digging into her skin, biting her lip, biting back angry tears. That's right. In that moment I realized my actions had consequences. I never really thought myself as anything more than a patrolman and a mail courier but to these kids, I had spent so much of my time with, I was in some cases a mentor, a teacher, a legendary fisherman's apprentice, a savior, a line cook, a means to give gifts, a guardian, a man, a cool dude, a matchmaker, a rival, a boyfriend, a pet owner, a punching bag, a voice in the dark, and in some cases all they felt they had, but in all cases I was a friend.
But as I looked up I would see something, something that mayhaps the others did not, relaxed in their moment of victory and in all manners it was something these kids didn't. The attempt the five tails tried to invoke natural lightning wasn't completely made moot. A cloud sparked in the sky and that's when I acted as fast as I could my palms and body grew large and massive, the kids were all confused, by this as they all wondered what was going on as Keiji made an assumption and looked up the rest followed. I, however, would then forcibly gather all the kids in one clump and bring them close to me like an embrace forcing them all to duck as I leaned in above them, in that moment, lightening struck. Squarely on my back the fluff of coat smoldered.
On my back there would be a burning pain, the smell of burning flesh. Black gnarled skin, and exposed muscle fibers. This likely may have attracted someone's attention. Perhaps Chie's what with the sound of the lightning to see what had happened. A large searing wound which would scar in my future would leave a reminder forever with me of what I said that day. "No matter what, no matter how angry I am, I won't let a single thing hurt you guys." I had a flashback to how I got my Chunnin title in the first place, it wasn't because of heroic feats of assassination, or diligent work in the field, it was because my hardheadedness to protect the ones I cared about. Shikinada, Inomei, If you could see me now, I wonder what you'd think of the guy that denied the anbu application?
That's when I heard Kahoru start crying, and all the other younger ones start to. The older ones looking guilty if not holding back tears, but it was Kahoru the youngest with her nose filled with snot that spoke for all of them. "Ish.. ish..our fauld you god huuurd ishn't it?" I responded in a laugh. It hurt like something fierce in fact I was pretty uncertain how I was managing to remain standing but times like these..hard heads just gotta shrug it off and look strong. "Hurt? Naw! I didn't even feel it. Still don't. Keiji's cooking will kill me before some piece o sh...poo lightning strike does." "Tch" Keiji would wipe away a single tear slightly bitter. Hanako would then move in closer for to hug me. "You're still stupider than us." following by example the rest of the kids started to wrap themselves around my frame. Cool kids like Tadaso,Ginatro, and Namatame having to be threatened by Nanako force to join in. Getting covered in snot, and tears...I guess made the colossal wound on my back..hurt just a little less as I made sure to return those embraces with these huge hands for a touchingly photogenic scene among the lakes waters. ~Protecting the Kids 3~

He was a failure. He couldn't stop anything, save anyone, by himself. He knew he would fail but he still had had to try. When everyone else showed up they got the situation under control almost immediately. A rush of embarrassment flooded through Karuto, ashamed that he had been taken down by an enemy everyone else toyed with. Still, that feeling was nothing against the mountain of agonizing pain he felt from his wounds. While, yes, Saiko was here using a medical technique to lessen the trauma it was a mere bucketful of water against an inferno. The techniques he was using were more aimed at stabilization and make sure the patient didn't die before reaching a hospital. At least Karuto was able to talk now. His bloody hair hung over his eyes, matted with grime and gore. As everyone stopped by him he realized he was just a liability now- something to be protected. Weakly, he spoke to Saiko and Chie "I'm...sorry. I failed. I was too weak" A tear ran down the Raiken's cheek. Every time it was up to him, every time he could be a true hero he failed. The death of Nari, Sunagakure's destruction and now this demon attack- a failure each and every time.

Koutetsu smiled at Sumiko, though with no actual joy or confidence, before replying, "Hey. Don't go doubting yourself now. I'll be fine. I trust you." Letting himself be guided to the ground, he helped clear his shirt away so she could work on the seal. As Sumiko worked quickly at the seal, Koutetsu watched her carefully. Although she had looked like a burly guy at the time, the same display of intense focus showed on her face like it had when they were studying Kai. Koutetsu was reminded briefly of the previous Uzukage, Sanae, as Sumiko had matured since then. She seemed far more elegant, like a sword having been polished til it gleamed in the sun.
Gazing past the Uzumaki, Koutetsu could see the demon was dragged onto its back. Despite the two large beings grasping its head, Koutetsu could just make out one of its eyes. Fear, anger, sadness, and resignation shown in that large blue eye. Koutetsu drew his eyes to the sky as weariness began to sink in. Mom's gone. The village is suffering. We're now at war. Karuto-sensei held a demon off single-handedly and I couldn't even lay a hand on my opponent. I finally get to catch up with Sumiko and she's sealing a demon into my body. Today can't get much worse. He thought to himself. Koutetsu looked back at Sumiko, just as she pressed her palm onto his stomach.
In most cases a bijuu would be sealed into a baby to create a jinchuriki, this being because the Chakra system wouldn't be fully developed and being more malleable would easily adapt to the additional chakra of the bijuu sealed. As Koutetsu was a teenager, his Chakra system had mostly developed to what it would be when he was an adult. The seal attached itself to his chakra system and forcefully adapted it as the Gobi was sucked into its prison. Koutetsu screamed along with the unearthly cries of the demon bound to him. His vocal chords and jaw swiftly slamming shut, abruptly cutting the sound off. His body convulsed as waves of agony rolled through his body, his very insides feeling as though it was on the receiving end of the beasts steam. His eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed back against the ground; The pain of having the five-tails sealed into him rendering him unconscious.

The man watched as his clones went to work on the creature, preventing it from moving and causing more mayhem. "Goodbye demon." Saiko would say under his breath as it was pulled into the seal that Chie and Sumiko had prepared. The man couldn't blame the demon, it was forced into this war much like he and the rest of the shinobi were. Under different circumstances perhaps it could be free. However, Saiko was sure that Koutetsu wouldn't mishandle the creature and treat it as it should.
With the disappearance of the demon, came the disappearance of almost all of Saiko's clones, each of them returning to the Earth from whence they came. The only ones to stay were the two currently healing Karuto and another two that stuck around Koutetsu. Saiko floated down to the ground as Sumiko left the boy with Karuto and the other clones. As the man was floating down, the clone spoke to Karuto. "Well, no you're not. An ordinary person, I.e. me would have died under the strain that you just put your body through. You held the demon back and saved lives. If it weren't for you, who knows how many innocent people would have died if it weren't for you distracting it long enough for the rest of us to arrive. Success wasn't about beating this demon, Karuto. It was making sure the villagers were safe and for that you were a massive success. Our job as Shinobi is to make sure the Village is safe. Failure is success in progress, Karuto." Quite possibly the most Saiko had ever spoke but, his voice rang true. The demon never even made it away from the lake because of Karuto. The villagers would see him for the hero he actually is. Once the real Saiko was on the ground, he had his clones lift each of the two people up. "Chie, I'm bringing these two to the hospital to make sure they are properly fixed up and that he..." Saiko dropped his voice. The boy needed to be under careful eye until he woke up to make sure he didn't die while the seal was adjusting to his body and Saiko was sure Chie knew that. This would be the weakest the boy would be possibly ever.
Without waiting for confirmation from Chie, the clones and Saiko took off at a full run with the two.
Chie felt a wave of relief when the seal worked. It poofed away into a cloud of smoke, and the final threat to the village was neutralized. It was over. Now all that remained was the aftermath. She had not yet looked behind her to see which of the people were selected to be the demon host. She told herself mentally that she would not blame Sumiko no matter who she chose. The young chuunin was given an impossible task. In Chie's heart, however, she had an answer. The only person she could willingly sacrifice to the seal and had the highest probability of survival at their current state was Saiko. Of course he was thousands of feet away so Sumiko would have had to have gotten creative, but she had hope. All of that hope crumbled, however, when a single scream filled her ears. It wasn't the scream of Karuto, or Saiko, or Chouga.
It was the scream of her former student; Koutetsu.
Her heart froze. She gently lowered herself to the ground while her face carried the weight of a nation. Koutetsu was the one selected. Koutetsu, the academy student who sliced a desk on his first day. The boy who used Karuto as a human shield for his academy graduation exam. The genin who came to her for guidance when he had no concept of what to do next as a shinobi. Koutetsu was implanted with the burden of a demon. Koutetsu was placed on this journey of agony and torment. Koutetsu was burdened, and Chie could not stop it.
She was frozen in thought, Chouga played with his children, and Sumiko left. She was like a plank as the world around her moved by. It wasn't until Saiko took the wounded Karuto and now demon infused Koutetsu to the hospital so that they could get treatment that she snapped back. She became alert only when her former student was taken from her. She felt alone when they left. She felt alone with her sins as they left. She was alone with her sins. Her fury made her want to lash out. First on Kogarashi for sending rogues into the village. Then on Karuto for killing a rogue he didn't need to and accidentally unsealing a demon. And then on Sumiko for making the rash decision to impart the demon on one of her fellow academy graduates. In the end, she knew these blame games to be scapegoats. She had failed to keep the village safe. But this would be the last time that she failed.
Resolve took hold of her as she left for the hospital. She needed to make sure Koutetsu was safe. Once he was, then she could begin the next part of her journey.

PassiveEffects: _โ Korabo S-ranked ___โ Able to use Korabo up to A-ranked with herself. _โ Electric Resistance Training ___โ Negates harm from own lightning ninjutsu _โ Ninjutsu Alchemy ___โ This technique allows Chie to passively Korabo two jutsu together. The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. Overall this technique's only purpose is to make Chie more cool by utilizing all of her elements and having them combine into super cool ways like a wizard should. _โ Hidden Mist Vision ___โ Sees clearly during hidden mist technique, or mist in general. _โ Fire Resistance Training ___โ Negates harm from own fire ninjutsu _โ True Belief ___โ The user has meditated and trained long enough in this monk art to understand how important true belief is. By understanding the power of the spirit over the mind, and the mind over the body, the user has increased their stamina by sheer will power alone, as well as increased their toughness and durability. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter. _โ Thread Walking ___โ By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Following this training, the user does not suffer from adverse climate effects. Following this training, the practitioner finds themselves capable of using all techniques in the Style up to the highest learned rank of the Soft Physical Formless Style for 10 less Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina. _โ Acclimation ___โ The user acclimates to moving in their armor by wearing it during normal daily activities. After completing this training, the user can move in any armor as though it were properly fitted for them personally. This provides one descriptive rank in strength and fortitude to techniques using the armor per stage learned in this Style. _โ Shifting Position ___โ The user practices their art by moving across a shifting surface--such as sand or mud--with their armor. Appearance/Apparel:
The first image below (spoiler) reflects her physical appearance as well as her typical apparel. She wears stylish glasses over basic make up with a thin white shirt that is waaaay toooo soft, comfortable, and snug to look this thin. Her shirt is not lengthy yet drapes enough to make it a mystery if she is wearing anything underneath. However, when her shirt slightly lifts from time to time it reveals a garter set that conceals a good amount of skin but is still quite suggestive. She typically always sports a choker that she pairs with a leash for special occasions. Lastly, a pair of stylish heels that work well with her setup, since she is not very combative for a serial killer. Her outfits usually come in a variation of colors such as white, gray, and black, but time from time she may coordinate the colors differently to avoid being too predictable and plain. Shackles are laced around the ankles with chain bonds which are just for entertainment. She has 3 separate markings with two being depicted in the first image containing a tattoo riding under the collar bone and in her cleavage. The second image contains a tattoo similar to the Dharma Power Seal, but unlike the picture this marking is located on the lower back rather than the upper back instead of what is depicted in the image.

Aya sighs taking off looking for the described cat. She had looked for people before and had never found one unless they found her. How the hell was she going to find a cat? Anyway she began walking through the village casually not really putting much effort into eye spying the cat. She almost did not care to pass this mission.
That was until she heard a slight ruffling in a bush and a predatory cat sound. Aya would slowly approach the bush as all the action began to simmer down. She crouched to her knees then uplifted the hanging limbs of the bush to spot a cat. It was kinda cute even to Aya who was mostly hardened over. Love, empathy, affection, nurturing, and knowledge were all merely was to navigate life. However, this cat was warming to her heart when she spotted it trying to trap a mice under it's little paws.
Aya koo'd as her wide-eyes oogled in watery delight. "Aww!" Her voice shrilled as she snatched up the cat before any of it's scurry could make any way. She scooped him up in a cradle and gently leveraged the creature until it realized it was both futile and safe. Then Aya would nuzzle her nose into the creatures stomach then her face against it's cheek. The cat seemed to be caught left field as it stared into space, but then thought it would enjoy the affectionate behavior from a human. Aya would take off with the cat to return it. [E X I T]

Catching cats, far from a glorious task. For her part, Coda didn't see why she should be covering the a** of people who didn't know how to be responsible pet owners. But they paid for the service, which, she supposed, entitle them to some sort of service. [1/3] Though, something about that notion did call into question the entire structure of the village. Were they not, in fact, mercenaries if they sold their work? And did this not make the settlement akin to a mercenary army. [2/3] And why, in the name of anything holy, would you hire a mercenary army to find a cat? It was all rather strange, she had to admit. More clean up detail. Monotonous, yes, but at least good exercise. She couldn't help but wonder why people were so messy though. You'd think, eventually, the ninja would get mad at having to pick stuff up. [1/3] Though, as she hucked some garbage into a bag, it did occur to her that it was a good excuse to work the rabble out. Spend all your time picking up garbage and chasing cats, don't have to actually pay for the service. [2/3] Why hire someone when you could have someone whose job it isn't do it instead. It made a lot of sense honestly. She'd have commended the higher ups for their ingenuity if she didn't despise the very premise.[3/3] [ Clean-Up Detail ]
Wrappers and cans, the lakeside was a mess of stuff left by all sorts. You'd think someone would eventually wail on the kids who left all this crap. Then again, the kids who left all this crap were probably shinobi themselves. [1/3] How many times were the ones cleaning the mess the ones who made it? Didn't seem too unlikely as she stuffed a cup ramen into her trash bag. The kind of food kids ate. [2/3] Coda wrapped up her cleaning and tied the bag closed. With any luck, she'd never be back down here picking up the garbage again. But, well, luck didn't seem like a factor for the uninitiated of the shinobi world and she definitely wasn't that.
