Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

Finally, Niko was home. It was a long, long, very long day. She just wanted to forget about it. She went to the shower and undressed when she heard a bark. She peeked out to see Hisashi looking saddened. "I'm sorry Niko... I was a burden today, I know. I just was excited about learning how to speak..." Niko sighed as she went over and rubbed his head. She gave him the "everything is alright" look and with that he was reassured. He barked in joy and went to his comfy spot to get comfy. Niko finished her shower and sat down at the table. She activated her sharingan and opened up one of the scrolls she had gotten from Ryota.

As Niko read, she tried to use one of the techniques that she came across. She began to focus her mind and her muscles. This loosened her up some and made her feel more comfortable as well as stronger and faster. She could understand how and what was going on as she watch the flow of her own chakra with the sharingan. She was beginning to become somewhat accustomed to it. 12/15

Niko continued on until she came across another technique she wanted to try. This was a technique similar to the last one, but puts the emphasis on the strike rather than the attack. The point of impact took more damage then it should. Niko would try this with a kitchen knife. Surprisingly enough, Niko managed to cut a small portion of her table off clean. 13/15

"Whoops..."

Niko would continue on with the reading of the scrolls. She was getting more and more versed in the style she had trained with Ryota in. She had learned so much just from reading. She wanted to try some of these techniques herself. With her sharingan still active, Niko grabbed two kunai.

She began to practice switching them from rested positions to combat positions. Then, she became a little more fancy with it. It was so unique and the style was very quick, it made it appear like Niko was always holding both at the same time, as if that made sense. The switches were so quick and fast, you couldn't see it with normal eyes. 14/15

After reading some more, Niko discover a technique much like a previous technique she had learned. The first technique encompassed making an "air" blade that follows the real blade itself. This "air" blade swings differently then the real blade and can be hit with up to one second later. The technique she learned now just increased the number of air blades by a crazy amount. It was safe to say she was happy to learn that technique. 15/15

At this point, Niko was getting tired. Still, she only had so much more to read. She continued on with a yawn. "Illusory Double?" Niko read this and was intrigued. It was basically a close range stab, that quickly turned into another attack. The attack is even faster than that of the shunshin. It even maintained the same momentum meaning it was nowhere weaker like it should be. It even leaves her in a position to attack again. She would begin to find ways to incorporate this into her combat style as she read on.

With her being in the final stanza of the scroll, Niko had fully advanced in a style to the highest stage she could. She was looking at the volume of the scroll after that one before hand and that one showed techniques she had no chance of pulling off now. Now matter how good she was, she still had her limits. The scroll's final stanza spoke of "disarming" an opponent. There were multiple different ways to do so, so the scroll didn't go into full detail but did explain enough of the concept for her to understand. Simple enough, Niko closed the scroll and took a deep breath.

Niko let out a large sigh of accomplishment followed by another yawn. With that, Niko was finally off to sleep.

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

Niko awoke to a beautiful sun. The air outside was clean and refreshing, while the sky was muddied with the most brilliant of blues. Niko immediately woke up and began to continue her self training with the sharingan. She grabbed one of the scrolls, this one focusing on the snake sword. Apparently, it was much easier for her to use now after activating. It used to be a confidence issue, but now it felt as if she was returning to her ZelenΓ‘ days.

Her skills with a blade have done nothing but increase since then, but back then, she felt more control and mastery. Now, the Yamakagashi has become the main focal point, and with these new techniques, Niko's nostalgia was very welcomed. She had come a long way from the "Shinobi For Hire"

Niko thought it best to head to the roof. The first thing she practiced was a technique the scroll called "Snake Charmer" and seemed simple. Niko began to spin the whip blade around until the tip was circling around her overhead. She was doing a great job but the consistency was hard to keep up. She knew if she was going to be using this move, it would be for defense only. There was no way anyone was getting close to her without getting hit. Unless they were super, super short, then it may be a problem.

Moving on, the next technique was similar to how Niko planned her genjutsu. It was a crack of the whip. The whip itself does no damage, but the sound it emits, could change the momentum of a battle quickly. The sound is designed to stop concentration and disrupt the opponent. It makes it that much harder for the opponent to get any type of leverage or upper hand. Techniques like this are great to have on deck and Niko was happy to add it to her arsenal.

Niko next tried a technique that wasn't really for damage. This was a knockback or a keep away. Niko flicked her wrist, causing the whip to spin outward in a coil. It was kind of like a lasso with a lot of force. She could also spin the whip blade around herself for a similar result. These scrolls have been a huge help to her, but Niko really had to be grateful to the sharingan. She still couldn't stand it. It was her least favorite thing about herself. If it wasn't for it though, Niko wouldn't have come so far. She was met with conflicting feelings.

Niko jumped back down from the roof. It was still early, so Niko had plenty of time to start her day. She did so differently today though. She pulled out an old bag with a scroll. Hisashi woke up to see her. After his morning stretches, he barked and walked over to Niko with a weird face. "Hey Niko. What're you doing? And why are you smiling like that?" Hisashi was right. It was strange for Niko to be smiling so joyfully this early in the morning. Niko released the seal and a green and white outfit popped up in a cloud of smoke. With another smile, Niko went to dress.

When Niko came back out, she looked different. Not because of the change of clothes, but because of the persona that came with them. She seemed more airy and happier than she normally was. She looked more anxious as if she were excited for something. She also seemed more conscious about her looks. It was safe to say, for the first time in a long time, Hisashi saw Niko acting like a girl. When she was done, Hisashi looked over her in awe. She was very pretty today. "Wow Niko! You look great! But why'd you pull out ZelenΓ‘? Going back to work for hire?" Niko shook her head as she fixed her hair. She placed a black bow in it. When she was satisfied, she smiled and turned to the door. There was still a lot of time to kill before her spar with Itsuki. She thought she would try to find a job until then. She had a lot of work to do before she could consider herself a great shinobi, and she needed money for that. What better way to do that than by going back to work? She motioned to Hisashi with a big smile.

"Well Hisashi... Let's go find some work."

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Yui & Aoi

Niko and Hisashi came back to the housing district to pick something up from home. On their way back to go find Itsuki, they ran into two people we haven't seen in ages. They were covered in paint for some reason and seemed to be very pleased with themselves. "Hey Niko! Long time no see!" Yui and Aoi rushed over to see Niko. "Like we literally saw them the other. Don't be so dramatic Yui. Anyway, how'd your date go with that Itsuki guy? And like what's with this new outfit?" Niko sighed. It was strange, but she felt like she hasn't seen them in a while. It was a welcome relief.

"It was not a date. We spoke, that is all. And I just felt like a bit of change would be nice." Aoi nodded in agreement. "I like you in red but you can pull of green like even better. You look like really good." Yui nodded as well. Then she turned to Hisashi. "And what's with you? Weren't you a human last time we saw you?" Hisashi barked to explain forgetting that she couldn't understand him. "Apparently I'm on punishment..." Yui just looked dumbfounded and laughed. "He is in trouble now. I may let him transform again when he learns to behave his mouth, but for now no. So what's with you two. Why are you covered in paint?" Yui and Aoi just looked at each other and laughed. "No reason!" They both answered as they walked off. "Like we gotta get going now." "Yeah! We'll see you later Niko! Have a gooood daaaaaayyy! They sped off in a hurry leaving Hisashi and Niko standing there.

They continued walking when they came upon a house that had a mess of graffiti on it. The words read very, very, very bad things and was all over the side of the house. There was a man standing outside looking it over freaking out. He looked really pissed off. Niko approached him thinking she may know who might have done this. After speaking to the man for a moment, the man didn't know who the culprit(s) were. Niko told the man that she would not only clean it up, but she would find out who did it and bring them back to apologize.

Niko began washing the paint off. It was hard at first, but with a bit of elbow grease, she was able to remove some of the harsh words. Not all of it would come off so easy however. Niko tried her best to scrub everything away, but there were little shavings of paint still lingering. Niko wasn't frustrated however. She knew there was still a way to fix it. She would just have to go over it.

Niko walked over to the man and asked if he had any paint himself. Luckily, the man wasn't the owner, and this house wasn't being used. In fact, it was a new unit altogether. It was vacant and empty. The man was just there to finish and get the house sold. It was strange though as the man came back with the paint. "Why would Yui and Aoi paint over a house like this?"

Niko came back to go over the wall again. Instead of doing one portion, she did the whole wall itself, matching the coat to the other sides as well. It did take longer than expected, and it was almost dusk by the time Niko finished. Still, Niko finished the job for the man. "Oh man! You're a life saver! I really wanna thank you! How can I do that?" Niko just shook her head and smiled. "No. I'm not acctually finished. If you could wait here for me for a bit. I promise I won't be long."

The man nodded and Niko was off to look for Yui and Aoi. She would find them not long after. They were walking through the housing district with ice cream, still covered in paint. "Yui... Aoi..." Niko's calm demeanor frightened them. Then with two feared screams, Niko made her move and all that was left was two ice cream cones on the ground.

"We're sorry... We'll never do something like this again..." Yui and Aoi apologized to the man as best they could. It turned out that Yui and Aoi had an altercation with this man. It was over some ice cream. The man had bumped into Aoi and made her drop her cone. When they showed discontent for the man, he went and knocked the cone out of Yui's hand. That's why they wanted revenge on the man. So, they took the paint and went to town on the house. They wanted to teach the man a lesson in respect. Niko nodded as she forced them to apologize. She even scolded the man for knocking out the ice cream. Such a waste of ice cream. Niko had played mediator long enough.

"Does anyone still have any issues?" The man didn't look as happy as he did, but he was grateful and shook his head no. He then walked into the new clean and repainted house with no problems. Niko turned back to Yui and Aoi. "I'm sorry about your ice cream. I understand what he did was wrong, but two wrongs don't make a right. Sigh* Come on," Niko would smile now and offer something no one expected.

"Let's go get some ice cream. My treat."

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

When Niko made it home, she had completely forgotten about Itsuki. She was too busy with Yui and Aoi all day. She never got the chance to find him. With a sigh, Niko headed to her door. There was a not on it. It read: I saw your fights. You've got skills but you need to work on your throws. Keep it up!. "Strange... Who put this here? I'm being watched?" Niko thought about it before heading inside. Being watched is one thing but to tell her she needed work was a completely different thing altogether. "Itsuki...?"

Niko put her things down and got settled. Then, she jumped up to the roof after a quick drink. She wanted to try and train with fire. She herself didn't have the affinity for it, but with the sharingan, there were some techniques she could learn via copying. After reading the scroll the night before, Niko had effectively learned quite a few of the Uchiha fire style. Now it was her turn to come up with a technique all her own.

She began with the concept of the basic fireball. The molding of chakra and the release of that chakra was the hardest part for her. She used a concept from Amaterasu's Blessed Breath that shot off a sea of fire into projectiles. She knew that exhaling the fire would increase it effectiveness. She took a deep breath and exhaled. A stream of fire came out that formed a ball. Niko was impressed with herself for even being able to do that much. She would have never been able to do that just because she physically couldn't. Now, it was somewhat of a breeze. Then it hit her.

Niko bit her lip as a tear came down her cheek. Niko stayed strong however. She wanted her fireball to be different from everyone else's. She wanted it to pack a punch. She wanted it to do some damage and possible create space if used at point blank range. She knew everything she wanted, she just had to put it all together somehow. It didn't seem to difficult. Just a lot of fire right? Niko tried with a giant fireball she shot in the air. It was slow and kind of sluggish, but had an extreme amount of punch. Still, it wasn't practical. Then she tried making it the size of a baseball. She focused on the speed the most.

Niko then began to practice that move and every other Uchiha fire move she could think of. She was focused, so much so that she was trying her best to get them down. Hand seal after hand seal, magatama after magatama, and Amaterasu's blessed breath. She would continue to get used to molding that chakra and then releasing said chakra. Niko was also a genius. As she got used to it and used to it, she started to drop a hand seal. The techniques would come out differently until she continued to practice. Finally, after what seemed like forever, Niko was able to use those two moves proficiently with just one hand seal. Now it was time to move on to the fun part.

Now that Niko had learned to mold her chakra very well, it was time to see if she could manipulate it like she could her own lightning. She grabbed her sword and tried the same concept as her lightning. There was nothing for the first few tries, until she got the little flame wisps going. The wisps started to grow and grow. Soon after, they turned into a full flame around the blade.

Niko continued to play around with it until she could swing the sword with the fire still on it. Then, she turned it into a burst technique. The fire came after the sword swing. If anyone were to touch it, they would most likely be burned.
It had been several hours since Niko made it up to the roof. She had developed her own technique. She made sure she knew how to use the Uchiha style of fire techniques. She also was now able to manipulate fire and affix it to her own weapon. Now, it was all about the fire itself. Niko began to sit down and close her eyes. She wanted her flames to be different. She didn't want to be related to an average Uchiha. No, she was a Hatake, one with red lightning and unfortunately a sharingan. Then, Niko remembered what she knew about fire.

Fire was basically life. Fire breaths. Fire grows. Fire eats and destroys. Fire dies. It was a very simple life. Niko understood this very well. Fire also had a number of layers. Each layer gets hotter and hotter. That's what Niko was focusing on with her meditating. She wanted to be the with the hottest of flames. That way, she will always have a mark that separates her from the Uchiha. She stood up and began.

Niko's goal: make the hottest fire. Niko spent so much time and energy shooting off flames. Deep breath after deep breath. She would quit until she got this. Soon she noticed that the fire was starting to change shades. It was going from a red to and orange-ish color. Soon, the orange turned into a a bright yellow. Niko was almost there. The sun was coming up and as the rays began to hit the roof, Niko sent off the most extremely beautiful stream of blue flames she had ever seen. They were just magnificent. Niko herself couldn't believe it. She tried again. Beautiful. She even threw it on her weapon just to make sure. Again, Beautiful.

Some kids walked by as Niko was practicing and noticed the stream of blue flames. Niko heard the commotion they were making. She looked over the ledge of the roof. That's when one of the kids pointed up and yelled. "Hey! Was that you?!" Niko yelled back down answering him. She was almost delighted by what she heard in return that she almost cried. She spent so much time up on the roof just to make herself stand out from the Uchiha and it looked like she succeeded. She knew that it would still take more time to master but she didn't care at the moment. After a long night of training, Niko jumped back down to her home remembering what that kid said to her.

"COOL FLAMES BRUH!"

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Bird Of Prey

It was late afternoon when Niko woke up. She had never slept in that late a day in her life. More than half the day was gone. With a big yawn and a disappointed sigh, Niko got out of bed. She bathed and readied herself to start the day. She decided on ZelenΓ‘ again today. She didn't know why but she felt that to be the best choice again today. Hisashi, who had woke up much earlier, was on the balcony looking at the sky. It was a beautiful day outside. Niko walked over to him. "You ready Hisashi?"

Hisashi looked back and stood up. He barked at her happily. "Oh hey Niko! You're up! Yeah I'm ready! Let's get goin... huh? What the?! HEY IT'S YOU! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?! GET OUTTA HERE!" Mid-sentence, Hisashi was distracted by the same bird that came down and attacked him at the lake. He came down again and started to peck at Hisashi. The two scuffled knocking over some of Niko's patio furnishings. Things weren't looking good for Hisashi when Niko activated her sharingan. She got the birds attention and soon hypnotized it. "Please stop messing with Hisashi and apologize."

The bird wore the sharingan in it's eyes before stopping and landing on the railing. Then, after a moment, it cawed at Hisashi. "Look cuz... I'm sorry, but I just don't like you cuz." Hisashi looked confused. "You don't like me? Why? I didn't do anything to you!" The bird turned it's head toward Niko and then back. "Why you got such a pretty a** master cuz? Huh? Huh? Why are you so special cuz? Huh? Where my pretty master at cuz? Huh? Huh? Are you the only one who's allowed one then cuz? Huh? Huh? Huh?!" With every huh, the bird hopped closer to Hisashi on the railing. Hisashi was beyond confused. "That's really the reason... wow. Just... wow. She's not my master by the way. She's my sister." Niko couldn't understand the bird, but she could understand Hisashi. She smiled when he said that. She never thought of Hisashi as a pet. He was always her brother. The bird looked back at Niko before speaking again. "Don't judge me cuz! Not everyone has family ya know..." Then the bird flew off.

New Mood: Niko's Home

Niko sighed as she and Hisashi left the house. Hisashi took what he said to heart. He thought about the bird. He never asked the bird's name if it even had one. He remembered back to the bear attack. If it wasn't for Niko, he could be in the same situation as that bird. He looked at Niko as he followed her. He smiled and wagged his tail excitedly.

"I'll never take you for granted Niko. Not in a million years."

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

When Niko made it home, she decided not to train in her normal clan jutsu or sharingan. She realized that's what made her so tired the other day. Niko just wanted to work on a few things then head to sleep. She wanted to make sure she got in some practice with the katanas. It had been a while since she had used them and wanted to make sure she still had it. She would go to the roof and practice her swings and overall control of the blade. It was almost like riding a bike for her. She picked up her other one and began to swing both. She had a stance that worked well for her in the past. She placed the blade in her right arm behind he back and her left in the drawing position. This way she would have a quick vertical/diagonal or horizontal slash off rip. It was an effective stance for her.

She had also bought some explosive tags and wanted to train in those. She put a small amount of chakra into the tag. She then attached it to a kunai and launched it at a small tree. The explosion was small and weak, but still enough to leave a mark on the tree and break the kunai. It was a strange weapon indeed. She wanted to put more chakra into them, but she knew it wouldn't be safe. She'd just have to wait till she was in a fight or something. Still, it was a nice skill to have.

Finally, with her last bit of energy for the day, Niko learned a technique from one of her scrolls the other day and wanted to try it out. She went to a nearby small tree. After a bit of mediation, Niko had stored a ton of chakra into her leg. She let it mold there for a moment before raising it, and bringing it down on the tree. The tree was instantly destroyed. Like instantly. This was a deadly technique which again, Niko couldn't wait to try. She was almost ready. She just needed a bit more time. With that Niko jumped back up to her balcony, and went to sleep.

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

When Niko awoke, it was back to training and working. She hopped out of bed, and jumped to the roof. It is always good to start with what you know and build from there. Niko remembered her dream. In it, she had used a lightning based jutsu that was more so a beam than anything else. She started with the lightning bolt. A quick zap of lightning that did some damage. It was good for many things, but not for the final hit. She needed to make it better.

Niko had an idea. In the dream, the beam was a continual stream. She thought that if she was able to sustain a constant stream of lightning, she would be able to turn it into the beam. She shot the bolt off, trying to shoot more than the one. She lost it but she was getting closer. After a few more tries, she was about to grasp it when the hawk came back. "Sup. How you doing pretty?" The caw was not understood at all, but Niko still smiled. "Hello friend." Niko turned back and shot of a stream of lightning. She finally got it.

After a few tries, Niko was able to produce the beam. With a smile and a sigh she jumped back do to her balcony. Before she went in, the bird called one more time. "Hey! Tell the wolf to bring his a** out here." Again, Niko was clueless. Still, after spending time with Hisashi, she took a random stab. She went and grabbed Hisashi before going to bathe.

"Oh... it's you. What do you want?" Hisashi looked up smuggly. "Hey mane. Sorry for coming at you like that mane. I was just jealous that's all. We cool mane?" Hisashi was all the way caught of guard. "Huh? Oh... well, we cool, but what happened to cuz?" The hawk flew over to Hisashi. "Cuz is for cuz' I don't like mane. You got a nice thing here mane. I don't need to be here all the time but let me stop by every now and then mane, you know when I'm lonely and what not... mane." Hisashi looked at him. That bird had some nerve. Thinking that he, could come hit a serve. Nope, not with Hisashi's curve. He was gonna kick that bird to the curb. Hisashi went to tell him to go, when the hawk hit it's puppy dog eyes. He wasn't playing. Maybe this bird had no family. Maybe he needed a friend. With a sigh, Hisashi nodded. "Sure... mane." And with that, a new friendship was born. Then Niko and Hisashi left for the academy, letting the bird follow along.

The illusion had been broken when the squalid cry of some creature fading into the unknown. In the middle of madness, he fought with himself as he did others, pulling back on the alter ego that was born of corrupted chakra he saw with his Byakugan when it was active.

He laid in bed that morning, staring up at the ceiling as he contemplated on his thoughts that followed that night. In the back of his mind the one thing that stood out the most was the moon, its change was very central in the visions he had. Someone attacked under the influence had affected him with genjutsu in the mess that was... the fight outside in the district. He sat up and remained in his deep thought, pondering his course of action for the day.

The moon huh? It felt like it was a dream.

The morning went by quick with the routine chores in the apartment, breakfast was made with a simple eggs and toast. Simple meal for a day full of interesting priorities, he was going to look into a few matters that troubled him from the blood moon. Outside in the alley Zahara was dressed in his usual attire, black jacket and loose clothing as he clapped his hands together as chakra focused in his arms and legs. A good way of practice was simple chakra control and the best control was what he had in mind next. Wall walking, something every student learns and becomes apart of their kit in everyday life.

He stepped up onto the wall with one step at a time, chakra flowing freely from the soles to the vertical surface. Up at ten, fifteen feet Zahara stood on the wall and looked on the surrounding area, noting the civilians moving about in the street below, airs of caution hung low and heavy on many from all he could only guess. He positioning himself on the wall, chakra still flowing through his body to keep himself attached to it like a spider so he was now parallel with one hand supporting most of his body and one arm free. This control is trivial... considering I already use all my tenketsu He thought to himself as he now pushed off from the wall and made a jump toward the opposite side of the alley.

The jump was a bit of a moderate success as he kept both arms outstretched with chakra continually flowing through his limbs and caught himself to it. While he hadn't fell, he stuck the landing on the vertical surface with a bit of inefficient positioning as he took a moment to get to a 'stand' as he ran up the wall, pushing his stamina and chakra control more to the test. Every few steps, he bounced back to the other wall to repeat the catch and grab method with the wall walking, fine tuning the landing each time until he was at the very top of the alley on the opposite building of the one he originally started to practice on.

He sat on the edge of the roof, one foot on the ledge and other dangling as he kept in a deeper thought, again watching the morning routine of other villagers.

Niko Hatake: Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!

Mood: Niko's Home

Niko made it home after returning from the market. Hisashi followed behind, and the unnamed hawk seemed to find it's way back to them. "Thanks for lettin' me roll with y'all today mane. It was more fun than I thought it'd be mane. You two are pretty cool mane." Hisashi turned to the bird. "You know at first I thought you were just some punk who wanted to die... but you're pretty cool yourself... uh I don't know your name." The bird just flapped there for a second. "Well? Aren't you gonna tell us?" Niko looked confused as she looked at the bird. He seemed reluctant to caw again. "I-I don't... I don't have a name mane." Hisashi was surprised. "You don't have a name?" When Niko heard this, she jumped in herself. "You really don't have a name?" The bird shook it's head. Niko stood there for a minute in thought as Hisashi looked at the bird. "Man, that's gotta suck." "Who you telling? But it's all good. I don't need a..." "I got it!" She quickly turned to the bird with a smile. "From now on, you will be known as Takashi." The birds eyes lit up. He landed and thought it over for a moment. The he flew right over and landed on Niko's shoulder. Then he started to rub her face with his head. "Oh mane! Takashi? You bet! I'm Takashi mane!" Hisashi started to get a little jealous when the bird flew up in joy. "I'll see you two later! Takashi will be back mane!" After doing a few circles in the sky, Takashi was off.

"That was really nice of you Niko. Apparently, he doesn't have a family... I didn't know he didn't have a name either." Niko smiled as she put her things down. "Well he does now." Niko laughed as Hisashi joined in. Soon, it was time to start training. Niko thought she would approach it differently today. She would also practice her moves, but she never practiced simple things like molding her chakra or meditation. That's where Niko would start. Niko sat on her bed, closed her eyes and made a hand seal. She began molding and building her chakra, circulating it throughout out her body.

After some time building it, Niko would slowly release it in a form of meditation. Niko, eyes closed, lifted all of the emotions from her body with her chakra, leaving only the sounds of her surroundings. Even with her eyes closed, she could tell that Hisashi was making funny faces at her from across the room. "Careful, it might get stuck like that." She joked with Hisashi, spooking him in the process. "How did you...?"

Niko then thought of a great idea. She made a few hand seals. After those, she practiced some more. At first, it was all about the seals themselves. She was trying her best to get them all perfect. Seal after seal, she made sure there were no errors or flaws in the seals at all. Next up was the hard part. She focused on not only precision, but speed as well. She continued until she was tired. She only had one last test to do.

What is a signature technique? Niko would ask herself this as she jumped up to the roof. All of the training she did just now was for this technique. She molded her chakra so she could get the hang of it. She practiced mediation so she could concentrate. She practiced her speed so she wouldn't get caught of guard or taken by surprise for being too slow. Niko went over all of this again before pulling out a scroll. It had a technique in it made by one of the most prominent Hatake's in all the land. Now, since that technique was far too advanced for her, there was a beginning jutsu, one that was made famous by an Uchiha, whom she was now tied with. Niko started there.

Niko began charging her chakra in her left hand. The chakra was all there, so Niko only needed to add her lightning. That was easier said then done. As soon as she put the lightning in, the jutsu snapped and broke. Niko wasn't expecting to get it on the first try, but this was by far the hardest jutsu she had to learn. After several more tires, Niko was finally able to produce the lightning jab. There was a problem though. She was unable to move with it. Then, it snapped away again. She would try quite a few more time before finally being able to move with it. Now came the hard part. The scroll stated that this technique needed quite a bit of speed to be effective. Niko had no choice but to activate her sharingan. She got comfortable moving with it and soon running with it. She ran across rooftop after rooftop, with the Chidori screaming out as she did. Soon, she deactivated her sharingan and tried again. Though it was a bit harder, she was able to learn it. It would still take some time to master, but she got it down for the most part.

Then, it was back to training her chakra. She had expended quite a bit fooling around with the Chidori. Still she had it down. She closed her eyes and began to build her chakra. This took some time due to her reserves being low. She was also very tired as she had a very productive day.

The chakra began to come back as Niko was in meditation for an hour. Meditation for her was like playing outside to a child. She had so much fun and actually wanted to do it. She learned a lot about herself and her techniques through self reflection and becoming mindful. She was calmer after meditating as well. Since she was done there, she went back to molding her chakra through hand seals.

She wasn't focused on speed this time. It was all about the mold and how much she could. Each hand seal gave her a slight bit more control over her chakra. She tried to mold as much as she could so she could build her chakra reserves more by doing so. She was in complete training mode, but she was only training her mind tonight. She wanted to get stronger mentally so she could handle situations that may tax her physically. A mind was a terrible thing to waste after all.

Niko finally ended her training by circulating the mold chakra back throughout her body. She had gathered a bit and was just trying to add to her reserves. She stored as much as she could, before molding again. By the time she was done, she could tell she had more chakra before she started. It was a crazy amount, but it was more than she had before. Niko was continuing to grow at a nice steady pace. She would be ready to take on anyone soon enough.
With a smile, Niko turned to Hisashi, who was now a wolf again.

"Done training?" Niko smiled as she nodded. It was very late, but Niko did promise Hisashi steak. It was now time to make good on her promise. She hadn't eaten that night either so she surprised the mess out of Hisashi when she activated the man beast clone again.

"Come on Hisashi. Let's go get some steak."

                                                Half-Blood Hyuuga

... I am the Flame of the North ...

The lingering thought of the blood moon itself had hung on the back of Zahara's mind ever since the bloody night. It was the middle of the day now as he remained inside collecting his superiors assigned him to, some meager jobs that needed to be done and to make a report of his account on the night. Since his unwilling transformation that fateful night, Zahara had been quiet of what transpired and it weighed quite heavily. Two men were dead because of his inability to control the desire to feed, another was a woman he attacked shortly after whom he wasn't even sure was alright after their encounter.

His superior left his home shortly while a few men lingered still, asking questions and taking statements like that incident were a crime. "I remember not much of anything, everything blinded me that night." Zahara said truthfully but withheld some incriminating portions of his not so savory half. They took his notes, made a few examinations and then with his orders given to him in a scroll they took their leave so he was left alone.

A heavy sigh came from him as he pressed against the wall, sliding down onto the floor as he clutched the scroll with his orders. He looked over the scroll's contents briefly then heaved another sigh and tossed the thing aside, clattering a few items. For a time, he stayed there and considered things before finally picking himself off the floor, grabbing a coat and pocketing both his scroll and a notebook.

This is weighing on me too much, I need to look into something. Zahara breathed out as he took his leave from his apartment and for the college. It was time to look into things left unanswered. // Exit
