N I K U M A Nikuma's Charge was abruptly stopped and to his surprise, his face was promptly shoved into the ground instead. If that weren't bad enough, he was kicked hard in the gut and sent flying yet again. The boy was sent into a coughing fit as he was trying to recover from the attack. No matter how hard he was trying, Daiko just kept knocking him back. And then he'd lecture him on what he should be doing. "Don't...tell me how I should feel! What do you know anywa-!" he cut himself off. It didn't occur to him until now, but he felt he was correct in his assumption. "...So you knew about it too! You were just mocking me! You...! You...! YOU...!" the boy stood, rage overcoming him. His energy quickly skyrocketed, reaching levels he never touched before. With newfound power, he closed the distance between him and Daiko, unleashing upon him a barrage of punches.

Daiko would watch him as the boy would come to a realization. Daiko's eyes mellowed seeing the ki rise and his mouth quivered. His hands shook. What was this? He'd watch the rise and as he approached him. Daiko would push forward to start defending. The punches stung his guard with the increase in power, and he was struggling to keep up a bit with the offense. It was that feeling. Daiko's heart pounded. It was a spar. The first one he had in a while where he could take a bit of joy in it. His eyes saw one of the fist coming for his face while moving to defend, though was a bit late, feeling it graze by his eye before pushing his ki outward, as the Cyan dispursed and he kicked off. Daiko would flip backwards and land infront of his house before blinking slowly. "You're getting really angry, and it's like it fuels your strength. . ."
He'd say while pushing the jacket off, and tossing it to through the doorway. Same with his belt and shoes, seeing as though he wouldn't need those getting hurt. But it seemed he had a pair on under the attire as he stepped forward. "Let me give you respect enough to. . .Atleast show you some of the strength you could have. . ." He'd tell him while closing his eyes and opening them teal once more, his mouth let out a short grunt as the attire exploded and his body was bathed in a golden aura, his eyes visible in a silhouette of what the State he was in. He'd swipe away the murky gold and show the young man his new state. His hair was blonde and waving in his aura, his gi was on, and his expression firm and determined. This would be followed by a quick motion.
Or more so, a set of motions. He'd bounce around the young man at amazing speeds. Almost without leaving a trace before grabbing him by the back of the collar from his side and palming his chest. Daiko had a sterner look seeing what the boy's reaction would be before awaiting the boy, seeing if he would continue and waiting for his next move.
✧Being the student of an Elite Saiyan warrior had its benefits, for one this student had opportunities for many levels and methods of advanced training, combat with strong opponents, and of course being able to travel to different planets and systems. While this particular Saiyan had enjoyed the easy life that allowed him to be pampered on many occasions by the family maids and some admirers. The current opportunity given brought him to Earth, where he and his mentor had helped a certain Tuffle get off world. While his mentor went to help with the Tuffle’s escort, his student was charged with staying on Earth and helping with protecting it. His mentor’s first mistake, however, was leaving his student to his own devices. The student knew exactly who was on this planet, and that was exactly why he was so eager and pleased to be given this chance. From where his mentor and his escortee left, the Saiyan used what little ki control he was capable of and flew towards the battle power he was sure belonged to the target of his intrigue. Prince Daiko, the Saiyan had heard stories of the prince, and he wanted to see for himself what he could do. From what he had heard from his mentor, Daiko’s brother, the prince was quite the warrior. Having achieved the legendary golden form, he was someone to be reckoned with, and this Saiyan desired to see it in action. He hastened to the where the Prince reportedly lived, and already he could feel not one, but two great battle powers. The young Saiyan seemed all the more excited as flew and would eventually arrive at the location. He kept his distance, watching the altercation, or perhaps training, from afar. It was a fight between the prince and some child, who sported a great deal of battle power. He brought a hand to chin, whistling lowly as he watched. I need to get in on this… He thought to himself with confidence, despite being well aware of what either of these two could do to him with their current power.
N I K U M A At last, Niku's assault had put Daiko on the defensive! His flurry of punches pushed the warrior back and one had even grazed his cheek. He had no choice but to fall back as Niku refused to let up even a little. He was going to pursue Daiko to where he fled; however, the used this opportunity to power up himself. This was Super Saiyan- as he learned from Okra and seen Daiko do before. He was told he had to be angry to achieve that form, yet it still seemed to evade him. And then, he was snatched up in the blink of an eye. The boy didn't have a chance to defend himself before he was struck in the chest with a palm strike. Robbed of breath, he was trying to gasp for air. And at the same time, he had swung himself forward in an attempt to kick Daiko in the chin. Even after such an attack, he was still fighting; though it was his blind rage that moved his body to act on its own.

The boy was caught on his hand before he fell a bit before watching his foot come up. Daiko's hand would move in a blink to the back of his heel and slap it to a stop. He'd then push his palm up to lift Niku lightly before grabbing his ankle. Daiko's foot lifted to rest on his knee while spinning the lad. The speed of which was akin to a twister while gripping tightly, and as he got to the end, he'd throw the boy into the pile of trees that seperated the house from the road. After which stepping towards the area slowly, his aura shimmering while he crossed his arms. ". . .Get up." He'd call to Niku while stepping to the start of the forestry while closing his eyes. He'd turn his head slightly to adress the boy in the sky with a gaze before turning his head back to Niku awaiting him to either get up or cave.
N I K U M A His kick fell short of meeting its mark as his ankle was grabbed. Niku was unable to breakfree as he was spun round and round. There wasn't much he could do until Daiko released him into the cluster of trees. That's when it happened- his ki flared up around him and became actual fire. Though he was now lit ablaze, he wasn't being burned. This fire served as a buffer between him and the trees and the ground he eventually collided with. He wasn't aware of what happened or why, nor was it his immediate concern. There was still a chance to get Daiko while he kept yapping so arrogantly. With his last ounce of strength, Nikuma was already up and putting his all into this one last attack. He was in a lot of pain and he could feel blood trickling down his face and between his fingers. The small forest was now burning from his impact, smoke and ash obscuring him from sight. Putting all of his power into his fist, this would all end in one punch!

Daiko would watch him fly back through the foresty and the trees while his mouth let out a small sigh of relief. The building of ki was seen and sensed as he saw the fires raging around the young man. That would alert the ranger again. Daiko would see him start his dash. His speed was remarkable, and so was determination while Daiko closed his eyes a moment and thought of how it would end. He'd nod his head and step forward. His bang moving, since it was his now ahoge and he'd almost meet the boy's fist for the powerful strike as his face would be fazed through and his body faded. He would trade spots with an afterimage and watch the results of the blast go by his house to see the intent to harm before following up with a powerful, ki amplified, Grudgeless Strike to the boy's back only holding back enough not to kill him at this point. Daiko would hold it in the position after letting out a sigh whether it hit or not.
N I K U M A Once his attack was ready, Niku dashed toward Daiko with his fist raised. This was his make or break desperation move! Burst from the smoke, he would appear before the man and for a moment, it seemed like he hit him! But that image of him would quickly disappear as it was revealed to be an afterimage. Before he could respond, a powerful attack landed on his back, the boy coughing up an unhealthy amount of red liquid. He immediately dropped to the ground, unable to move. The boy tried to raise his head, his last act of defiance before promptly passing out from his injuries. He had failed...

Daiko would watch his body lay on the floor while he tried to see if the boy was gonna get up. But it seemed that he was out for a long time. His hand would move to his chest. He'd move it around a bit before pulling out a small burlap satchel. His eyes would find the boy's head as he picked him up slowly and turned over, setting him in his lap while sighing. "You'll thank for this later kiddo." He'd murmur while letting the boy rest on his lap, and drops a small bean into his gullet. Daiko closes his eyes while his hand finds his way to the center of Niku's chest. His arm pulsed while he pushed down to act as a fibulator. Hopefully the Sage beans would help him come back from the brink of death. Daiko would smirk after while closing his eyes. "I hope you'll forgive me for acting like this too. . .I heard ya wanted to be a Super Saiyan. . . So I'm gonna make you the best Super Saiyan I can."
N I K U M A Not long after he was knocked out, Niku suddenly jolted awake. His body was full of energy and he felt like he woke up from the best nap ever! The boy looked around with bewilderment until he saw Daiko's face. What was going on and why was he in his arms? Sucking his teeth, the kid jumped up and turned his back to Daiko. That's right- he lost. He didn't know why he was fine now, but it didn't matter. "Nimbus!" He called the cloud to come pick him up. With nothing left for him here, he was going to leave. To where, he didn't know, but he sure wasn't going home anytime soon.

Daiko's hair would die down while watching the young man hop up without a word more than calling the vessel he was going to leave on as Daiko slowly stood up and dusted himself off. His eyes blinked slowly as he would start. "You fight like a Saiyan. . .It's really refreshing, after feeling like there was no one on Earth like me." He'd walk towards the cloud while giving a somber smile and putting a hand on his hip. "And you probably feel refreshed and more powerful now. . .It's because everytime a Saiyan is beaten to the brink . . .Of. . ." He'd slow down as he stopped. Daiko would then close his eyes. "I know you're. . .Upset. . . Angry at me." He'd stand beside the cloud while putting his hand on it, he'd feel his palm rest on the pillow like cloud. ". . .I miss her, and never got to talk to you about anything." He'd look to Niku and frown while his teeth bit his lip a bit. "I Love Bur Niku. And she taught me to care for myself too. . .And. . .To do what's best for the people you love, even if they don't understand at the moment." He'd say as he let out a sigh to calm himself. "But it's not fair to not explain if you can, I've seen what being misguided, or unguided can be like. . .That's why here, now. I'll tell you this." He'd look up at Niku on the cloud. "I don't know what I'd do without Bur. . .But as long as she's alive. . .I know that it's not the end, and knowing how she's going to her people once more sets me at ease. I may be alone here, but I can rest easy know she's okay, but it doesn't take away that it hurts. It hurts like I know you're hurt, and it's my fault." Daiko would remove his hand and cross his arms. "But. . .Just like with the boy, Okra. . .The girl Z, and your sister. . .And you. Along with Team dragon and our families, I know that I can keep going." His muscles quaked a bit before continuing. "And . . .I know as long as I'm here. I can make things right. I can raise a son I haven't had yet. I can protect the world that Burberry left for me, and that raised me, and put my efforts into making the generation better than this one." He'd then turn his head to Niku. "I . . .Know it's alot. And you don't need to be okay with it. . .Or just okay now. But, if you ever think you can get past what you think of me now. I can teach all sorts of stuff." He'd say while turning around from the boy and stepping towards the house.
N I K U M A The Nimbus would heed his call, flying down from the sky and hovering before him. Nikuma hopped on, ready to take off...but he paused when Daiko began speaking. He remained quiet, but he didn’t start to actually listen until he brought up Bur. His fist got tight, remembering yesterday when he was told she would be leaving and then seeing her off this morning. His Aunt Bur was...a lot of things to him and his family. For the longest time, his mother had been upset about his father leaving and it was Burberry who made her happy again. He and his sister came to love her too; she was just a genuinely good person like that. And now she is gone because of Daiko! ...But it wasn’t until now that he took the time to understand Daiko. Though he didn’t want to see it at first, it was clear that he really did care a lot about Burberry too. He was hurting just like he was...probably more so. Niku kept his back to Daiko as he finished his spiel and his hands finally unclenched. With a deep sigh, he took a seat on the Nimbus and hung his head. And then, he broke his silence and for once would spill his heart. “...It...It’s too much. It’s not fair…” his voice cracked as the tears started forming. “I thought I could just...blame you for everything. But...it’s not fair- to you or Aunt Bur. I just…” The boy sniffled, wiping his eyes with his sleeve. For a moment, the kid got quiet before he started to speak again. “...Yesterday, when I came back to the dojo, after fighting that monster...Mom was there. She...found out gramps trained me. I’ve never seen her so mad before… She said some really bad things...and she said I couldn’t see gramps anymore… I thought it couldn’t get any worse than that… But then Aunt Bur had to leave… And then...after she left, I heard GranGran and mom talking about...me. About dad. This whole time...I'm not even human. And dad… Is he...really not coming back?” he cried.

Daiko would stop as he began to speak up. He'd sigh the moment the first words came out. The young boy's life was just as in shambles as his. He'd turn his head a bit towards Niku while stepping back to the young man on the cloud. His ears heard all the things in the past few days that had weighed on his shoulders and he would offer a small smile seeing the tears. He'd put a hand on the boy's cheek and wipe the tear away while he replied. "You're not human. . .You're a Saiyan. . .Just like me." He'd say while showing a flash of his Super Saiyan form. "It's. . .A difference in genes, but you're different than you are before. It's potential. . .Potential to be great. A great martial artist." He'd tell him while moving the hand to the top of his head. "And I know it's not fair for your mom to react like that. She saw your dad. Cayen. . .She saw me." He'd tell him while regaling a bit. "As a Saiyan, we fight against the Galaxies' most powerful creatures and beings. To protect the men and women of the galaxy we reside. We are fighters too. Looking for greater and greater challenges the more challenges we face. It's a rough road. " He'd tell him while blinking. "But also, it's in your blood, it's in your spirit to want to get stronger. And whether it's because of her allowing it or not, you're gonna want to seek challenges beyond the bounds of a cage." The sigh leaving his lips would be followed as he got to his father.
"My brother and your father knew each other. He was my brother's first rival." He'd say while mellowing his gaze. "He told me after the fight with Sabi about it." His gaze would fall onto the boy. "Your father was a great warrior too, and a kind heart. . .He would've been here if he could. Though I can tell you with a whole heart." Daiko would throw a warmer smile on while showing his pearly whites. "He's probably watchin' ya, proud of how strong you've gotten. . .And how strong you'll become." Daiko's eyes close before continuing. "How strong. . .I'll make you." He'd tell him while moving to his shirt and pulled it up over his head, revealing a dark undershirt he wore. He'd then hold the gi towards the lad. ". . .I'll ease the troubles with your mom over it. . .But. . .As a Saiyan. . .And as a member of the Turtle School of Martial arts, it's my duty to lead the next generation."
N I K U M A The boy listened to Daiko for a change as he explained to him what it meant to be a Saiyan. Galactic defenders who fought to protect others; who sought to fight and better themselves, something he resonated with. It also made him think of his dad...and the last thing he told him. “My dad...he told me to...look after my mom and sister” he recalled. It was his greatest motivator to seek strength: both to protect his family and honor the promise he made to his father. He was surprised to hear Daiko knew of his dad, that their family was closer than he realized. And to hear someone speak highly of his dad brought a proud smile to his face. The older Saiyan would go on to say he’d make him strong and hand him his gi. Nikuma took it in his hands, looking it over and feeling...encouraged. “...More than anything. I want to be strong! Strong enough to protect my family- to protect everyone! Just like my dad...maybe even better” he smirked. Niku wiped his eyes, feeling a bit better after airing his grievances and finding someone who was in his corner.

The man would watch the boy's demeanor change up as he put a hand on either hip and looking down at the lad. His hand moving to pat his back as he closed an eye. "Protecting your loved ones, that's a good start. . .But that's a road most difficult, I hope you're ready to train harder than you ever trained before." He would say while crossing his arms and smiling walking towards the house while peering up at the Saiyan above still watching. "You look like you've had a big hardship with our little bout and that is the train to Super Saiyan. . ." He'd then smile while turning his back to Nikuma. "You just need a push. . .But . . .No, that's a little too much for you now. . ." He'd start before turning back around with a semi serious face. "Maybe you are enough right now." He'd say while slapping his chest twice pointing to Niku with confidence. "Maybe the first part of your training should be being thrown into the lion's den. . ." He'd call. "'Iku-sa. Do you think you are ready to fight a threat to the Earth?"
